“Food is really good here. We didn't wait at all on Thursday around 7pm. The service was good. The servers were very nice. The food was really good as well. We had Edamame, Gyoza, Karaage, Tonkatsu ramen, and a CA roll. Only thing to complain about is having more broth to the ramen. I love broth. But the atmosphere is where I complain. It is COLD in there. Bring a jacket! Also, there is absolutely no phone service in here. I wished they had some sort of guest WIFI.“

“Absolutely Incredible Food! Makes me wish I was a local! My wife and I checked this place out as we were visiting San Diego for the Muse concert and I’m very very happy I came across this genuine sushi restaurant!
The staff is very welcoming and friendly! Clean inside with a great vibe and tunes they play!

I would definitely recommend trying the baked salmon roll, special kaiyo roll and the Yum Yum roll!

“The food was delicious overall, especially the grilled meat—it was definitely the highlight of the meal! The meat was incredibly tender and smooth, with a rich, natural beef flavor that really stood out.
The Tonkotsu ramen was also very good. The broth was flavorful and delicious, and the pork was tender, juicy, and not chewy at all.
However, the service could definitely be improved. The service felt a bit unorganized, and the staff didn’t seem to pay much attention to the customers. We had to keep calling someone over whenever we needed something.
Overall, the food was great, but the service experience could have been much better.“

“The ramen is delicious, but if you're thinking of adding on broccolini skip it. They charge $1 for literally the smallest piece I've ever seen and when I called to voice my concern about feeling ripped off, they didn't care. I feel like if you're paying $20 for a bowl of ramen you should get what you pay for“

“Esteban made our trip to San Diego complete, great service, great jokes, great recs. Food was inspired and different for a Florida snot like myself. Pair this happy hour with other happy hours and you are in serious business! This guy only works 3 days a week, but he should work 11.5! Extend the week for Esteban!“

“Covid-19 take out can be a hit or miss with food tasting like it's container. This place did not disappoint. I ordered the Vegan Ramen for a late lunch. Inside the restaurant is following proper protocol and is very clean. I have always ordered Vegan Ramen anywhere I visit outside of California, and have ordered all over San Diego. This by far is the BEST Vegan Ramen out there. The coconut milk, chili and miso broth is well balanced and buttery, the noodles and added ingredients are well proportioned, the tofu is not at all mushy or greasy..The noodles are fresh and delicious. for a couple dollars more you can add more noodles.. Definitely a stop for some comfort food!“

“Been a minute since we have eaten at Silverlake Ramen. Ordered the Ramen Combo - Tonkotsu Ramen with grilled chicken and a side of gyoza (4 pieces). We also ordered a side of edamame. Washed it down with a cold glass of Sapporo. The Ramen was perfect in its miso soup. The Thousands Island-Aioli sauce (that’s what it tasted like) had a nice lil kick for the gyoza. Edamame was a good starter as usual. Service was okay. Domo arigato gozare masu.“

“It is my favorite ramen place, I always come here to socialize with friends, and I love how spacious it is. Even on a busy day it doesn't feel cramped up. Their food is excellent, both ramen and sushi.“

“Honestly, one of the best value all-you-can-eat sushi spots in the College Area. A lot of AYCE places try to fill you up on huge balls of cold rice with paper-thin fish, but Sushi Factory actually gives you solid portions.
The salmon and yellowtail nigiri were super fresh and buttery—no weird fishy taste or mushy texture. The escolar was really good too. For the rolls, they don't completely drown everything in spicy mayo or sweet sauce, so you can actually taste the fish.
Service was surprisingly fast. We did three rounds and the staff brought everything out quickly without 'forgetting' items to slow us down.
It's in a strip mall on El Cajon Blvd so parking can be a little tight during peak dinner hours, but for the price and quality, it definitely hits the spot. Will definitely be back.“
