“Such a great place! My boyfriend and I came in at 8:50 on a random week night. I knew they closed at 9 and felt super bad. I asked the waitress if it was OK and of course she said yes. The food was fast and very good. BUT, the staff!!!! Omg, these 2 women were wonderful!! They were so nice. never made us feel rushed, were very attentive, had casual conversations and even hooked us up with a generous to go container for the super good salsa. Atmosphere and food were great, but the ladies really made it a great experience! Can't wait to go back!“

“Reasonably priced and local homestyle eats in a cozy setting right on Main Street. Fluffy and soft biscuits smothered in the perfect amount of just-peppery-enough sausage gravy, excellent bacon, and good coffee in a large cup with free refills. Friendly and attentive staff. Quick service.“

“I recently called simply to ask a question about there rum when I saw it again in a whole foods. I haven't shopped there for a long time, so it was a great surprise to find it. Abe was put on the phone, and what a great guy! He answered all the questions and even then some.For their spirits, I've been a fan of their rum for a while, it was just difficult for me to get ahold of. It has a very, very small amount of caramelized sugar added after distillation, and I'm normally a purist when it comes to my rum. He also mentioned they had a vodka that was MADE from sugar cane, which happened to be there too. All in all, I walked away with three bottles, expecting not to get any.Great products made by great people who are willing to take the time out of their day to discuss it with you!“

“We ate here a couple years ago and are planning a trip from Albany, OR to Santa Rosa with the steakhouse as a midpoint destination because we enjoyed it so much!

“First time ordering at peppers. I got the classic burger with cheese and curly fries. Smelled sooo good and tasted juicy and flavorful in each bite. Love the curly fries they where not greasy like other places I've tried. My order was to go so no idea on the service.“

“We arrived early, and I saw that they were having some issues with setting up tables for everybody which means in some ways that they were very busy and they needed to find more room. What I can say is is that once they seated us on our agreed to time that they were nothing but fabulous. The service was outstanding. I did not feel in the short time I've been here in Connecticut, which is four months and testing out many restaurants that the food was on the high level that I have seen from other places do not get me wrong. It might be the items that we requested so please do not use that as a negative to this place. I just said the employees there want to ensure a fantastic experience and it will not stop me from going back there again.“

“Haven’t eaten at this casino since before Covid but they always had great brunch so we decided to try dinner.\nOur server was Katie and she was absolutely Five Stars. Friendly, efficient and attentive without being intrusive. \nMy husband loved his ribeye steak dinner. I had the Bacon Wrapped Scallops-my take: bacon and scallops were both very undercooked imo. (Really should have sent it back but I didn’t, just removed the undercooked bacon) Also, wayyyyy too salty. The yellow squash was perfect with sun-dried tomatoes, yum. Not a bad meal by any stretch, maybe I’m picky. \nI do give River’s Edge a recommend. Good service and view.“

“Great food, and the people there are super nice! Also they have football on!! If you don’t know what to get get the Smokin Pulled Pork it is so good! Comes with coleslaw on the sandwich, and super moist pulled pork, all on a ciabatta bread served with a side of your choice; my choice is always tater tots“

“Hunan Village is better than ever these days! I ordered a few dishes to go and they were all piping hot, great quality, and most of all, delicious. Service at the front counter was very friendly - I was all around very pleased. I highly recommend the Chinese chicken salad and General's spicy chicken.“
