“We had a great location in the restaurant. In the very back patio. It was pouring but with 2 heaters it was very cosy. 1 of our servers was great, the other seemed to hate her job. Food was average plus, nothing special, but the ambiance made up for it“

“This place is divine. It is true authentic French and you feel like you've been transported to Paris when you go. The food is so finely prepared with quality ingredients and each dish is so unique and delicious. It's my new favorite!“

“AOC has always been a “go-to” restaurant for all the right reasons- food, food, food, service, service, service, ambience, ambience, ambience. I must have dined there +20 times and it just keeps getting better. And, NO, I was not paid for this review. I am particularly “gushing” with my comments this time because my wife and l are dealing with stressful external forces in our life and AOC provided a little quiet from the storm and performed perfectly in every way. One of the best meals we've ever had there. Kudos to all!“

“This was our first time at Saltie Girl. We will definitely be dinning at Saltie Girl again. The oysters were outstanding and not a bad price at $4.50 each. They had great flavor.LA Pink salad was very good with an excellent crushed maple walnut dressing dressing. The Moules Frites, probably the best I ever had, even better than in Belgium! Ipswich Claim had a wonderful coating and excellent flavor. The Fried Brussels Sprouts outstanding flavor. The French Dover Sole with the lemon, capers, butter and parsley, amazing flavor. Lump Crab Toast bold and delicious flavor. The one dish I would pass on next time is the Tins. We had one tin with Sardine In Olive Oil With Lemon and one with Hake In Green Sauce. They just lacked flavor.Service was top notch.“

“Wanted to try something new so we decided to stop by and it exceeded our expectations! We got the Patita, Sisig, garlic rice, and lumpia. The patita was extremely crispy on the outside while the inside was very soft and fell off the bone! The sauce was amazing and the garlic rice went well with the dish! The sisig was soft and flavorful but had a bit more of a soy sauce taste to it which was not something I was used to with regular sisig, but still great ! Lumpia was crispy and loved eating it with the sweet and sour sauce!“

“It was our 1st time there. Smaller than it looks in pics so I'd say it's a quaint place. Only a couple beer choices but decent amount of wine choices. The food is shareable which I prefer. The salads were sooo good! The 2 pizzas were sooo tasty. The bread with butter is light & airy. Sauces for the pizza crusts were a bonus.Parking: Next door lot is $25 for about 2 hours“

“Excellent food and cooking! Large menu, including a lot of option for vegetarian/kosher diet. The outdoor seating was nice and equipped with heaters. Price was fair. The service was a bit long but we went on a Sunday night, so understandable. We will going back for sure!“

“A great addition to the valley. From a valley girl who eats everywhere OUTSIDE of the valley, I can truthfully say that I am happy about this being so close to home. :) Ambiance and atmosphere here is 10/10. Both of my experiences have been pretty great. Staff has all been nothing short of attentive and really nice. Both times I have sat at the bar, and each time was a pleasant experience. However, I will say that the restaurant gets very loud which can be a tad bit overwhelming, but I don't think they can control that. As for the Ramen, I can honestly say... it was flavorful. My first visit, I decided to try something outside of the norm, which was the Shrimp Wonton Ramen. It was delicious! Definitely not a traditional ramen but just as good. The friendly bar tender recommend I try the Spicy creamy Vegan ramen with added wontons the next visit.. which I did. 10/10 would suggest!!! The broth on the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen is super flavorful! Adding in the Shrimp Wontons just made it 10x better in my opinion. I have yet to try any of the small plates, because the ramen is sooo filling. But next time I definitely will. Great beers on tap, and yummy cocktails! As mentioned, I will be returning back to try other things on the menu. Overall, I do enjoy this restaurant.“

“Hakata Izakaya popular among Asian peopleThe store staff also spoke Japanese, so I felt comfortable. The offal hot pot is for two people, but the portion is large and it feels like the best value for money.Other than that, they also have ramen.Personally, I really like the Whimsical Sake Ate.“

“Immediately in, the Hostess was informative and friendly. We felt welcome and appreciated. We had a cozy seat and ordered a few cocktails. The server was a great help when we were deciding what to order. The food came out quickly and was all quality and so, so yummy. We ordered more plates and a bottle of wine as we finished our first round. There were 3 of us and we shared and ate family style.I did feel like the prices were a little high for the amount of food you get. But we thoroughly enjoyed the service, atmosphere, drinks and food.“

“Wow wow wow! This place is unreal. Probably the most gourmet brunch in the valley you can get. Gasolina is a Spanish inspired brunch restaurant in the valley. I ordered the skillet breakfast which makes me think of shakshuka, a Mediterranean egg dish cooked in tomatoes and onions. This is their take on that dish, but amplified with meat and a different inspiration of flavors. It doesn't look like it will fill you up but trust me, you will be very satisfied. My girlfriend ordered the burger and we split the patatas bravas. Both very good and cooked to perfection. The wait staff was also very friendly and gave us good recommendations! Highly recommend this place for a former brunch in the valley.“

