And that’s more breadsticks without asking. I found out today his only his second day but he’s working like he’s reached a flow state and this is what he truly wants to be doing. “I had lunch with a friend today and I wanted to try Soul Salad I was not disappointed. Fresh, flavorful and the customer service was top notch The owner offered to make me something special: he grilled me sesame crusted tofu and put it on the Wasabi salad. That was so cool and I appreciated it too. btw it was delicious I ate every bite I was also able to customize a salad for my husband. Thank you Team Soul Salad for an amazing lunch 🥰🙏🏻🥗“

“As a vegan believe it or not I struggle to have variety in Santa Cruz, the options are limited. Today I visited this European interior (like a Scandinavian cafe) amazing eatery n downtown Santa Cruz. The man that assisted me was extremely hospitable and helped navigate the vegan menu he offered me. The falafel had incredibly bright flavors and not only the first few bites but all the way through. The mango matcha was too die for and you guessed it vegan as well. Please visit this impressive place whether vegan or not“

“This is our GO TO Thai place! While we haven't eaten in-house, we order pick up from them all the time. The food is DELICIOUS, always hot and fresh and flavorful. It's so clear the owners are passionate about providing quality meals, and every single time I order a vegetarian pad see ew, they always make sure to ask if egg is okay to include (while I'm not vegan, it's still a thoughtful question). Definitely get your Thai food from this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!“

“My husband and I decided to check out the restaurant for lunch and it exceeded our expectations. We order the empanadas as a starter and they were absolutely delicious. The tocos we ordered were so yummy. They had such flavor, texture had depth. The wait staff were wonderful; professional, responsive, and always attending to our needs. We can't wait to return.“

“I enjoy coming here for many reasons. They have sprouts! Their bagle with Hummus, sprouts & tomato is delicious, they remember my order & name when I walk in (who doesn't enjoy feeling special), all the employees are just great. “My favourite dining hall at UCSC! Nothing will beat the gorgeous view at the Cowell/Stevenson Dining Hall. I wish they had more halal options and a greater variety of food, but it does the job! Would highly recommend getting food here pre-sunset, and to bask in the view whilst sitting on the balcony - alone and with friends.“

“Very happy we tried this place. Friendly staff and great service. A good bagel lox/gravlax/smoked salmon and cream cheese combo is one of my favorite breakfast foods and La Marea did not disappoint with the Scandi. One of the best I’ve had. The crunch of the sourdough bagel (with caraway dill) really brought it home. The pistachio latte was a perfect balance of flavor and not overly sweet like you get at a ⭐🦌. I may need to grab a slice of their pizza before we head out.“
