“Things I love about this location. Unlimited toppings. Everyone is super nice, easy street parking. Bathroom is accessible , water available. Board games and some stuff to keep kids busy. Good to pickup and take home. The Acai is a touch icy when it is first scooped, good to let it melt a bit before consuming. Will be back!“

“Favorite smoothie shop in the Valley! Everything is dairy-free too which is amazing. Dairy makes me break out so it is super frustrating how most smoothie places are not readily transparent about their ingredients (because many, like Jamba and Robeks, use sherbert as a base for the majority of their smoothies). I can safely order everything here and it's all tasty :) The sizing and pricing is also more reasonable than Jamba or Robeks. So far I have tried:

SUNSHINE (juice): I've gotten this like three or four times, very good, not overly tart and not too sweet. Well balanced. Try if if you haven't yet.

MANGO MIA (smoothie): a crowd pleaser, try this smoothie if you aren't sure what to get.

WATERMELON BLAST (smoothie): delectable, I was worried the watermelon flavor wouldn't be very strong because it can be a deceptively delicate flavor but I was pleased with it.

ISLAND COLADA (smoothie): This is a newer premium option. Tasty albeit banana forward, the fun blue swirl effect is temporary (because the whole thing turns blue lol). Take a picture right away!

GREEN UP (smoothie): Wow this one might be my favorite. I was kind of nervous about the inclusion of mint but it just added a subtle freshness. Did not taste overly vegetal like green smoothies sometimes can, was a touch less sweet than their other fruit forward smoothies. I highly recommend trying this, especially if you like green smoothies. If you've never tried one I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

ALMOND BUTTER SHAKE (smoothie): After flu had wrecked my appetite I desperately needed fat and protein in a way that would be gentle on my stomach so I ordered this delivered. Between the almond butter and coconut milk it's definitely one of their higher calorie options. I was able to comfortably sip on this through the day and it helped keep me full. If you've never tried almond butter before it is much milder flavored than peanut butter (which is why I purchased it). I appreciate that they have an option like this, sometimes you need the calories/fat/protein but most smoothie places only have peanut butter which is much more strongly flavored.

The only complaint I have is that I suppose the parking could be annoying but I've always just walked there or ordered delivery.“

“Omg, I used to live in porter ranch and can’t believe never been here. Food is so good, super fresh, staff is super nice. I got bento box with beef and the portion was huge for this price it’s a lot, couldn’t even finish half.

“We've been there a few times. In fact we had such great experiences both times that we gave gift cards to this location to our staff in the office. The food is always great, the coffee drinks are terrific. They're super friendly and the service is really fast. It's small inside but very clean and seats plenty of people so we've never had a problem getting a table.“

“I went to grab my bowl after 6pm, so parking was really tough.

Aside from that there were many options for a base, I was able to mix and match as well. I got the agave coconut and classic acai base and it was a good mixture and wasn't overly sweet. For the toppings, I got granola, mangos, blueberries, a little bit of Nutella. I also got some Chai seed, cocoa nibs and bee pollen. The combination of flavors were so good. I think this is the first time I've had bee pollen in my acai bowl.

I also got the regular beef emapanda, as you can see it's mostly filling, I was impressed. I really like how there were meatless options ,next time I'll the beyond meat Philly cheesesteak. It was recommended by the fella that was on the shop when I went.“

“I’ve known the owner and employees at FruttoMania for what feels like years. They were truly paved into my morning tradition. They are situated on a block where community is everything, and they are a large reason why that is so. Every morning my dog would start our walk at the same time they would open up for business. He’d wag his tail in excitement of seeing Tata and Caribel open up the shop and prepare him some slices of cucumber.

You might think, cucumber? He used to get dog treats from Tata that she personally went out of her way to improve for my dog. Not her fault he wound up with pancreatitis but even when he couldn’t have the treats she got for him she found a way to spoil him and he loved her for it. He never missed a day, and his love for that shop was endless and even tho he came for cucumbers he stayed for them.

It wasn’t just for my dog though, they took incredible care of me as well. They invested their time they had getting to know me, we’d come in for my dog who needed 3 minutes and spend half an hour talking as they got ready to welcome customers.

Not to even mention the drinks are fire! 🔥 all the ingredients are super fresh and you will not find a stronger ginger juice for your wellness shots anywhere else. FruttoMania has great prices, quality of food, and personal experience. I will miss seeing them everyday and our lives will not be the same without them. Make them part of your morning, I will be envious of every customer who reads this and pays them a visit.“

“Great drinks and food across their multiple locations. I didn’t realize there were multiple locations and this was my first time at this specific location. The overall aesthetic of the shop is essentially the same. The service can take a bit long since it’s usually 1-2 baristas working as the cashier and the barista making the drink.

The food and drinks are a bit on the pricier end but very delicious.

They have outdoor seating available with umbrellas for shade.“

“WoW! Blown away by the quality of the Fruit Cocktails here! There are smoothies, there are fruit juices, had it all, but the fruit cocktails here are something else! I had a custom made one, half/half, don't remember the exact names, one was with the avocados, and the other one was with strawberries (and so so so much more), they are underneath each other on the menu (as of August 2018). The only thing I regret is that I ordered the 20oz (600ml) and not the 32oz! If you are in LA, you MUST go here. I haven't come across anything like that anywhere else yet! When I come in, I may have not had breakfast or lunch and they literally bring energy back to me that my system needs. “I got the lean & green smoothie, it has 21g of protein, avocado, spinach, hemp seeds, chia seeds, cinnamon, sea salt, coconut water, almond milk, blue spiralina, maca, superfood protein. Great food to have as a protein fueler, would recommend earthbar if you’re looking for a mid-day snack to hold you over or a pre/post workout smoothie! The taste was pretty good as well, it wasn’t distasteful as a greens smoothie. It also doesn’t make you feel super heavy after drinking it which is satisfying. The DoorDash presentation was good too; tightly packed in a stapled bag and cup holder.“

The level of care and customer service she showed truly impressed me and deserves recognition. It was clear they genuinely care about their customers and their standards.

I came back today and tried the açaí bowl again, and it was phenomenal. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly how it should be. It honestly may have just been an off batch or handling issue the one time I had a bad experience.

I really respect businesses that take feedback seriously, make things right, and stand behind their product. Because of how this was handled — and how good the bowl was this time — I’m happy to update and retract my original negative review.
