“Well we visited Foothill Ranch Round Table, we carried out, last night, ordered pizzas it was great taste and your service staff was attentive who gave us a Beverage drink on the house! While we waited we had a 3 year old and 7 year old grandsons and me the Grandma and my son and wife! Amazing staff courteous and friend! Would recommend to anyone this Foothill pizza as well because of the honor to our Guadalupe Treaty to Mexico and staff also speak Spanish! Love the United States and my Mexican Nationality! Thank you for embracing diversity, which makes USA the greatest place to live for me! My mother was born in USA and my Dad in Mexico. We are all humans in this world! Thank you“

“Had a nice evening at Dominicos on the lake this evening. My wife and I had reservations and were fortunate to ask Kory for a patio table which he accommodated. Michael took us to our table and was very kind and professional. Pedro came by with our bread and water and said hello. He is one of the hardest working individuals at the restaurant. Eddie our server came by and took our orders with a bottle of Austin Hope and bread to start. My wife ordered a chicken breast salad and I had the chef's special stroganoff which was amazing. Unfortunately my wife's salad came out 30 minutes after my stroganoff which was a cardinal sin in the restaurant business and we mentioned it was not acceptable. Eddie apologized and we also had Steven, the GM, come by and also apologize and ensure the salad would be out shortly. The salad was delivered, of course after I ate my entree and Steven dropped off and apologetic gift certificate for an appetizer during our next visit. We also ordered an additional beef stroganoff plus an order of meatballs to take home for tomorrow. We undertake things happen and it's certainly nice to see the restaurants busy again but a party of two receiving their entrees 30 minutes apart is not conducive with quality service. I am guessing the chef either misplaced the order or overlooked the obvious and we hope next time we will not have such issues as the restaurant is very good and in a fantastic location. Michael also came back around and stated he was concerned about this mishap and would look into this. As a retired government administrator and former restaurant manager in my college days I expect the simple things like entrees being delivered at the same time to be in sync with quality service and dining. We will be back and see if in fact this was an isolated incident. Good food and ambiance plus. “Great restaurant with a small, family feel. The food is amazing, and honestly at a steal of a price; the food is half as expensive and more than twice as delicious as other restaurants I've been to. I had the quatrro formaggio because I noticed gorgonzola on the ingredients list, and I loved every single bite! It was so nice to have a dish that put the gorgonzola flavor front-and-center, and the cream sauce was somehow light while still being packed full of flavor.
My wife had the lasagna, and it's easy to see why it's a favorite here. It cem out with the sauce still bubbling, and once she could dig in she described it as lightly sweet, a welcome change from some overly-acidic dishes at some other places.
The service was also impeccable, the staff was very friendly and welcoming and we felt very well attended-to. We came in about an hour or so before closing so there weren't many other customers, and we got our food impressively quickly.
Another note, if you are staying at any of the nearby hotels (specifically the row of hotels on Lake Center Drive) then this restaurant is extremely close, easily walkable if you want. It would make a convenient, delicious, and good-valued addition to your vacation.“

“This is possibly the best place ever. We got to meet the owner, Mike, who is so hardworking and welcoming! He even offered scissors to cut the pizza for our toddler son (who loved the toys he provides for kids! Such a smart idea) The employees all here were helpful in picking the right slices and they hustleeeeee. The pizza itself is freaking heaven: sourdough, anyone? The Korean potato pizza with vegetables is hands down my #1 favorite with their house made spicy ranch! You can taste and see the freshness of the ingredients. They also gracefully offer water bottles complimentary, their slices are HUGE (ask for double slicing if you have kids). This location is in a Grocery Outlet plaza and in the corner close to the cleaners. The inside ambiance is BANGING- everything is so cool-looking, with the lights and the nostalgic Ms. PAC-Man arcade game. Wow, wow, wow. We will 100% be back… over and over.“

“We have recently moved into the area and heard about 7 Hills from our new neighbors. We decided to try it. We arrived about 5:30 and were able to order quickly and find a seat. Good thing we did because, before long, the line was out the door. The hospitality was excellent and the food and beer were delicious!!! It is so wonderful to have a neighborhood spot like this that the neighbors support. We provided our own Angels viewing, but the Phillies were on their TV! I messed up my order (grandma pie with breadcrumb and onion + sausage pinwheel and cannoli + black and white cookies) I ordered for pick up when it should have been delivery. The owner delivered the order himself. The grandma pie was on point and the sausage pinwheel was right! Waiting to taste the desert but im sure it will be great. Thank you Sal’s“

