“Visiting from LA and I would drive down here again just for the sushi. Been eating sushi all my life and the quality and taste of the fish is a 10. Additionally, the Fantasy Roll is, by far, the BEST roll I've had in my life. The Tempura wasn't my favorite, but it was by no means bad.“
“Bento place run by a real Japanese fellow (and a real nice one, to boot). They know how to make proper sushi rice. Their selection is limited, and if you aren't there at opening, you run the risk of them having run out of your favorite thing.“
“Not only is your food so fun and great, but your staff is amazing. Big shout outs to the honest staff from Saturday night who saved my daughter's special diamond bracelet that she left on the counter when she was eating shabu shabu. I appreciate you guys so much!! Management, you are so blessed to have the honest team you do. Thank you guys, so much.“
“Food was great and the female wait staff were so nice but the male kitchen staff made my friend and I quite uncomfortable with so much staring at one point it seemed all of them were out in the front and were staring so much. No hate to the restaurant but i’d like to comment on it because this sort of stuff can be very uncomfortable for women I’m just trying to enjoy a meal and don’t want men staring for no reason.“

The interior design of the restaurant was modern and sleek, creating a calming ambiance. The menu at Mot'to Japanese Grill offers a variety of traditional Japanese dishes as well as some unique and creative twists. “Hit theeee SPOT! I've been craving sushi & after 3 different places this week I was still searching. Last night my husband and I got the teriyaki combo plate and I had the Carlsbad Lagoon. That roll is phenomenal! The mixture of lime, cilantro & fish ?.. OMG!“
“Positives:All the American style rolls were very good. The Sashimi Deluxe was also very good; came fresh and in pretty large slices. The Garlic Edamame was very good and everyone at the table enjoyed it.Great Atmosphere and quick serviceCons:Had the absolute worst Old Fashioned I've ever had in my life. I recommend sticking to the beer and wine menu.“
“It was my first time here and I just want to say that the staff was amazing the sushi rules were very well put together taste very wonderful and they had a very fast service I have to admit I was in love. Like I said it was out of the blue and I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good place for sushi!“
“Being someone who loves sushi, this is definitely a great place to stop. My friend had talked about Rolled Up and wanted to introduce it to us. I walked around Windmill Food Court and decided that I was wanting to try some sushi. I had never tried a Sushi Burrito before and have heard a great deal of good things about it. I ended up going with The Works Sushi Burrito, and man was it delicious. Loved the great selection of fish, tempura, and vegetables that made up the inside of the burrito. High quality ingredients. My burrito took about 15/20 minutes to be made, whilst others in my group only waited for about 5. It was fantastic, but for $20 I would say it definitely is an expensive meal. If you are willing to shell out the $20 I would definitely say it's worth a try!“
“J Box @ The Island is by far my favorite lunch spot. I come here at least 1-2 times per week. They have the freshest Poke around. They really ruined all the other Poke places for me because every time I try one - I always compare it to theirs and it is never as good.“
“Absolutely loved this sushi restaurant! I got the double salmon tempura roll, and the baked salmon roll and they were both absolutely delicious.Service was great and they got a 30% off happy hour from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM each day which is awesome.“
“Food was great! I love ramen and this spot is one of the best I've had! We got the Gonzo black and the tonkatsu along with some takoyaki. The Takoyaki was average, but the ramen was superb! The broth was rich and was very flavorful. The staff was really nice and the food came out quickly as well. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by again!“
