“GUYSSSSSS after being abandoned by the universe and vehicular misfortune, Olive herself, the god of the garden, extended her arms of fettuccine warmly by providing the most decadent of feasts i’ve ever laid my mouth on. the breadsticks were as warm as a hug i wish my mother would give me and the Alfredo sauce dripped down my gullet with gusto by the ancient italian spirit. we took refuge in the care of our most beloved waiter, jose, who offered us refills a plenty of our delicious raspberry lemonade, soup, and breadstick. #highlyrecomend“

“I had lunch with a friend today and I wanted to try Soul Salad I was not disappointed. Fresh, flavorful and the customer service was top notch The owner offered to make me something special: he grilled me sesame crusted tofu and put it on the Wasabi salad. That was so cool and I appreciated it too. btw it was delicious I ate every bite I was also able to customize a salad for my husband. Thank you Team Soul Salad for an amazing lunch 🥰🙏🏻🥗“

“Somehow one of the most perfect falafel sandwiches. Fluffy pita is house-made, plump filled with freshly chopped purple cabbage, a few pink pickled onions, freshly fried falafel that’s bright green inside. And both the creamy and mildly spicy sauce.“

“The kindest owners and chefs ever, used to go here as a freshman in college and shared stories with the eager owners. They'd create such a welcoming space and on-the-house freebies like desserts. Its such an underrated gem, hole in the wall spot. Please support local families! They'll feed you not only amazing food, but love too.“

“My husband and I decided to check out the restaurant for lunch and it exceeded our expectations. We order the empanadas as a starter and they were absolutely delicious. The tocos we ordered were so yummy. They had such flavor, texture had depth. The wait staff were wonderful; professional, responsive, and always attending to our needs. We can't wait to return.“

“I enjoy coming here for many reasons. They have sprouts! Their bagle with Hummus, sprouts & tomato is delicious, they remember my order & name when I walk in (who doesn't enjoy feeling special), all the employees are just great. “My favourite dining hall at UCSC! Nothing will beat the gorgeous view at the Cowell/Stevenson Dining Hall. I wish they had more halal options and a greater variety of food, but it does the job! Would highly recommend getting food here pre-sunset, and to bask in the view whilst sitting on the balcony - alone and with friends.“

“Wow what an adorable little gem! I ordered the Jalapeno Cheddar Breakfast Bagel and omg, this just might have been the best bagel I've ever had. I've had Jersey & NY bagels but this really stood out. It was so incredibly chewy and soft in the middle and perfectly crisp on the outside. The flavor of the melted cheddar, pops of jalapeno and a subtle tang from the sourdough were incredible. The staff were very friendly & my food came out rather fast given the crowd. Couldn't recommend this place enough if you're in the area!“
