“Such a great experience at Menchie’s in Riverbank! 🍦💜
Sonny, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming! He took the time to answer all of our questions and made us feel right at home. You can really tell he cares about his customers and his store.
The shop was very clean, well organized, and fully stocked with an amazing variety of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings. There were so many delicious options to choose from that it was honestly hard to decide! 😋
My personal favorite was the pineapple sorbet absolutely delicious! 🍍 I can’t wait to come back and try even more flavors and toppings!!!
If you’re in Riverbank and looking for a fun place for a sweet treat, definitely stop by Menchie’s. Great selection, clean store, and friendly service! We’ll definitely be back! ❤“

“I had the tostilocos and they were really good“

“Great ice cream treat for all, always clean and friendly !“

“awesome time , great service. will definitely be a return customer“

“Just wanna say that to the employees that were working 12/31/22 you guys are excellent ! Even when you guys were busy and the angry Christian man came in sooo Christian like yelling and cussing at you guys for politely asking the homeless person to leave. You employees were very professional and handled it very well.Just wanna say to that “passionate God-like” man, how about instead of taking it out on the cold stone employees, you use that energy at the next riverbank council meeting? Or instead Of handing someone $20 to pay for overpriced ice cream TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL GOOD, you should’ve bought that woman a hotel room since you were so worried about her being in the rain. Just a thought.“

“My daughter really wanted a pink cup so the owner took the one out of the window and cleaned it for her to have. Great customer service ❤️“

“I highly recommend King Cones. Only homemade ice cream in Modesto. And the waffle cones are made in house.“

“delicious food, amazing hidden gem you almost want to keep hidden, but they’re too good! gotta share“

“I was having a strong pregnancy craving for froyo and found Supermoms was only 7 minutes away so had to give it a try! I must say, the BEST experience I've had at a drivethru and Angela is and amazing!! The froyo was delicious and the sausage egg and cheese sandwich is great too. We will 100% be back for more. Highly recommend!“

“Great tradition for families treats. Food for everyone and delicious homemade ice cream!“

“The almond butter milkshakes were amazing! Will be coming again and the service was great!👍🏼“

“If you’re looking for the best coffee and ice cream in Ceres, this is the absolute spot. I stopped by for an iced latte and a couple of scoops of their hand-scooped ice cream, and both were incredible. It’s so hard to find a place in the Central Valley that does both high-quality espresso and premium desserts under one roof. The staff is super friendly, and the shop is a great addition to the Ceres community. Perfect for a quick caffeine fix or a weekend treat with the family!“

“Love the Turlock local, I bring my grandchildren after school they love the ‘game room’“

“If your name is Andres C and you ordered a large order on March 31 2026 - your order came to my house. The Door Dash Driver delivered your order to me and then came back to my house 8 mins later and asked for the food, because he realized he delivered to the wrong house. No I didn't open the containers, but I did put the ice cream in the freezer immediately cause I didn't know what to do with this. He did get the items back, not sure if you even got the order either; cause I never got my actual order. Still fighting with Door Dash for a refund for my order, that I never got. :-( Hope your night went better. ***Just based off the label on the Crumbl boxes**“

“My wife and I stopped by on our way back from pine crest . I had the killin me smalls . Best ice cream I’ve ever had !! Very nice and spacious all around, and restrooms were squeaky clean . Yes I judge places by how clean they keep their restrooms . Also , excellent customer service. We will be back .“

“So good Good size serving actually some things are super big bigger than the picture lol we have churroloko and platanos Fritos...very nice Girl serving I'm guessing is a family business loved the team work ...And THE MENU DISPLAY AS LA LOTERIA IS VERY ORIGINAL.“

“Everything is great perfect“

“Love the Turlock local, I bring my grandchildren after school they love the ‘game room’“

“Mangonada was absolutely delicious, mangos are my favorite fruit and there was so much delicious mango on the top mixed with the chamoy; as you eat through it, you eventually get to the sweet and cool mango ice cream in the center. All the ice cream looked amazing, displayed neatly in the freezer, I got the guava popsicle because I couldn't pass up the pops. It was mixed with lots of pieces of real guava that made it amazing, I can't wait to try more ice cream pops from this nifty little shop!“

