Jianbao is still delicious. I’ll probably skip the hot and sour soup next time. It’s tasty but too much for one person. Also, there’s a lot of soup and I don’t think it’s worth the money. OK if you’re sharing.

The owner heard my baby crying and saw I was having difficulty trying to hold her and eat at the same time. She offered to help me carry my baby while I ate and she was able to calm her down, very kind and helpful 😊“

“We discovered Yan's a year ago and have been coming back ever since.
Yan's has a laidback, family-owned feel. The service is friendly, and I feel taken care of when I walk in.
The portions are generous so expect leftovers. The salt and pepper fried pork and the sticky rice cakes for dessert are my favorites every time.“

“La Maja holds a special place in my heart as this is where I had my first date with my partner! The owner is so sweet, patient, and kind. He always comes over to check in on how we’re doing and tops up our wine glasses during our meal! It truly feels like a quaint, neighborhood, restaurant.
Pro tip: Make sure to take advantage of the wine and 2 empanada deal that they have“

“Authentic chinese food. We ordered pork dumpling with green chives, shanghai soup dumplings, beef roll pancake, pork potstickers, spicy beef tendon, and fried mashed taro cake. Except the fried mashed taro cake, everything was delicious.
The shell of the taro cake was a bit tough for us to chew, I wish they make it with some other kind of pastry wrap or best yet just oil fry some taro filled buns .“

“Their line was long but moved fast. They make your order fresh. I ordered the kickstart burrito. It was tightly rolled, which I appreciate. No spillage or leaking. A green tortilla filled with hot scrambled eggs, cheese, beans, and peppers. I am vegetarian, but I noticed the Chicken was weighed out in advance for another order. They do have a ton of vegetarian options. I was impressed they had a vegetarian soup and Mac and cheese. They have a long list of yummy sounding soups. Honestly impressed with the menu at an airport.“

“I am so glad they opened this sandwich spot! I ordered 5 items for takeout and it came out to only $34. I got 2 veggie sandwiches on Dutch crunch. Best sandwiches in San Mateo County. I also tried their 2 dessert options. They have the bst carrot cake I have ever had! Their chocolate chip cookie tasted very rich. I had their veggie soup which was fresh and delicious. This place is my new go to spot. The location is a little awkward, but the inside is organized and clean. It only took 10 minutes to make my order. Definitely a satisfied customer!!!“
