“I make a pick up order so I don't know what the atmosphere is like but the food and service for pick up all really good. Highly recommend. I got a whole chicken and used it throughout the week for lunch and dinner. I also get their bottled dressings and salad and make wraps for lunches. I love their mashed potatoes and gravy. I also like the vegetable soup, very flavorful. Not a fan of the sweet mashed potato it was a bit watery.“

It isn’t easy to find a good fried chicken sandwich in the valley and I was incredibly (and surprisingly) pleased. A shame that due to slow business they will be shutting down in October. “As for Fried Chicken goes, Honey Kettle is one of the better ones in Southern California. The simplicity of the goods is what makes this staple good. There isn't many frills, but good fresh chicken cooked with some care.

There have been some small issues with service from time to time, but overall I would maintain their high rating because of the delicious chicken they serve.

There are some hit and misses with their sides, but certainly do get their beans.

Portions are not big, but there is nothing wrong with over-ordering something that could be finished later.“

Ensuring that my food is always cooked to order and served to me with his smile of appreciation for my patronage; he takes pride in his work. Therefore, despite my initial decision over the past year to give up on KFC altogether; I return to this particular location only.“

Like I mentioned previously they make it from scratch so it takes some time. The lady on the phone said my to go order would take 20 mins. Decided to eat it there and my heart melt! The salsa is bomb, the food is bussin, come support small businesses!

“I have actually been obsessed with this place after the first time i tried it at a party. Started ordering from them a couple times a week from The K town franchise but i heard one closer opened and started ordering from the Sawtelle one. At first my orders were perfect but then the quality started going down. Their chicken was perfectly crunchy with juicy meat and great flavor. Now i order and pretty much every time it arrives burnt and dry . Super dissapointing considering i was thinking about getting my own franchise but Alvin Kim never called me for my meeting. I actually called once to ask why my order was so burnt and what has changed. The sweet girl basically said she wadnt sure but that if i order during a rush time at the restaurant that i will probably get that bad quality because of the busy staff and chefs. Not a great response. Anyway im super disappointed and dont even want to buy from this location anymore.“
