“We absolutely love this place for Ramen. I do wish the outdoor ambience was a little better. But there’s not much I can do about that being at all shopping complex. But all we really care about is the food when it comes down to it. And the Ramen is absolutely delicious. My daughter asks on a daily basis to eat here.“

“Best ramen in town! The broth is incredibly rich and flavorful, and the noodles have the perfect texture. I highly recommend the Spicy Tonkotsu—it has just the right amount of kick. Quick service and cozy atmosphere. A must-visit for any ramen lover in San Diego!“

“This ramen was better than some fancy places I've been disappointed at. Good broth and noodles and egg. Solid flavors. What would make it better for all is if you could customize the veggies that go in it, to leave stuff out for picky eaters. They said no to that unless its allergies, but like come on. Lots of tabled and chairs for the fam. One improvement would be having single serving packets of like flavor stuff. Chili oil, chili powder, salt, pepper, something, would make it way better. And ramen broth spoons rather than spoon spoons. The orange chicken and rice was really good too. We eat it up. And good red ginger in it.“

I would say TenGu is just as good as any ramen place down in Convoy. Super authentic and family run! Go support them!“

“Stopped here randomly after driving by. Small restaurant that really surprised me with its quality of food and generous portions. Had a poke bowl and a spicy tuna roll both had ingredients that were very fresh. The service was great too. Food came out relatively quickly especially considering there were only two people working.“

“The food is crazy good. I got the Garden Party Ramen with a side of potstickers and a dragon fruit drink, and it was all so so SO good. Honestly, I just got back from a place in Irvine that was (literally) twice as expensive with smaller portions and it wasn't even half as good as Haru Mama.
At $14 to $15 a bowl (large portions, I couldn't even finish it in one sitting) it is totally worth it.“
