“The things going for Darby Dan's are no line, fast service, full kitchen and beers on tap. We had a couple of sandwiches. Darby Dan sandwich $15 and a roast beef w/Swiss $13.50. They had a full kitchen on the right. It wasn't on the menu but they made some chili cheese fries for me. They even had Mango Cart beer on tap. I had a pint. I'm not sure how much it cost because they don't give me a receipt. Regardless, everything tasted OK.“

“Crystal Springs did a phenomenal job catering for our family birthday party this past weekend. The food was superb. Everything was so fresh and seasoned to perfection. I’ve received dozens of text messages afterwards from our friends asking who catered the party. The staff on-site were so friendly and hospitable. “Came in for the first time and ordered two sandwiches. One, the Pastrami, the other roast beef, both with cheddar and everything on it. The habanero sauce is fire. The ravioli plates. All looked amazing. I gotta go back for some of that action. This might be my new favorite spot.“

“We worked with the SF Gelateria team for our wedding in Sonoma and it was a big hit! There was a large selection of flavors and they were responsive and easy to work with. Pricing was more reasonable than other vendors in the Sonoma / Napa area. Only wish that I had a chance to try all 7 flavors on the night of (or asked for a to-go container). Would definitely work with them again.“

Our guests were raving about the everything- the salads, mashed potato bar, pasta bar ( the bolognese sauce was to die for) and the chicken piccata and tri tip. The dessert bar was a hit too! “There was an Espotos's Delicatezza in San Mateo and after Covid they never opened again, I was sad, the sandwiches at that place were irresistible, I always ordered a Valentino and it was super delicious. “AMAZING! LITERALLY the BEST california fries (w/steak) ive ever had. exploding with flavor in every bite. not just the top layer...the whole dish is filling and a mel in itself! We also got the surf and turf burrito...bomb! and fish tacos--comes with 4 tacos. also bomb! i will ask got extra sauce on the tacos next time.“

“We've been enjoying True's delicious Ethiopian cooking for 5 years now, ever since we found out this catering company does take-out orders on the weekend. We used to have to trek up to SF or San Jose, but once we found True we've never looked back. The food is absolutely delicious and packaged individually so it's easy to save leftovers. Our young kids love the Kik Alitcha (yellow lentils) and Gomen (collards), willingly eating their vegetables. I love all the vegan options, especially the salad! I am a salad lover, and the Green Salad hits the spot every time.

I always order a day in advance and pickup at a planned time.“

“We went with Peninsula Catering for our holiday party in San Francisco. The food and drinks were amazing to say the least- the setup, presentation, service and quality of the food/drinks that we had were phenomenal. Everything looked so beautiful and I could tell that they had a lot of attention to detail. The food was a hit, with many people saying that it beat their thanksgiving dinners! The bartenders were so amazing. I would choose them again for our next event in a heartbeat- thank you Diana & Peninsula for making our party amazing and such a smooth process!“

“I've had many dinners her with a group that can fluctuate between a couple folks to 8+ and we always enjoy the meal. The food quality is always solid. And though one doesn't normally expect anything special from counter order service, here the staff is always kind, attentive and generous with servings.

I'm a fan of the tostada bowl but the menu has got ample variety including limited but solid vegetarian options.“

“Boneyard catered our wedding and all of the guests were pleased. The chicken, pulled pork, and brisket were true to form -- what you'd expect from a *good* BBQ joint in Texas. The staff (Rich and his family) were friendly, professional, and did an excellent job. Sides were delectable, the iced tea was perfect, and all leftovers were boxed up at the end. Needless to say, we enjoyed the leftovers. Highly recommended.“

“Omg! We have been to many upscale restaurants but this one totally beats out our previous favs! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and promptly seated. It was my husbands birthday and there was a greeting card waiting on our table for us. Our waiter Giuseppe greeted us with a cheerful smile and from there on it was a heavenly experience. From the salad, to the entrees, to the side dish and finally the dessert, perfection! The complimentary french fries with homemade sauces really impressed us! Yummy! We can't wait to return. I felt like we were dining at a fine Las Vegas restaurant! Thank you to all the staff for making our dining experience a wonderful memory! And kudos to Giuseppe for his outstanding service!“

“Kasa has beautiful restaurants in the Bay Area with a heart. The decor is gorgeous with pretty details sprinkled around. For example the bench outside the Redwood City restaurant is so pretty and show cases the colors and designs of India. The food itself is very comforting. It is inspired by the recipes of the founder's grandmother and it is delicious. I love the chai there and love that they have a chai kit. They also have a location in Castro, San Francisco with its own unique decor and very friendly staff. Thank you Kasa for sharing your food and beauty with the Bay Area.“
