“Been coming here for years. As a local born and raised in Encinitas, there is no better restaurant for drinks and great food that has withstood the times. As for the service from the staff it has always been exceptional. Most recently Saul has always taken care of me with recommendations on drinks and food. They have just recently changed their menu so definitely something to check out.“

“My husband and I have been here for the very first time and we immediately fell in love with this place. The staff is amazing, they know how to treat you and make you feel at home. Alice is very passionate about her job and we loved her homemade desserts sooo much. Ray & Mark went above and beyond in making our daughter-in-laws 50th birthday celebration special. The 50th balloons, cake accessories, & gift card were unexpected & appreciated. This is a place to go for a special celebration! Chef Joseph prepared a variety of delicious boards & more. They truly give top notch attention to detail & service. Highly recommend!“

“We enjoyed our first time at Little Victory. The food was excellent, the seasonal Pasta (summer squash, blistered tomatos) was absolutely unreal, one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. The basque cheesecake was delicious as well!

As a first timer, I think the restauraunt would benefit from a small sign outside directing guests to the correct area inside to check in for a reservation. It felt like we were intruding because we didn’t know where to go and to be wandering around getting passed off from server to bartender to someone else to try and find a host to check in with wasn’t a great first impression. However, once we got sat, the staff were truly friendly. Our server was able to give us helpful guidance on the wine list and we liked the wine we chose.

The atmosphere was pleasant and the space is well decorated, but we did notice as it got more crowded later in the evening it became increasingly louder inside, which made it challenging to hold a conversation. Maybe some aesthetic looking sound absorbers would help!

Overall, a lovely little spot tucked off in a quiet street of Carlsbad. Definitley worth a visit if you enjoy a good Southern California wine bar vibe.“

“Rosinas is consistently excellent authentic Italian food. The only food downside ( which is why I gave Food a 4 out of 5 rating), is their Ceaser salad...it is consistently bland, really watery, and tasteless...such an unpleasant surprise given that ALL of the other salads are so delicious, and ALL of the other food is delicious. Rosina, PLEASE update the Ceaser salad..it is really awful.“

“This place is beautiful. A wonderful atmosphere and great decor, we had a great view with lunch! We had great drinks and our appetizer was basically a charcuterie board, which was good. A little mediocre for the price but it looked beautiful! I had the fish and chips which was melt in your mouth delicious and my fiance had the short rib pastrami sandwich and she said it was delicious. Overall a good view with good food!“

“Me and my family visited this place after a day in the LEGOLAND on a Saturday.
It was not crowded at all.
The services are very polite and attentive.
We ordered 2 scallops for appetizers, a soup, and deer steak. My daughter loved the scallop a lot.

Mint ice cream with chocolate source for dessert. It was not too sweet. We liked it.“

“Visited for a special event dinner with Epoch winery from Paso Robles. The owner of the store was exceedingly gracious and friendly and the event was a great success. The store has a pretty wide range of wine offerings as well as local craft beers, with several exclusive/harder to get wines as well as more mainstream options. The store is admittedly "Paso-centric" in their overall portfolio, but the prices are consistent with what you would see at the wineries. They also have cheeses for sale at the front counter.“

“The pizzas are really good with decent variety of vegetarian options, thin crust, and perfectly cooked each time. The pastas on the other hand are good but not great.

The service however is excellent with attentive staff who are knowledgeable of the menu and make excellent recommendations.

Husband got the surf and turf which came with a generous portion of filet a lobster four or five shrimp and veggies. I got the appetizer shrimp barsac, which I didn't like and sent it back because it was not peeled properly so I just ate off my husband's plate and it was really good“

“Great bar for n the pool area. Went for the music in the afternoon which was twice a week. Not sure about the exact dates or times so ask. We went to the owners reception where we had free wine and cheese and salami snacks. It was a little chilly but they had fire pits to warm you up.“

Our server Kay knows the menu and had great recommendations. Capellini alla checca was outstanding. Added blackened chicken and made the dish even better.
The Arden pizza was like a steak dinner on pizza. Outstanding!!
Definitely be putting this place on the recall roster.

So you should be able to find something to pair with your dinner. If not, try a mocktail, cocktail or beer. We sat on their upstairs patio where we could sort of watch the sunset over the water. Yes, there were buildings and trees in our sightlines but still nice. Service was very good considering they were slammed. Will definitely be back again.“
