“If you're in the mood for Mediterranean food; this is the place to go in Orange County. I eat here once a week and the food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. This a fast casual establishment so you have to order at the register first and they bring your meal to the table when its ready. The staff at the register are always polite and will help you with the vast menu choices if needed. The kabobs and salads are outstanding and don't forget to try the delicious chicken soup which is freshly made every day. Portion sizes are generous as well. Manager Joe and his staff will take of you and your dining party with the same level of attention you would receive in a full-service restaurant. Those of you that read my reviews know I'm picky and I don't give out accolades unless they are well deserved, and they certainly are in the case of this location of Chicken Maison.“

“The owner was so sweet. I ordered two things to eat in the restaurant knowing well that I’d take the extras home. So, the owner suggested that I order to go so the packaging would be better. She brought my food to me and let me know that I can also get more pickled radish as desired. When she saw that I was done eating, she brought over more radish and helped me pack up my food. It was a great experience!“

Price. No more pre-pandemic, pre $20/hr wage specials like $5 meals. Everything's $10-15 for a fried chicken meal, and bucket meals $30-50~. Bucket deal on 12 piece was $20 today, $30~ with a large cole slaw and 2 biscuits.“

“The burgers were amazing- so tender and juicy for a default medium/medium well burger! The fried chicken sandwich was also so juicy and yet crispy, in fact I think my friend and I both preferred that, please don’t tell the owners! Just kidding..but it was great. Very light batter, but just enough crunch. The mochi waffle was yummy, and the combo of hot waffle and cold ice cream was uber-comforting. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a simple but extremely well thought-out meal.“

“Halal spot ; We were on the way to South back home and stop by this restaurant for our light dinner.
I think it’s family owned and the prices are pretty reasonable. The staff were very friendly, and assisted us in ordering. Everything turned out good, they were super nice providing us extra condiments, etc. Be sure to select your spice level wisely cuz we ended up in tears, but we still enjoyed it though.

“I recently visited bb.q Chicken in Costa Mesa and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. The portions were just right, and the food arrived impressively fast. I found the fries especially unique – they had a powdered cheese coating with a slight sweetness, adding an interesting twist.

The star of the meal was, of course, the chicken. It was juicy and flavorful, with a marinade that didn’t overwhelm the crispiness of the batter underneath. Since this is Korean cuisine, there’s a subtle hint of sweetness in most dishes. While sweet flavors aren’t usually my preference, I knew to expect it with Korean flavors, and it worked well here. The prices were reasonable, making it all the more worth it.

“First time at Yo Yo Burgers and so glad I stopped by. Their variety of burgers, toppings and sauces are Amazing. The brioche bread is perfect and with seasoning on the patties. The fries are so crispy in the outside and soft in the inside. Saad took care of us and guided us thru the ordering process and provided us with his favorite sauces. I got curious about the Spicy chicken sandwich and decided to try it out.I have a high spice tolerance and never was really "spiced"out by ANY Spicy Sandwich. Until today. “At first i didnt want to make the drive ...there arent many locations...but the drive was worth it.When we got to daves hot chicken,Justin took our order. He was very professional and took time to explain the hotness of the choices of chicken . When we recieved our order I immediately noticed the you get more fries than many places (like canes)and the pickles served with the chicken here are crunchy and delicious 😋, my kids loved it !! The locating is really nice n clean ! You'll enjoy it.

“I think they were incredibly busy bc our order took forever and a day, but honestly it was worth the wait. First time trying this chicken and it was so crispy, flavorful and juicy. It was perfect. I also ordered the corn cheese and unfortunately it may have been cooked in butter or oil but it was way to greasy for me. I ended up with a stomachache, but I'm old so that's normal. I'm sure it would be fine if I was half my age. They had a huge screen playing kpop music videos, which is fine unless you have a kid who you limit screen time, all they wanted to do was watch the screen and a lot of the time it's people with not a lot of clothes on moving provocatively. I dont mind but not something a small child should be watching. I'd still go back though and order to go ahead of time.“

The rice and the chili are on point. My only nitpicks are that the rice could be a little drier with longer grain, and the chili consistency is a bit too smooth for my taste.

The sauces were all amazing but the soy garlic was outstanding. The portions were huge! The two of us each had full size leftovers and then some. And for under $40! The icing on the cake was the excellent service. Alma, our server, was gracious, attentive and answered all our silly questions. The chef, Raul, plated the best meals we have had in quite some time. There's a few tables inside to dine in and shares a big parking lot with other businesses nearby. We only live about 10 minutes away so our food was still hot when we got back.