“I like this place. They sell pizza in two sizes, 10’ and 14’ and the pizza is good.
They are thin crust ( Gluten Free is available), large slices with a crunchy crispy crust. The sauce is not my favorite and the cheese is likely a blend but sticks to slices fairly well. I cannot taste any basil in the sauce but there is oregano for sure, not sure about parsley, kind of hard to get it right with only one reheated slice but I would vouch for their quality being that the slice I ate was a reheat and it I still tasted as if it had just came out the first time. The menu is great for a pizza store and Bar, including individual and shareable dishes. The bar is capable of hosting 9-10 people and they have a side section with a table for another 3. It is spacious in here and has a legit ambiance. The music they are playing is top hits spanning many generations and decades. It is pumping but not too loud to make it hard to talk or hear. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you want to try a beer on tap before you commit, just ask and they will accommodate. I found their Beer on Tap selection to be fairly comprehensive including everything from Hazy IPA’s to Modelo, to Coor’s Light. Their Hazy IPA is easy to drink and feels like a light beer but with full punch.
Trying their Bar Sampler now and will be back to try their other things. I have tried many places here in Mission Viejo since 1985 when we moved here and I feel like this place should get a chance from everyone. It is kind of hidden but if you live around here, you like to have pizza and beer or a calzone, salad, etc. while you watch sports, this is a good spot. The bar tender was awesome and that goes a long way with me!“

“There are multiple businesses in this small neighborhood center. It would be hard to describe them all. They include food eateries, automotive shops, dance studio, marital arts studio, nail salon, etc. Parking does get fairly full on weekends due to the sports bar pizza place.“

Manager thanked the veterans and gave us a handshake and a flag. He even had a table set for the missing soldiers , sailors, and Marines. Happy that everyone in restaurant was having a great time. “I am a challenging customer because I have been the food service profession for decades. I can look at an item and tell you if it came from SYSCO, US Foods, Restaurant Depot, or some other popular source…and my familiarity can adversely impact my dining experiences. I tend to be hypercritical of both the front & back of a restaurant (kitchen staff & servers) and this skepticism is magnified when I feel the need to be catered to. Yes…I’m that guy.

I have returned to Mangia Bene every time I need to impress someone or simply feel the need for great food and service that makes me feel catered to…even spoiled. They do not disappoint and Reggie manages the establishment with a watchful eye and hires very well. You can tell his staff enjoys working here and they value the patron. It’s a tightly run ship decorated with crystal, linen and amazing food that stuns the eye and pleases the taste buds. The bartenders are above average as well. They can make anything and everything and you can have it your way! A slightly dirty martini with enough olives you can call it a low-cal salad? No problem. We have never been served a bad drink here. Martinis come to you with ice crystals floating…not melted like “some places” who do not know better.

After a particularly brutal day, my wife & I needed a date night. We chose Mangia Bene and tried some new dishes. The appetizers were fabulous and generous…so much so we went straight to dessert afterwards because that was all we had room for. But we still ordered entrees to take home cuz great Italian food for breakfast is a wonderful thing! (New Yorkers are smiling as they read this).

If you are a tough customer…if you scrutinize things like the crystal stemware, the house wine selections, expect the perfect port wine served in a proper snifter, holding a quality steak knife and other fine touches that mean something, if you know when your server is providing the ideal level of service (not stopping to check on you too often or disappearing for too long) and seek a dining experience in elegant and comfortable surroundings, then do yourself a favor and go visit Mangia Bene on a day when you need to be treated right…or have a client you need to delight. Go ahead…book your table with absolute confidence. I have been dining here for decades and never once had a negative experience. Of course, unlike the 1-star review people I am not using DoorDash or complaining about the restaurant being packed because it is so popular. There’s an excellent reason for this. At Mangia Bene…they set the customer service bar so high…other restauranteurs need to charter a plane just to see it.“

“Local neighborhood pizzeria. They make decent pizza, fresh ingredients, no complaints - just make sure you order thin crust, in my humble opinion. Not a lot of room inside, but a good place should be packed anyway. Some patrons are greedy and take fistfuls of the Parmesan and pepper packets or a tower of napkins, which is frankly rude and ridiculous. Fortunately, the staff kindly refill their supplies after a hoarder hits!“

“I moved away from the area in 2015, and one of my fondest memories in my 20s was grabbing a fresh large pizza with my friends from Laventina's original location in Newport Beach. I actively thought about Laventina's in the past decade because it was just that good in my head. So you'd imagine that after moving back, I was elated to hear that there was a new location in my hometown. Of course I was a little skeptical because it's sometimes hard to maintain the quality at newer locations, but I had to give it a try.

Located in Woodbridge where many of the restaurants sit. It shares it's space with a little bakery. The vibe definitely feels a bit off. I typically expect to hear 10 surfer bros arguing with each other when I go to Laventina's.

I ordered a pepperoni and jalapeno pizza and some hot wings. The wings were pretty standard but a little bit on the dry/overcooked side. The pizza, though, was a big disappointment. I ordered light cheese, but it was on there so thick and felt like it was sitting around for a while. The dough felt a little flat. Absolutely no cheese pull. It was quite tragic.

When I went to the Newport location, I would always avoid a cheese only or pepperoni and cheese pizza because they would have those pre-made when times were busy. I would do a more niche, custom order so I knew it was be a fresh one. My go-to was chicken, garlic, jalapenos. Maybe that was the same situation here where they had a pepperoni ready to go and just threw on some jalapenos. I'm willing to give it another try with the custom order. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint again.“
