“Went for something different in Fried Chicken, and I was not disappointed. The chicken is crispy outside and tender inside. I got a half chicken with the Secret Sauce. Enjoyed it greatly. I had it with curly fries, a pretty good large portion. There was enough for two. I tried to finish all the chicken and failed.
The value is good.

Price. No more pre-pandemic, pre $20/hr wage specials like $5 meals. Everything's $10-15 for a fried chicken meal, and bucket meals $30-50~. Bucket deal on 12 piece was $20 today, $30~ with a large cole slaw and 2 biscuits.“

“The burgers were amazing- so tender and juicy for a default medium/medium well burger! The fried chicken sandwich was also so juicy and yet crispy, in fact I think my friend and I both preferred that, please don’t tell the owners! Just kidding..but it was great. Very light batter, but just enough crunch. The mochi waffle was yummy, and the combo of hot waffle and cold ice cream was uber-comforting. “Halal spot ; We were on the way to South back home and stop by this restaurant for our light dinner.
I think it’s family owned and the prices are pretty reasonable. The staff were very friendly, and assisted us in ordering. Everything turned out good, they were super nice providing us extra condiments, etc. Be sure to select your spice level wisely cuz we ended up in tears, but we still enjoyed it though.

We hope that we can visit this place again next time we are on the way back from north

It’s rare to find a burger place that also serves good chicken. So I chose the build-your-own-burger option and ordered an Angus beef and chicken burger.

I ordered the half chicken combo which included three side items. The chicken itself is super juicy and delicious. For my side items, I got a double side of potato salad and rice and they too were mouth watering. The person who waited on us was an extremely pleasant man who turned out to be the owner. He gave me a brief history on the restaurant which I found to be very interesting. Owning a successful food establishment requires a lot of work. Having to change up your menu items and re decorate the dining room every couple years sounds like a huge challenge. I will definitely be back in the future to try one of their Korean entrees. Did I mention that the other half of the menu is Korean food? Extremely diverse menu!!!!!!!“

“The Chicken Rice is one of the top spots in OC for original Khao Man Gai. It’s been a minute since my last visit, so I was surprised to discover that they relocated from their previous Santa Ana location into the 4th Street Market. The Chicken Rice joins a number of innovative food makers featured in this food hall. I parked at a nearby meter but according to their website, there are two parking structures off of 4th and 5th Streets that offer the first 2 hours free!

I recommend making it a combo with the Chicken & Rice which includes 2 choices of protein, soup and vegetables. My go-to protein choices are Hainanese Chicken and Crispy Chicken, so I get to enjoy the best of both worlds! The combo includes a choice of signature ginger rice or steamed rice, but you can choose brown rice (+$1) or sticky rice (+$2) for an additional charge. They also allow their customers to select 2 sauces from 8 different options. The Ginger Chicken Oil is a nice complement to the Hainanese Chicken and I enjoyed dipping the Crispy Chicken in their Spicy Soybean Chili Ginger sauce. If you’re a Hainan Chicken fan like I am, The Chicken Rice is a must try!“

The Dirty Beer Battered Fries with the Fried Egg were intended as a side but quickly took center stage. Perfectly spicy and flavorful. The chicken tenders were huge white meat pieces. The sauces were all amazing but the soy garlic was outstanding. The portions were huge! The two of us each had full size leftovers and then some. And for under $40! The icing on the cake was the excellent service. Alma, our server, was gracious, attentive and answered all our silly questions. The chef, Raul, plated the best meals we have had in quite some time. Please treat yourself to this gem of a local restaurant. Highly recommend! 👌“

Also a set of Yup O, it had rice cake, sausages, fish cake, cabbage and cheese. And the set came with seaweed rice and veggies fried tempura. My favorite place to go for this type of Korean food. Staffs were very nice. It’s a hole in the wall restaurant but good food and clean place.“

“The Hainan Chicken rice dish is best I have ever tasted in OC. The chicken is tender and moist and all three sauces were provided were amazingly good - the sweet chilli with a bit of tang, sweet soy sauce, and the ginger scalion sauce. The rice is also very tasty if a bit hard but easily soften with the piping hot chicken broth included. If you love Hainan Chicken rice, this place is definitely a must!
