He was super friendly, made great recommendations, and did not let the mimosas run low. (if you show up for Sunday brunch, ask for Steven!) 3) Food: Bottomless mimosas for $24 is a great deal, especially on this side of town. Speciality drinks were good too. I enjoyed my chicken and waffles. They weren't stingy on the chicken like almost ALL the restaurants in LA and the waffle was a nice side and delicious. “Went here yesterday for the Oscar’s party and it was such a hoot! I LOVED the puppies they had in front and that they care for rescue dogs, the food was incredible, the Bingo was fun and watching the Oscars on the big screens felt awesome as well! Definitely recommend coming here for events (eg I look forward to watching the World Cup here eventually) but would also come again for their nachos alone lol! Also the heaters were great once the sun went down!“

“Work right across from here so this place is one of my go-tos for lunch. Never actually sat down and ate inside even though the energy is always feels good. I've gotten just fries from this place about 4-5 times. There's a reason i've gotten it 4-5 times. They're crispy, always fresh and well seasoned. They also give you three sauces: spicy mayo, garlic aioli, and honey mustard. All are amazing and my favorite is mixing all the sauces and putting them on top of the fries. I've also orders the mozzarella sticks and the classic burger, no cheese, lettuce tomato and pickles. The mozzarella sticks are big and the cheese stretch is perfect. For the burger I didn't care much for the bun but the taste of the burger was amazing. I always come back and will always come back.“

I like the decore, pennies under resin on the oak bar, bathrooms are nice since the refurbishing. Prime Pizza walking distance (a lil far but not bad). Park across the street. Coffee place I haven’t been to a few doors down that closes shortly after this place opens. Lazy Daisy breakfast location right next door. Street parking at meters, or park down in the neighborhood south on the cross streets, not far at all. Sometimes I park and jog at the park then stop here. Also I like the jukebox app they got going. There’s also back alley parking and entrance. They just started offering pretzel, dog, snacks, I used to have to go to grey block pizza, now prime pizza. There are other Mexican, fast food, and 7/11 joints nearer. There’s a Whole Foods less than a block away too.“

“I'm an Irish guy from Glendale and a US veteran to boot, been to a lot of restaurants and bars... this pub is wonderful. Love the food, atmosphere, and people that work there are great peps. The owner is a super friendly guy "Willy" and was always walking around talking to people, like a good business owner will do. No wonder this bar has been and is a staple for Santa Monica. Parking is okay, but it's Santa Monica! Lol Anyways, love this bar! Next time I'll take a picture of the Irish breakfast that I ordered on Saturday 03/16/24. It was GREAT!“

Three of the four that came with ordered an outstanding nachos plate and I had the chicken avocado salad which was really just okay. I'll try something different next time. Parking is available in a paid lot but the machines weren't working the day I was there. Street parking is also available (read the signs) and there's also metered street parking.“

I usually called to place the order over the phone and the customer service is always amazing. When I do order food for pick up or like with a delivery service, something tends to go wrong, or be forgotten or miss made but anytime I've ordered delivery with them. It's always top-tier.“

“Driven past this spot for years. So I decided to take the plunge, so to speak and have a go at it. I tried their fish and chips, and they were amazing. The portions were awesome and well priced. The service was fast and friendly. It was pretty busy, but my food was out pretty quick. The peri peri sauce was a new find for me and I'll get that in the future. “Islands is a classic family favorite. I miss the giant birds that they had at the old location back in the day, however the modern day Islands is fresh take on the beachy island vibe of yesteryear. They have a spacious outdoor patio, bar space and plenty of booths inside. The menu has changed quite a bit over time (they have a burrito on the menu now?), but they are typically known for their burgers and fries. Their fries are so good and they always come in a large portion. I can never get enough! I ordered the big wave and the kid's burger for my son. For your burger you have a choice of bun (wheat or white) or you can do it lettuce wrapped. I thought the kids menu had a lot of great options for littles. My son really liked his side of pineapple! However his burger was SO salty. It was saltier than my big wave burger was, so not sure if this was a fluke or the kids burgers are just saltier. Didn't love it. I enjoyed my big wave. It's exactly what you would expect and the veggies on it tasted crisp and fresh. Service was great too! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Overall the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I come here more for the nostalgia of it but I do crave their fries often!“

“Rock & Reillys is always my go to spot when I'm on the strip and looking for an easy access spot for some food and drinks. Sometimes the rainbow gets too crowded or I'm seeing a show at the Roxy and need a spot that's more low key, quick in and out and Rock & Reillys always meets that need. I like the inside as it has separate rooms which help to make it feel a little more spacious. Their bar top is another great option if you're not coming for food and just need a drink. You can eat at the bar but I find it's more comfortable eating at one of their booths. The staff here in my experience are usually pretty nice but sometimes you do have to flag someone down for service. It all just depends on how busy they are. This spot has bathrooms that are usually clean compared to the other local venues so sometimes I sneak over here as well - regardless if I am actually dining in or not. Don't tell anyone. Haha. The sunset strip is a lawless place and sometimes you have to do what you have to do. The food is average but I'm usually just coming here to grab a drink, potty, and to kick my feet up after a concert lol. In the past I've gotten appetizers and they are basic but filling. No issues. Definitely a good mixture of being a tourist spot and one for the locals. I've been coming here for at least 10+ years and it's a local spot no doubt.“

“The starbar is right next door to the u haul location where I Frequently I've been going to in the last couple weeks. Because I'm moving out of my house. I've never been to this establishment, but I hear the owners are really good people and they have couple t. Vs, and I'm sure they have really good drinks. I don't drink myself but I'm sure others do and would find this place relaxing although it is on. Deventure itself and when you're next to a busy street.
