“The burrito is amazing. My 7 year olds quesadillas that she ordered was probably the best cheese quesadilla I’ve ever had. The owners are very nice, and while the prices are a little higher than what I planned to spend on dinner, i took one bite and knew it was worth it. $40 for a family of 3 isn’t bad though. You have to pay for chips but they are really good.“

“This was my first time here since it changed ownership. The special fish Taco was delicious, it's not on the menu, but you can ask for fish grilled tacos. The Baja Taco was ok. We had to wait a bit at lunchtime, it wasn't crowded but I tried to order ahead, and the message stated it was busy.“

“We got a few things today and they were all delicious! I got some carnitas tacos and the carnitas had a great flavor! My dad got the seafood cocktail and some Cabeza tacos and they were all fresh and delicious. The rice was a little lacking on flavor. But I understand you have to keep the sodium down for certain diet types.
We also got some cheese enchiladas to take home for my mom
And she said there were delicious too!!
Overall we would come again for sure!“

“So myself and my wife wanted some fresh authentic Mexican food and thought let's try the little shop by McDonald's.. Man was it fire!! Their Carnitas are amazing and the fact they will let you sub for whatever type of meat you want is awesome.. Please know I am very VERY picky about my Carnitas and if I say its good its GOOOOD!!! We will be back since its close to home and the customer service was very family like!!“

“We recently had the pleasure of working with Taqueria Mi Mezcal in Fairfield for a team-building event catering for 35 people, and once again, they exceeded our expectations!
Their taco spread was a hit with everyone. Guests enjoyed building their own tacos or opting for delicious nachos with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu included juicy asada, tender chicken, and flavorful shrimp, accompanied by four incredible salsas: green, red, pico de gallo, and a tomato-based salsa. The trimmings—lettuce and their special sauce—added the perfect finishing touch.
The food was absolutely delicious, and we received tons of compliments from attendees. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the freshness of the ingredients to the seamless delivery process. They arrived on time, helped set everything up, and ensured it was ready to serve. We requested for the refried beans to not have chorizo for our vegan participants.
This wasn’t our first time working with Taqueria Mi Mezcal, and it certainly won’t be our last. Their exceptional customer service, punctuality, and consistently outstanding food make them a go-to choice for any event.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for flavorful catering with a team that truly cares about quality and service!“

“Haven't been here before even though we eat in this strip mall all the time. My teenager has and picked it today and I got to say he made a good choice.
The food was really good and the portions were, very large. Great value for the money. Had the nachos, burrito and a crispy taco and all were excellent. My teenager finished off a super burrito and a good portion of the nachos. With the taco, nachos and burrito I ultimately had to call it quits with about a quarter burrito to go.
This is a great choice and we'll be going back.“

“As of this review October 2025, they say all their beans are vegan, so I was able to choose between whole black, whole pinto, or refried. Besides that, it's a familiar experience for anyone who's had Cali-mex, but in my opinion it's better than average with free chips and nice salsas, less greasy than normal while still being tasty, very affordable, and friendly people.“

“Good little local spot. Popped in just to grab some quick tacos and was not disappointed! House made tortillas were very fresh and high quality. Pastor meat was tender, although a bit oily (pastor can just be that way sometimes though). Will recommend and come back for sure!“

“This is hands down one of thee best places for tacos in Solano county. Chef Chepe and his staff are always on point. The food is fresh, and full of flavor. I've tried the tamales, burritos and some of their specials but the tacos are a 12/10 everytime!“

“I don't know why no one has mentioned this place before but they have one of the best by burritos I have ever had.
It's an honest burrito with a lot of meat, not just a load of beans and rice.

“It's hard to get too excited about Mexican food because there are a lot of good places in California. BUT this place is different! The spices that they are use are something special. I have only been there twice since I just found out about it, but man it has me thinking about it when I am not there! Do yourself a favor, and just TRY IT. You will find yourself writing a review like this haha.“
