“We are new to the area and decided to try Deli Delicious and we liked it so much we have already been back 3 times. The quality of the sandwiches is really good! We love the bread (especially the dutch crunch) and the sandwiches always look as amazing as they taste. We have had nothing but good quality sandwiches every single time. I also find the staff working there to be really friendly! Today there was a gentleman with glasses and a long ponytail that was so kind! We will of course be back for many more subs!“

“I don’t feel that our waiter had good customer service skills. When I told him what I wanted, I asked if there was an extra charge for egg whites only. He said no, so I said “Egg whites only“ and then he asked “Anything else?”without giving me my choices of meats, toast or pancakes, etc. So I had to prompt him on that. And then a waitress came by and told me that I was only going to get two chicken apple sausages rather than three, but I only ended up getting one.“
“A warm and welcoming restaurant a short walk from the main drag in Carmel. The menu changes each time we visit and tends to be more innovative with seasonal fish, cross cultural influences and less used cuts and types of meat. It’s a contrast from other local restaurants as while other restaurants work to emulate various European cuisines this restaurant is just itself. The exposed brick and cozy interior create an intimate experience and compliments the meal. Personally we make a point of coming to this restaurant every time we are in Carmel because during a holiday weekend in the pandemic they sat us and stayed late when no one else in town would serve us. Will be back.“
“Stopped on out way home from Monterey. We got Chicken Fried steak with biscuits and gravy. You could cut the chicken fried steak with a fork and it was delicious. The biscuits were also very soft and gravy was perfect.We also got a grilled cheese and ham. Simple and yummy. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We will be back again.“

“This house wasn't here before, it was moved from somewhere else. It is said that there is a long queue every time we come, so we chose to come during non-dining time in the afternoon. The must-try seafood soup is very fresh and delicious, with a generous portion. The fried fish and pasta we ordered were also delicious. If you are not full, there are cheap bagels nearby to fill your stomach, but it is not necessary. The portions of the meals are large, and even Asians may not be able to finish them all. That's right.“

“What a fantastic restaurant! The food was outstanding very authentic Italian. I saw dishes on the menu I have not seen since my last trip to Italy. The waitstaff was excellent really knew the food, how it was prepared, the best wine to drink to complement each course. The restaurant is quaint but not easy to find. It is behind (not beside) the Cottage of Sweets on Ocean. Wander back behind the Sweet Shop and head down the alley and it leads you to the restaurant in a very charming courtyard. I am a resident of Carmel and never knew it existed, so happy I found this restaurant!!“

“It's hard to get great coffee anywhere in the world unless your in Italy, certain parts of France and a few other places. America is no exception. Most coffee is very average or at times worse. This is not the case at Tidal Coffee. The best coffee I have had in the three weeks I've been in California. Well worth a visit if your passionate about your coffee. At very reasonable prices. Also a very relaxing place with great views across the harbour and a nice outside seating area to sit in the sun.“
“I'm glad I waited on this review. I've been four times since they opened at the South Main location. 1st visit was years ago and was so disappointing I never went back. However my sister always raves about their beans and ribs and orders to go frequently. So I decided to give it another try. So happy I did. The service is friendly and prompt! The steaks and ribs have been great. The beans have been very good two of three times we've been back. And the blue cheese dressing is outstanding! It's the only place I will ear the entire iceberg salad! (Being from Salinas doesn't mean you have to love iceberg lettuce.) A small suggestion/request (from sis and me); put ketchup, and bbq sauce back on the table with a spicy option. And be a little more generous with the side of beans (at least more than a condiment size ramekin)! I think I would be more apt to drive from PG to dine there and my sis would frequent more for those two small changes! You have such limited staff and to see them running around to grab sauce and ketchup for most every table served in plastic waste is wrong and wasted time and energy for your staff.“
“We eat here all the time and they never miss. We’ve had Thai food at other places in and out of town and Krua Thai is by far the best. The have the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. We also love the Laab Kai, Spicy Eggplant, Spring Rolls, and the Sautéed Mixed Vegetables. The staff and owner are great people.“
“Ok, I don't know what's going on with the reviews of this place. They are all over the map. If I had read them before coming here I would have passed on this place and I'm glad we didn't! The food was AMAZING. My husband and I normally have to drive to San Jose for Ramen, but not anymore! We got the edamame with spicy garlic as an appetizer and they were definitely finger licking good. I don't even like edamame lol, and I ate those. For dinner we ordered the shrimp killer roll and the hi roll. Both were super good. We also both got Ramen. I got the garlic sesame and my husband got the miso. It was all fantastic. We are Ramen snobs, and we were both exceptionally happy with our meals. We will definitely be going back there. The staff was also super friendly, and the food came out really quick! I say give this place a chance. Can't wait to go again!“
