“Dinner on 02/06. Had Brandon as my waiter. He was on top of it! Refills on drinks without asking, checking in on our tables 6 or 7 times! Food was fantastic. I used to go to the Hana in the Newport shopping center, but with his attentiveness, this is now my go to sushi “
“Our whole family absolutely loves coming here whenever we get a chance for a special occasion. The family that runs it are awesome and so helpful and friendly to us every time! Teppanyaki is my favorite style food and the chefs never disappoint! My son chose to come here for his birthday outing because it is his favorite restaurant. We can not wait to be back Kid-friendliness: We have four kids and our youngest is only two and they are always so accommodating with high chairs and boosters“
“Previously Hana Sushi, this is my go-to when I'm in the mood for tempura, sushi, or salmon. The food is prepared in generous portions and just simply delicious. The place is spacious and not usually crowded for the times I've been here. When a staff member made a mistake, they admitted fault and were very apologetic. Not a big deal. They're always friendly and accommodating.“
“My friends and I stopped at this small sushi restaurant after a long day in the sun visiting the avocado festival. We were a bit confused at first since there was no one inside but then a voice in the back welcomed us in. We were seated by a friendly waitress who was both funny and helpful. And while we figured out what to order, she surprised us with shrimp tempura on the house!One of my friends is vegan and the waitress was extremely sweet about helping her out, she pointed out all the items that would fit her dietary guidelines and gave suggestions for what might taste good. For my own order, I chose the three items bento box which came with miso soup, rice, and salad. For the items, I picked the spicy tuna, sushi, and sashimi. My other friends ordered a variety of sushi rolls and bento boxes.The food did take a while to be prepared, though this could be caused by the restaurant being a small establishment and there’s only one sushi chef. If you do come to visit, please be patient since everything is made to order. Once everything came out, I was pleasantly surprised by how large the portion sizes were. Both the sushi and sashimi were large cuts of fish and they were very generous with the amount. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, I enjoyed my bento box. The only thing I wasn’t the biggest fan of was the salad dressing, I’m not sure what the flavor was but it’s not my cup of tea. Overall, this restaurant is worth a visit if you are in the Fallbrook area, the staff were amazing and we had a great time!“
