Great family friendly local cafe with diverse menu (many home made items) and both children's and seniors menus too. Free Wi-Fi and just across the street from Lake Wohlford if you want to take a hike or fish before or after your meal. Happy hour specials too Thurs-Fri 2-5pm.
Family owned and right by the Lake!We didn't visit the lake, but we were coming from Safari Park, which was only a 15 min drive up the winding roads. Great place to visit after a busy morning to sit down here!Parking is easy, just pull right up, it's on the left side across the Lake.We were greeted and seated right away, this was about 1pm on Sunday, not crowded but did pick up when we left. I stopped in for the all you can eat catfish that was recommended by a local. I'm glad that I took his advice. I'm from Eastern NC so I know catfish. We eat it regularly. I can confidently say that this is the best catfish I've ever eaten. It isn't beer batters but instead they use a light cornmeal dusting that becomes perfectly crunchy, combine that with the moist clean white catfish inside and I can promise you that you will remember it for the rest of your life.
