“Nothing but good coming from On A Roll! I started working in the area about 6 months ago and this quickly became my goto lunch spot just about every day. What can I say, I love sandwiches and plenty to choose from at On A Roll. Simple deli atmosphere and I can't help but smile and laugh when talking with Lou and his amazing staff. If you're hungry, go for the Ultimate 9", the Rueben is great (the rye bread is the bomb!), or go for something different like the High Roller. I've tried just about the entire menu and it's nice to go to a sandwich shop with their own style, not the same old same old. Some of the combinations are adventurous and absolutely worth a try so I recommend breaking out of your shell and trying something new.My biggest note is that you always check the special board for the special of the day. Lou has some tasty specials so don't forget to check the board. Sometimes I forget and kick myself once I see what I missed. My final words: Get over to On A Roll and help out a tasty small business that won't destroy your wallet like everyone else!“
“My husband and I absolutely LOVE Hungry Bear. Not only is the food high quality, but so are the people that own + operate this business. Every sandwich is big + BOMB. Our favorites are the chicken cordon blue and the cheese burger sub. We miss having the Escondido location near by, but it's worth the drive to Vista! “
“Reliably good quality service and food. Pricing is on average. Being able to call the order in and have the food ready is a plus. They are generous with giving extras like peppers and pickles. Pricing for accoutrements is expensive, chips and drinks. Are use them often and would recommend them to others“
“This restaurant is very close to me and has quickly become a favorite. I think I've come in here once a week for the last 4 weeks since finding it. I've had a sandwich, quesadilla, torta, and several juices. They were all amazing which is why I keep coming back and will continue to come back.“
“It was my first visit it was a amazing time. The staff was very kind a family friendly treatment assisted me with my choice of sandwich I got "The Lady Liberty". I highly recommend coming here than going to subway especially if you work around here they also deliver apparently. The cookies are freshly homemade the day of or the previous night ready to eat.“
“We used to say it felt like homemade food here. I have been eating here for almost a decade. I work down the street and all my coworkers eat or have eaten here. Prices are perfect not overpriced at all. They have range, burgers, sandwiches, chili, salads. I enjoy the cheeseburgers, chicken salad is one of a kind! They let you order a la crate and customize your food however you want. They make breakfast plates or burgers! They ladies up front are extremely nice, they remember your name. They take orders by phone and they never get it wrong. Only downside is they close by 2-2:30? I get off work at 3:30 and sometimes I wish I can take my wife some of the food here. Great lunch spot for all the people who work in this company heavy area.“
“Campus Café is a fantastic food stop for breakfast or lunch. Today I did their Korean barbecue that was their special for Thursday. So yummy. Has just the right amount of fight and balanced out nicely with the salad. You won’t be disappointed coming here.“
“Fantastic little place! Hot pastrami sandwiches and fresh baked cookies! I almost don’t want to share to keep it a secret for myself, however, they deserve it! Guy behind the counter was super friendly, food came out hot and fast, and was delicious!“
“Great spot, I already can't wait to come back! The food was delicious overall. We shared the brisket dip and half + half rueben. The brisket was a bit dry but the dip sauce was so unbelievably tasty it made up for it. The breads were so good too. The side of potatoes was perfect and better than the cucumber tomato salad, which had a lot of unexpected dill and not many tomatoes. I also ordered a delish sounding iced tea, but it tasted bitter and oversteeped to me. They were nice enough to let me swap out for a hot tea, but I would have loved a solid iced black tea. It's order at the counter so I suggest adding a water station, because we had to track someone down to ask for water, which took a while to come to the table. Still such a good meal and an awesome menu with many more things I want to try!“
“Judy's is the best, a true cornerstone of Carlsbad, I've worked in several jobs over the last 10 years around Judy's and have only seen a minor increase in price and never a decrease in quality, the sandwiches are fully loaded and the side of Mac salad is hands-down the best I've ever had, I recently tried their breakfast burritos and without a doubt, it was delicious, huge and fully loaded with fresh crisp bacon and a huge side of salsa. I have taken coworkers, friends, and family to Judy's over the years and no one has ever had anything bad to say about the food. The place is small but there is a nice outside area with tables and shade. Lastly at Judy's you never get anything less than amazing customer service.“
“I had been seeing their ads on tv and was tempted to get some Honey Baked Ham. But as I'm the only carnivore at my house, I couldn't buy the full size. Luckily the very nice young lady behind the counter told me they sell cut outs. It worked out perfectly! There were about ten slices on a plastic plate, covered with plastic wrap and in its own individual bag. I couldn't wait to try it so once I got to the car, I had to pull one slice out. My dog and I totally enjoyed it! It was very convenient that they had that smaller version. Will definitely be back.“