“If you’ve been to a cold stone, then you know what you’re getting. They actually have tons of choices and I like the combinations that they put together. The service at this cold stone was very good, it was very clean in there and the ice cream was delicious.“

“Cold Stone Creamery never fails to deliver when I’m in the mood for something indulgent. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the sweet aroma of freshly mixed waffle cones and the cheerful hum of the staff behind the counter. It’s a fun, upbeat environment that always lifts your mood. Their display of ice cream mix-ins is colorful and inviting—everything from brownies and cookie dough to fruit and candy.
I ordered their “Birthday Cake Remix” and it was just as rich and delicious as I remembered. The ice cream was smooth and creamy, and the mix-ins were fresh and well-balanced. Watching the staff mix it all together on the cold granite slab is part of the fun—there’s a bit of a performance to it that makes the visit feel special. My kids love seeing their creations come to life.
Customer service was friendly and helpful. The young man behind the counter offered helpful suggestions when I was undecided and was patient as my kids debated their toppings. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their time there, both staff and customers. The vibe was welcoming, and the team was clearly trying to keep the energy positive and upbeat.
That said, there’s a reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five. The prices are definitely on the high side, especially for families. A couple of ice cream cups and cones with mix-ins can quickly run up the bill. I don’t mind paying more for quality, but it does make it more of a special-occasion treat than a regular stop.
Another small issue was the cleanliness of the seating area. While the counter and prep area were spotless, a few of the tables hadn’t been wiped down and the trash bin was starting to overflow. It wasn’t a major deal, but it stood out a bit given the otherwise polished presentation. A little more attention to detail here would have bumped the experience up a notch.
Despite those small drawbacks, the quality of the ice cream and the fun atmosphere make Cold Stone a winner. They offer so many customizable options, so there’s really something for everyone. Whether you're a fan of classic vanilla or want to go wild with mix-ins and flavors, Cold Stone gives you room to be creative.
Overall, I’d absolutely come back. Cold Stone Creamery is a great place to treat yourself or celebrate something small with the family. I may not give it a full five stars this time, but it’s still one of our favorite ice cream spots. Looking forward to our next visit—and maybe trying a new flavor combo!“

“Love the Turlock local, I bring my grandchildren after school they love the ‘game room’“

“The outside was definitely a little iffy with sketchy looking ppl walking around but the donuts are WORTH IT! The guy behind the counter was nice and the prices were pretty solid. We’ve always passed by this shop mainly because the outside but today we tried and it was great, definitely worth trying it out ✌🏼
Need to come back to try out the chicken bowls!“

“The owner was so kind and they had mango and pineapple dope whip flavors which were hella good. They also had hella toppings to choose from like hardshell chocolate and the option to put the frozen yogurt on top of sugar and waffle cones. “Great customer service, I definitely come back Again“

“Very friendly place. Inside is well kept. Clean floors. Clean tables. Ice cream was delicious. Honestly more people should come and visit.

Kid-friendliness: Owner is very kind. Big space for kids to walk around and play if they wanted too. Lots of ice cream treats for kids too.“

“It was really great, I went there last month, and got some ice cream for helping clean up the mall and I was pushing in the chairs and picking up the trash there and they saw me and offered me some ice cream for helping the out as well as the other people there at the mall as well. So I went with it and got some pictures of the place and that was that. I didn't actually eat there but next time I will. So I just wanna say thank you to the owner/manager for creating an establishment where people can come to eat, drink, socialize, and really experience the place for themselves. And thank you to the employees that work there for serving us ice cream and milkshakes and showing us some hospitality around the place. So until next time have a great day and a great week.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽“

“This place never misses. The ice cream and paletas are always 🔥 and there are way too many good options, so I usually stand there way longer than necessary trying to decide.

Maria is the real MVP here. Her attitude is always on point — super friendly, positive, and she genuinely goes above and beyond for customers. She makes the whole experience better just by being herself, and you can tell she enjoys what she does. Bonus points for the great energy and good vibes she brings to the shop.

If you want great ice cream and service that actually makes you want to come back, this is the spot. Highly recommend.“
