The best catering. Everything was amazing.
Our college baseball team came in for lunch with 25 people and the staff handled it perfectly! The bbq food was delicious and the bbq sauce was amazing. We will definitely be back when we come up this way again. Highly recommend Porter Street Barbeque!
Always great food, and service. I was dining in one day, and a very posh vegetarian lady at a nearby table was gripping about her salad. It didn't have enough veggies. I thought you're at a BBQ place in a small town. Also they have more veggies than I've seen in most vegetarian friendly restaurants.

Porter Street BBQ serves large, meaty sandwiches, with the tri tip sandwiches being a highlight. The small Tri-tip bbq sandwich contains at least a 1/2# of meat. The BBQ sauce is tempting, though some note it has changed over the years. Other menu items include pulled pork, beef rib, tri beef, and the heart attack sandwich. Chowder soup is also available. Sides like potato salad are great, while Cole slaw and macaroni salad are so so. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, even when the store is busy. The restaurant is a little pricey, but the food is worth every penny. Many customers recommend trying the sandwiches and ribs, with some returning after many years to find the food still awesome.
