“The best pizza I have had maybe in my life. Im from Connecticut, so Im spoiled with the famous New Haven pizzerias we have there, but this was just as good if not better. We ordered a prosciutto pizza and two Margherita “pizette” pizzas with sausage and pepperoni. Besides the fact that it was amazing, the crust was the surprise star. Cooked just right, just the right chewy-ness, and the pizza itself wasn’t greasy. When you’re really hungry, and you imagine how amazing a pizza would taste, this ends up tasting better than what you hoped for which is very hard to do. Seriously amazing pizza.

“Had a nice evening at Dominicos on the lake this evening. My wife and I had reservations and were fortunate to ask Kory for a patio table which he accommodated. Michael took us to our table and was very kind and professional. Pedro came by with our bread and water and said hello. He is one of the hardest working individuals at the restaurant. Eddie our server came by and took our orders with a bottle of Austin Hope and bread to start. My wife ordered a chicken breast salad and I had the chef's special stroganoff which was amazing. Unfortunately my wife's salad came out 30 minutes after my stroganoff which was a cardinal sin in the restaurant business and we mentioned it was not acceptable. Eddie apologized and we also had Steven, the GM, come by and also apologize and ensure the salad would be out shortly. The salad was delivered, of course after I ate my entree and Steven dropped off and apologetic gift certificate for an appetizer during our next visit. We also ordered an additional beef stroganoff plus an order of meatballs to take home for tomorrow. We undertake things happen and it's certainly nice to see the restaurants busy again but a party of two receiving their entrees 30 minutes apart is not conducive with quality service. I am guessing the chef either misplaced the order or overlooked the obvious and we hope next time we will not have such issues as the restaurant is very good and in a fantastic location. Michael also came back around and stated he was concerned about this mishap and would look into this. As a retired government administrator and former restaurant manager in my college days I expect the simple things like entrees being delivered at the same time to be in sync with quality service and dining. We will be back and see if in fact this was an isolated incident. Good food and ambiance plus. “We tried 3 different pizza’s and 2 salads. Food was amazing!! Great location & atmosphere. The only red flag was when one of the wait staff sneezed twice into her hands and never went to wash her hands. We were there for at least another 45 minutes and she never left the area. So, very happy she didn’t touch our food! We definitely would have talked to a manger if she had. They may need to revisit their food handling protocols!“

“Traveling thru and randomly stopped. Got pizza, Italian sandwich, original buffalo wings, and cookies. It is hands down some of the best pizza we have ever eaten. Wings were perfect! “My dad told me about this place and I was very confused since it looks like a cake bakery only from the outside, but it has some of the best pizza in the area!!! I'm not sure why they don't highlight or advertise the fact that they are also a pizza shop lol.

I HIGHLY recommend the crispy potato pizza, it will be one of the best pizzas you have in OC. It has been approved by various "pizza snobs" in my family LOL“

“The pizza is indeed delicious and they have very innovative flavors, such as potato pizza, pear and Gorgonzola, etc. I wish the place was better kept, it has very limited tables, they don’t offer fountain drinks, just drinks by the can and the variety is limited. If you live far from this place and takeout is not an option, you may end up eating the pizza standing up.“

“First visit, I give it 5 stars, only because the pepperoni pizza was excellent. Both cup and sliced pepperoni was used. Very thick and bready with a crispy edge. Yum !
A couple of things to note.
Pickup orders are done by text message only.
All pizzas are one size only, mine was $30, 8 slices.
Pickup is at the takeout section of El Maguey restaurant, but the door to the takeout is signed as “Restrooms” ! Confusing !“

“I took Craxy for a quick bite before heading back home after a long day of dance rehearsal. These girls love pizza and came all the way from Korea to perform at KconLA. “Pizza tasted great and was reasonably priced. I grabbed a pepperoni slice and tried garlic knots. Not much to say other than nice staff and I loved the adorable photos framed along the wall. I didn’t photograph because of the other patrons, but trust me they’re cute. We sat outside due to no open seats and sat along the tables outside by the road near some parking spots. Yeah, ps parking might take a while because there is no lot but it didn’t take long to find a spot and yeah we just had to walk within the same block. Would love to try again.“

“Not too bad here. Food is decent. Cashiers are not great, but it is pretty quick to grab quite a few different options of pizza they heat up real quick for you if you just want to get a few various slices.

Vegetarian options: I mean, if you want vegetable pizza go for it.

Parking: I have a massive parking lot that is free. Typically I’ve never had an issue. If you want to park in the street you can, but it is illegal so you will get a ticket.

Kid-friendliness: I mean, it’s a pizza place. How do you accommodate kids. That’s one of the four things they eat.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, they can get you in the problem.“

I messed up my order (grandma pie with breadcrumb and onion + sausage pinwheel and cannoli + black and white cookies) I ordered for pick up when it should have been delivery. “We came to the Lab for a relaxing weekend outing and sampled pizza at Kuro.

Thomas is delicious! It is a red sauce pizza that comes with cheese and Italian sausage. We also ordered Nico which is a white sauce pizza with honey.

I enjoyed both pizza - the creativity, flavor, and texture are all on point.

Kuro offers proximity delivery to the Bootlegers brewery. We checked out the menu and placed our order while sampling delicious beer. Freshly made pizzas were delivered to us within 15 minutes.

Two pizza plus taxes and tips came be around $42. A bit pricy but the food and service are excellent!

“We chose this place for brunch after a long search for the right restaurant. We focused on the choice on the menu and the availability of good coffee. Bayshore cafe met our expectations. The patio was wonderful. The fountain enlivened the atmosphere. Almost all tables are equipped with an open fire (if desired), but are too low for eating (we are tall, with a belly).
The server was exactly how we like service - friendly, respectful, fast, thoughtful. Our company rated all ordered dishes 5*. Baklava is a separate major song! Thank you very much for starting the day off.
But I would like to draw your attention to the fact that only one detail distracted from our meal - several intrusive flies. One even drowned in a glass of orange juice, which she had to part with. You can hang some sticky tape or something, I'm sorry.

“We have discovered another young incredibly talented chef that is very much flying under the radar. The chefs table is actually a bar looking into their open kitchen. in the middle of a strip mall Italian restaurant, Zach doesn’t really do menus as he likes to wing it as he goes along, like a sushi omakase where the chef sizes up his guests and their reactions and modifies it as he goes along. Drove me nuts as I was trying to do wine pairings ahead of time but he changed the menu way too many times to keep up. All the dishes are farmers market driven, with most incorporating ingredients from Chino farms. Meats and seafood are wild/grass fed and curated with care. His creative sauces and seasonings are what really stand out. The dishes are bold yet well-balanced. Zach is a chef savant who combines ingredients in an avant guard style , and it works. He uses buttermilk and yogurt instead of cream. Many of the ingredients are fermented. And all the plates are custom designed like what they did at Alinea so the presentations are artful and make the food look even more enticing. This guy is going places.
