“This place saved us driving back from Camp Tawonga with a grumpy toddler. The fro yo hit the spot, the bathroom was used by all members of the family, and the play area was sooooo appreciated. Plus, it's in the same shopping plaza as a huge antique store. I want to come back next time I'm on this route.“

“So the credit card machines weren't working. I waited for them to restart. After 10 minutes of two employees trying to get it to work I thanked them and was going to leave. They offered me 3 cookies for my inconvenience. It made my day. It was my wife's birthday and everything was great from that point. Thank you.“

“This is a very cute ice cream shop and my kids loved the old school ice cream shoppe aesthetic when we visited. It was very packed and there was very limited seating, so as soon as you see an open table, I highly suggest you send someone over from your party to reserve it. They did get part of our order wrong, but as soon as we noticed and brought it back to the front counter, they swiftly exchanged it for the correct order. It is a bit on the expensive side, so be prepared to spend quite a bit more than you'd spend at cold stone or baskin robbins.“

As big as Modesto has gotten, when you step into the Velvet, Modesto feels like a small town again where strangers greet you with hello and you're guaranteed to bump into someone you know. They have great flavors, an easy to customize, systematic approach to ordering, super yummy icecream and shakes (including some of my favorite hard-to-find flavors, like halo-halo and ube) and they have the best staff. All the employees are really nice, know the product, can make recommendations and are polite. The shop is cute, has good art and is well designed. They update and display their specials on wall posters which is fun for trying new drinks. They also run frequent promotions. Love this place! Plus they almost never mess up an order! “Delightful sandwich shop in Downtown Oakdale. Easy to spot from the street. It was a warm day or else we would have enjoyed out sandwiches on their nice patio. All of the flavors they have on rotation are delicious and they have like every topping available to choose from! I also love that they have a rewards program! “My experiences here are always great. Today I walked in earlier than my order “ready by” time and it was being worked on. I didn’t wait long while my order was packed and while I waited I enjoyed checking out the business card section, even left a couple of my own. I’ve come alone, with my husband and even with my kids a couple of times and each time it’s a peaceful environment. The employee that helped me today was kind and respectful, just as any time before. “I decided to stop by yogurt mill during my lunch break to get a little something before going back to work. I was craving two things, I wanted a shake, but I also wanted a cup of their salted caramel pretzel yogurt. I was talking to the lead on shift. Natalie and I told her that I wanted both. Right away she had the idea of making me a cold brew shake with the salted caramel pretzel flavor yogurt, and oh my goodness it was amazing, she gave me everything I needed. Her customer service was incredible. Her friendliness and compassion towards not only me, but other customers was felt. Not only was she able to provide me with an amazing shake., she also provided me with an even more amazing experience and I will definitely be going back!“

I got helped by someone named Jenna and I just have to say she was the sweetest person I’ve ever met. She made me feel welcomed and made sure my time there was great. “We wanted to try paletas, so we tried this location. Our first visit the gentleman was so friendly & helpful. He had great suggestions & knowledge of all the flavors. We ordered 4/5, the Oreo was delicious!! All were yummy! So we went back again, got 6. The lady was nice. We felt bad having to keep asking what flavors were what. My only suggestion is to have a list of the flavors so we can see/read what each is. We love their choc. bananas & paletas, and we love to help a small business! We will be back! Our favs are Oreo, and water based strawberry, and the pecan cream one.“

“What a feeling of nostalgia! As a kid, I remember stopping by Orange Julius during a visit to the local mall for their delicious frothy drink. I was telling my youngest daughter about it just last week, then lo and behold....we run in to an Orange Julius at the mall! She had never tried it before so I was excited to have her try it for the first time. She didn't understand all of the hype until she took her first, long sip of pure joy. Her face lit up light Christmas morning. What an experience! The original flavor is just like I remember. The price, however, has gone up significantly. $7 for a medium size drink, but it was totally worth it.“

It was very quiet and didn't seem like a busy place whatsoever. Definitely worth the visit as it was somewhere to enjoy on a peaceful morning alone or with friends. Location is kinda on the edge of dale road where theres not a LOT of traffic but there is a few cars going at higher speeds so be careful. Cupcakes were very moist and enjoyable, coffee seemed great but lacked a-little flavour. If you're looking to get gifts for an event this is the go to place.
