About HOLDAAK Fried Chicken

Great fried chicken joint next to Dunkin’ Donuts, offering crispy chicken sandwiches, wings, and other tasty treats. The Holdaak Original sandwich is highly recommended, along with the crispy and moist wings. While prices may seem high, the quality justifies it. The lunch special includes a sandwich, fries, soda, and their famous comeback sauce. Customers praise the hot spicy chicken sandwich with pickles, coleslaw, and secret sauce, describing it as juicy inside and crispy outside on a potato bun—much better than Dave’s. The chicken tenders are considered the best, with high-quality chicken perfectly prepared, and the fries are seasoned so well that ketchup is unnecessary. Their Holdaak sauce is also highly praised. The fried chicken sandwich, especially the spicy one with daikon slaw, is a favorite, with the chicken packed with spices and the spicy sauce adding extra flavor. The daikon slaw complements the sandwich perfectly, and the buns are similar to sweet Hawaiian rolls. The comeback sauce is a sweet yet spicy delight. Parking can be challenging as the plaza is often busy, so many opt for takeout, though there is a large dining area. Orders are usually ready on time or early. Customers are encouraged to look out for daily deals like BOGO on sandwiches and discounts on wings, available online or in person. This spot is a fun place for a satisfying meal for all.

I’ve been meaning to try this place for so long and today I was finally able to. I’ve had chicken sandwiches from Howlin Rays and LeCoupe and this is on that level. It isn’t easy to find a good fried chicken sandwich in the valley and I was incredibly (and surprisingly) pleased. A shame that due to slow business they will be shutting down in October. If in the area give it a try! There was only one man working and he was incredibly kind and attentive!
I decided to come try this place out today. I saw a handwritten note posted on the door that they are closing everyday at 4pm.

I ordered the Korean bowl. Not noticing that it’s The spiciest bowl they have. It was tasty but it was super spicy.

The place was nice, clean and roomy. The service was friendly and professional. I asked about the handwritten note regarding their hours and was told that they are shutting down in October of this year. Since business is not...read full review
One of the best places for a hot chicken sandwich meal. Good prices too.
