At Carl's Jr., service is usually excellent, even late at night. Shakes are great and the zucchini fries are fire. Burgers are delicious and match what appears on the menu. Some customers find the fries soggy or cold, and a burger may taste like it has been sitting out. The El Diablo Burger is noted for its high spice level and jalapeños. Brewers and soda come out okay, but powerade can be out. Service is often great, but hygiene inside could be better. Overall, the restaurant is hit or miss, with many positive experiences but occasional disappointments.
