“The food here makes my eyes roll back in my head and makes me moan while I eat it. It’s bonkers how good everything is. Bagels and pizza and seasonal items are off the charts. And the staff are lovely. Don’t hesitate! You will love it. The farmers market is a favorite of mine. Pizzas are off the hook too. And I love the golden milk from the coffee stand! The only complaint is I want them to be open longer!“

“My friend and I were so stoked to stumble across this place. It is a true diamond in an unassuming place. The food was authentic and so delicious. We ordered the papaya salad, pad see ew and yellow curry. They were all amazing. We spent a little time talking to the owners who were delightful! If you want an authentic Thai meal with lovely service then you must visit!“

“There were plenty of open tables available, yet we were seated at one that hadn’t been cleaned. It was wiped down with a napkin only after we were already seated. Our food arrived before our drinks, and we had to request water after waiting for 20 minutes.“

“I recently got to visit chunks sandwiches for the first time since they redid the menu, and it does not disappoint. I ordered the turkey bacon and pesto sandwich, the Drayton, and the Reuben, and all three of them were delicious. The bread is soft, and the ingredients are high quality and delicious. The clam chowder is also really solid, and was a great side. The food came out piping hot, and the service was beyond kind. This is my favorite sandwich I’ve had in Santa Cruz, and is my new go to!

“One of the very few eateries nearly completely untouched by the passage of time for decades now on the East Side. They do one thing and they do it to perfection - serve up a variety of delicious, fresh bagels and toppings. The basic setting and limited menu may at first discourage some visitors looking for more elaborate choices, but everything they sell has been vetted by countless thousands of happy customers. I honestly think they stand alongside some of the most renowned bagel spots in NYC , Montreal and beyond, so it would be a crime not to stop in when you can :)“

“My favourite dining hall at UCSC! Nothing will beat the gorgeous view at the Cowell/Stevenson Dining Hall. I wish they had more halal options and a greater variety of food, but it does the job! Would highly recommend getting food here pre-sunset, and to bask in the view whilst sitting on the balcony - alone and with friends.“

“So we found out that this place changed menus about 3 months ago and decided to come check out their happy hour. And this place is amazing with really good food and super good service and the person that runs the bar Lindsay made a fantastic Maitai for me. They have an extensive menu and a really good selection of sake, wine and spirits. The fries are out of this world. The portions are decent and the food tastes amazing.“
