“Interesting how I’ve seen reviews that state these are ok for LA but just ok for NYC. I think these are great bagels and I’ve had worse. I’d be curious to taste a “real” NYC bagel.

Today was an onion with egg and Swiss. Yummy and a fantastic cup of coffee with the option of Oak milk which I appreciate.“

“Best bagels in LA. Always hit the spot. I love the plain bagels with cream cheese but they also have so many cool specialty bagels I feel like you can't get anywhere else in LA. It's usually somewhat busy but I preorder most of the time which makes the whole process much easier so I recommend doing that. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I recommend Layla for anyone who wants a delicious bagel that keeps you full!“

“delicious, high quality bagels, toppings, and cream cheese spreads! came on a wednesday morning and there was a small line, the food itself is amazing and there is a wide variety of bagel options ranging from bagels with cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches. drinks are also available but didn’t try. it is on the pricier side with the BEC at nearly $17 without avocado… but it is in santa monica so that checks out. definitely recommend to UCLA students looking to try something new, food is great!!“

“Probably top 3 bagels I’ve ever had in my life. And I LOVE a NY bagel. I got the rosemary and seal salt bagel with lox, bean sprouts, tomatoes, and eggs and it was absolutely fantastic. The bagel was cooked to perfection and flavored wonderfully. The people were super nice and it was made super quickly.“

“Now I love me some bagels. I eat bagels several times in a week. I walked by this place and I said let me look at the menu. The prices seemed pretty good. Then I couldn’t even decide what I wanted because it all looked so darn delicious. People kept trickling in and I’m like oh shoot this place is busy. It was around lunchtime. I was greeted every employee in there seemed super happy with smiles on their face like they loved their jobs. They all worked fast. There was about four or five people making bagels stocking everything and just doing their job very thoroughly. But I will say this if you’re not a bagel fan come here and it will change your mind from how they pair their sauces, meats, eggs, veggies everything altogether you will fall in love with this place. “We ADORED Layla Bagels and Coffee! We went to the Beverly Hills one. Charming, incredibly delicious original take on the bagel and more. Freshest ingredients. Amazing delicious combinations which include fresh herbs and seasonings as well as the key ingredients. The tomatoes, cucumbers and onions, the quality of the smoked salmon, and the beautiful fruit bagels with the freshest fruit and wonderful flavor combinations like adding honey to it are THE BEST. Budget lunch options in Sawtelle are hard to come by. At NY Bagel and Deli, you can get a good old fashion new york style bagel for less than $10 (including an add on and the egg surcharge). Their bagels seemed to be made in house. I found their everything bagel to be delicious! It was very filling as well.

I came later around 1pm and they ran out of hashbrowns. Hoping they have hashbrowns the next time I visit!“

“Its tasty. Ingredients are fresh. I got the one with cream cheese and salmon. The amount of salmon was laughable paper thin pieces, but the entire sandwich tasted good. The portion is basically two big half bagels. The dough is not doughy and doesnt stand out like at Noah's. The tomatoes are really tasty and meaty. With a can of soda I ended up paying $23 which is kinda hurtful lol. The place is pretty small but they have a small curbside seating area. The play neutral music and the service was fast. One and done“

“I was in town visiting from New York when I stumbled on this place. The guy at the front counter was super friendly. The breakfast sandwich was by far the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had… so much so that I went back the next morning too. SO GOOD!“

“Stopped by Sam’s bagel to grab a lunch sandwich. Around 1:30 pm there were not many options left. I’ve ordered a Turkey sandwich on a Jalapeño Bagel.
Sandwich comes with lettuce and other veggies and sliced turkey ham, 11$ for the sandwich is a fair price. The taste was good but nothing special, just a good sandwich. It’s more a shop for to go orders. Service was ok, had to wait until the staff took my order even if nobody was in front of me.

“Mike at Mama Donuts decorated our donuts as a turntable for our daughter’s 50th birthday. It was a vinyl record party theme! The donuts were amazing! The decor, the taste. They fit the theme and they were scrumptious. Mike was so great! He was responsive and his customer service was excellent. I highly recommend Mama’s Donuts whenever you want donuts!“

“This place charges $5 for a large orange juice but the size looks like what most Americans would classify as small/medium. I had to double check google maps to see if I was back in Hawaii again.

I haven't been to the dad's deli, Langer's in decades, and forgot what a good pastrami tastes like - only Langer and his daughter do it right, and on the best rye bread in town. So so so worth every penny of a sandwich. No other deli compares. Only note would be a nicer or more comfy eat-in vibe.“

Vegetarian options: The workers are fine with any replacement or add on and there is quiet a few vegetarian options such as the cream cheese on cheesy jalapeño

Dietary restrictions: They have fruit and different types of bagels and cream cheese etc so it meets any dietary meals.“

“Nice coffee shop in Culver City with a nice and cozy vibe. Artsy and vibrant they propose both pastries and coffees/teas, in short anything you need to wake up in the morning or to grab a late afternoon cup of joe.
With its bohemian vibe and decoration it’s definitely a trendy but not pretentious place to stop by

“The owner was getting ready to close but was kind enough to make me a croissant breakfast sandwich with turkey. It was fabulous! He toasted the croissant 🥐 and the sandwich was still warm when I got home. Reasonably priced and highly recommend! Thank you 👍😊“

“Donuts are so good here! They are so doughy and soft. They are definitely cooked freshed everyday. You can tell and taste the quality. Even after a couple of days they still taste really good. “My husband and I just bought a house in the neighborhood and were looking for a place to grab a quick sandwich and pastry before going to our closing meeting.

The two young women working inside were SO welcoming. Truly, you would think they knew we were soon to be neighbors to the store. The ambiance inside is clean and bright, with a well-stocked display case of fresh donuts near the counter and several coolers of various beverages (a good selection, too) across from it.

Our order was VERY freshly made and prepared quickly. We also ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice and a cup of drip coffee and took it to go. The sizes of the sandwiches are very generous (pics don’t do it justice, but I’m only holding HALF in the photo) and it was so tasty! Fresh, crisp, and flavorful.

This donut stop is a MUST. New to the area, so not sure if it’s the norm, but any New Yorkers should get bodega vibes from this stop. Will absolutely be making this a regular stop for my family.“

First time ever having flavoured coffee without it being flavoured from a sweet syrup.