“Went there for a quick lunch. Ordered $22 bento box. Decent quantity with quality food. ? friendly and professional service. The environment was good too- not a lot of people. Not the cheapest quick lunch in this neighborhood but worth the money as the food was diverse and delicious. Would come back again! ☺️“
“Great spot! I came here 10 years ago, and was delighted to find out it is still open. Same charm: dark wood, sweeping curtains, smokey cocktails, red leather couches, jazz music. We had the chicken bites, a glass of cab sauv, and one of the lychee cocktails. Everything was good but the lychee wasn't overwhelmingly good- I will probably switch to a whiskey based drink next time. The chicken was a perfect small bite to pair with drinks. Everyone there seemed to be a pair: first dates, deep conversations, etc. There are tables in the main room, couches in the fireplace room, and a long bar.“

“I came here with a couple friends and wow I mean, I've had my fair share of Mediterranean before, but this place takes it to a whole new level! The vibe is super cool, perfect for a night out with friends or a low-key date. And the food? AMAZING!Every single dish we tried was perfect. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable too, so you can trust them to guide you through the menu. All in all, Tapas Bar is a total gem and I can't wait to go back!“

“Came here on a Friday night for a girls dinner with some friends. Food was excellent!! Loved everything we got. Drinks were also very good - I recommend the espresso martini but the wine I ordered was also fantastic. Service was not slow but definitely drawn out so I’d plan on taking your time which we were happy to do! Our server was wonderful. Overall great experience and would come back again.“

“Okay this is going to be a long review1-beautiful atmosphere, well done ✅2-wonderful friendly staff, well done ✅3-as a very first time customer i did my research and read many reviews before fully committing to trying out this restaurant3B- I agree with everyone who shared their opinion of “leaving here hungry”3C- the food is absolutely delicious BUT the price ratio and plate proportions are off4- have you ever heard of Grandville4B- this restaurant could be Grandville’s twin, you are so close and yet just not there5- the advertised drink menu is so short and limited but in truth the bar can make many more traditional cocktails you just have to ask- the menu should show more of these options6- overall I believe this restaurant will survive but as a business can improve and dig deeper into fully servicing a bigger presentation of the community successful vs becoming a limited community customer pleaser7- i am going to put 5 stars but i am wishing i could give 4.5 stars- really wish google offered half star options“

“Super happy that Stalking Horse is in the neighborhood. Some of the best fries in town, and the flatbread pizza they have at lunch is incredibly good. Trivia night on Tuesdays is also a highlight of the week for us. Good people, good vibes, good drinks, do yourself a favor and check it out.“

“One of my favorite and most visited lunch spots. I mainly come because of the food taste and quality, but I also love their large menu that also has a very large vegan section. I myself am not vegan but eat with others who are so it’s nice that we can both find something that we enjoy. Service is always really fast and the portion sizes are really large, but not too large. It’s very small on the inside so we usually eat at one of the tables outside, otherwise your best bet will be eating at the counter inside. They have a small parking lot attached but it’s $5 to park, however it’s easy to find metered street parking right out front or free street parking in the neighborhood west of Tu Madre.I usually order the Carne Asada bowl with half rice and half crispy kale because it’s my favorite of the options but today I tried the Crispy Fish Bowl and loved it as well. The crispy kale is such a great addition and pouring their homemade salsa on top is a great finish. I have also tried their guacamole and love that as well.Overall a great taco and bowl spot with an extensive regular and vegan menu. I plan to be back many times in the future.Parking: paid parking lot for $5, metered street parking, or free neighborhood parking“

“While the ramen is quite good, try their other non-ramen offerings. Katsu curry rice is very good here (katsu pork was prepared perfectly and curry flavorful) as well as their gyudon (beef over rice). Service as fast, friendly and attentive and the dining area was very clean. Value for the meal is excellent especially for West LA! Cannot recommend enough!“

“Let's start off love the layout of this place very cool calm and collective atmosphere local atmosphere. The plating was very nice and aesthetic. The service was quick and attentive. You can get onto the waitlist on Yelp which I love. Biscuits n Gravy - 6/7 it was super filling and I would've appreciated they went easy on the sausage bits. It felt like a soup. But it was tasty and a different take on it. Side of eggs, SUPER SALTY Benedict - 7 the taste was ok, pork belly was a bit small and didn't go well with the benedict very well could've been better as far as pairing it together. The pancakes were 10/10 which is was the upside of our brunch light, fluffy and not too sweet and yummy fruits!“
“Delicious food at an incredible price. I highly recommend it for a special occasion, a romantic dinner, or even to get away to a quiet nicer dinner. I've been there three times for different event dinner events, each time my husband and I have not been disappointed. I love the brussels sprouts while my husband raved about the bone marrow appetizer. The salmon was on point and so was the Korean BBQ plate. The presentation is also well done. We look forward to our next dinning experience there.“

“I was looking for a cute, cosy classic LA date night restaurant when I found this place, and it was perfect. The outdoor seating area with the fairy lights and heaters was so cosy and attractive. The food was great- particularly the crab spaghetti which I just couldn't get enough of. Highly recommend for a date spot, I had a lovely evening.“

“Food was fast, fresh and tasty (great spicy shrimp wontons and pork dumplings, in particular!). Most of all, Kate's service was exceptional! Where it would have been expected (given the set up and staff) that her role would keep her behind the counter, she was proactive in all aspects of service, friendly, professional and personable. This is what service is all about! We will be back.“

“Just great. Ambiance, food and service - all hit the mark. I haven't posted in forever, but after spending the evening @ Sola, I just had to share - if you are looking for an authentic Japanese feeling, a place that you just want to be to stay and linger a bit, and then add a broad offering of varied and extremely tasty authentic dishes, look no further - this is it. I hope to be back soon...“
