Back in December, my family was dining there when the owner came over and shared his story behind Riley’s, a tribute to a beloved Labrador who changed his life. He took the time to truly connect with us, and we left thinking, “Wow, this guy is different. He cares.” Fast forward seven months, and I reached out to him with a heartbreaking story about our extended family’s red fox lab, Wrigley, who we lost suddenly and tragically. I hoped he could do something small to honor Wrigley, but his response overwhelmed us. We’ve interacted with several staff members, all of whom were exceptionally nice—and yes, they all seem to be dog lovers! I even joked with one employee that it must be a job requirement. “I recently visit Prime Gyro and Grill, and I want to share my experience. The staff, Sayed and Mohammad, are very professional and respectful. They make you feel welcome and valued.

The food is excellent—both the taste and quality are remarkable. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, and it was wonderful! You can feel the freshness in every bite, and the flavors are truly amazing.

“This is some of the best pizza I've had in Folsom. We've been going to a new place every week so I've gotten a pretty good sampling after a few months of trying other people's favorites. The crust and sauce are on point. I'm not sure if the crust would be as good if you were doing take out but it's lovely in person. This is in my top two.“

“These are some of the best sandwiches I have had in the area! The bread is always nice and soft, all the ingredients are fresh and taste great. Then 2 for deal is insane. Small sub with a salad. Salads are huge and taste fantastic. I have a kid that would get the hot Bobbie every day if they could, she loves thanksgiving and this brings her joy. And if I am being honest I could probably eat at capriottis every day also. Only thing that's not great is the parking, but that's totally out of their hands, it's a new community and the restaurants located here are popular“

“The food was excellent and our server was awesome!

However, the gentleman who works at the front counter and the woman who sat us didn't seem like they were having a good evening. No, hello or how are you even after I asked them how they were doing. It almost made you feel as if you were a nuisance/annoyed they had to deal with speaking to you therefore it didn't feel welcoming at all. We were seated quickly as it was around 7pm on a Saturday and not overly busy.

Our server changed that non welcoming feeling. She immediately greeted us with a smile and was very friendly and helpful. I really wish I remembered her name but I hadn't planned on leaving a review until I got a yelp notification asking me to do so.

We will definitely be back because of the service she provided and all 3 of us in our party enjoyed our food. If the food hadn't been good and our server had been like the first two employees, we wouldn't be open to dining here again, so both of those things saved our experience.

“The food is great, nice flavor blends. It's not true Mexican, more Cal/Mex. Atmosphere is not bad. Their outdoor seating is the best of any Dos Coyotes as there is some wooded area there. Access from and to the freeway is easy, but a bit of a drive.
This was our first time at this Dos Coyotes. We were coming down the freeway and asked for the closest D.S. Access could not have been easier, except closer.“

At 3:30pm Panera had a wide selection available and I was able to pick up 3 dozen in flavors that would be liked by hungry high schoolers. The bagels were the following morning and a hit with everyone in attendance. Thanks Panera for coming to my bagel rescue!“

“So last night I was on doordash looking for restaurants in Folsom that were open and sounded good. I don't actually use doordash other than for inspiration and to see pictures/reviews. I noticed that there was a calzone place that was supposedly close by to where I live. This was strange to me as I didn't know there was a calzone place. It turns out, the pizza guys sell calzones through doordash but there is nothing on the website or in the store, that I noticed, so I asked in person if I could order one directly from them. They said yes! Look on doordash for the different flavors, but I got the Santa Cruz, which was like a Hawaiian pizza calzone. It came out hot and it was SO delicious! They are hiding these from you, so go get you one! You just need to ask.“

I work at the UPS store and they provided us with TWO catering trays AND two hundred coupons to put in our grab bags for our grand re opening. So kind. Not to mention I used to work at mr pickles and the sandwiches are yummy and they cut all the meat, cheese, and veggies daily.
