“I don’t have anything negative to say about the Shake Shake in Encino. The food is amazing but biggest factor to me is the customer service. The team is very friendly and the GM even knows my name! (I’m in often. 😅) The Mac and cheese right now is 🔥“

“Our dinner last night at IHOP was outstanding. I believe the difference was the service we received from Benjamin. We were greeted with friendliness and a smile as soon as we walked in the door and were seated promptly. Beverage order taken and filled quickly. All options and substitutions we addressed and accepted. The food was delicious, exactly how we wanted it, and served in a timely manner. Benjamin made sure our drinks were always full. He was really on top of everything during our meal making it a very smooth experience. We have gone to this IHOP many times over the years and typically the service is adequate. Unfortunately the previous time we had gone it was terrible. So much so that we addressed it with the manager another day. They offered to comp us a dinner, but that wasn't what we wanted, just better service. We decided to give them one last shot before writing them off. Last night was the complete opposite in the best way. Just service that went above and beyond any expectations. Benjamin really made all the difference and he is the reason will continue to go to this IHOP.“

“Fat Sal’s Deli is not the kind of place you go to for a light meal or a careful, measured dining experience. It’s the kind of place you go to when you want food that commits fully to what it is—bold, oversized, unapologetic, and designed to be remembered long after you’ve finished eating.
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere made its intentions clear. It’s lively, slightly chaotic in an energetic way, and filled with the kind of confidence that comes from knowing exactly what you’re offering. There’s no attempt to be subtle here. Everything about Fat Sal’s feels amplified, from the menu to the portions to the reactions of people waiting for their orders.
Ordering felt almost like making a decision with consequences—not because it’s difficult, but because everything sounds like it’s designed to be more than enough. The menu reads like a list of comfort food ideas taken to their most indulgent version, and narrowing it down becomes part of the experience itself.
When the food arrived, the first thing that stood out was the sheer scale of it. These are not modest portions, and they are not meant to be. Each item feels constructed with a sense of excess that somehow still works because it’s backed by real flavor and structure. It’s big food, but it’s also intentional food.
What surprised me most was that despite the size and intensity, the flavors were well balanced. Rich ingredients were layered in a way that didn’t feel random. There was a clear sense of composition behind each item—something that could easily be chaotic if not handled properly, but here managed to stay satisfying and coherent.
Eating at Fat Sal’s is also an experience in pacing. You don’t rush through it. The portions naturally slow you down, not because they’re heavy in a negative way, but because there’s simply a lot to take in. Each bite feels like part of a larger, ongoing experience rather than a quick meal.
The atmosphere around the dining area reflects the same energy as the food. People are clearly enjoying themselves—sometimes laughing at the size of their orders, sometimes sharing dishes, sometimes just taking a moment to process what they’ve been served. There’s a shared understanding that everyone is here for the same reason: something indulgent, satisfying, and over-the-top in the best possible way.
Service was efficient and matched the rhythm of the place. Even when it was busy, orders moved steadily, and the staff handled everything with confidence and familiarity. There’s a sense that they are used to the reactions their food gets—and that’s part of the charm.
What makes Fat Sal’s stand out is that it fully commits to its identity. It doesn’t try to be subtle, refined, or minimal. Instead, it embraces excess but still maintains enough structure and quality to make that excess enjoyable rather than overwhelming.
By the end of the meal, I realized it’s not just about the size or the novelty—it’s about the experience of going all-in on comfort food without hesitation. It’s the kind of place you remember not because it was delicate or quiet, but because it was bold, loud, and completely satisfying in its own way.
Overall, Fat Sal’s Deli delivers a dining experience that is heavy in presence, flavor, and personality. It’s indulgent, entertaining, and surprisingly well put together beneath all the excess—and it absolutely delivers on what it promises.“
“I recently visited the Burgerim headquarters. I really like the franchise opportunities that they offer. I met with the owner and he was very informative and supportive. I think everything they offer is very reasonable and would make this opportunity very rewarding. They offer to work hand in hand with you and are a one stop shop. They help you every step of the way. My experience at the headquarters was very impressive and I am looking forward to working with Burgerim.“

“I have to share how great Judith, the manager, was today. I messed up my to-go order and put two chicken tenders instead of chicken tenders and chips. She not only not charged me for the chips after explaining the situation but gave me quite a large portion. I know chips are cheap but this small painless interaction was just so appreciated. I’ll go out of my way to come back here“
