“I have been eating Indian food for about 40 years! this place is an AAA ➕. The spices are exactly right without being hot! The owner and chef cooked at high end restraunts before opening his own place. The chicken tikka is perfectly cooked every time. All bread and somosas are hand made from scratch. The price is VERY reasonable and they have a lunch special till 3pm that cant be beat“

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

Masala Waves is an absolute gem. We started with the tandoori fish and the samosa chaat and wow both were bursting with flavor. The fish was perfectly cooked tender and packed with smoky spices and the samosa chaat had the perfect balance of crispy tangy and comforting. The mango lassi was so refreshing and creamy easily one of the best I’ve had. The chicken biryani truly stole my heart. It honestly reminds me of my mom’s cooking. The spices the aroma and the tenderness of the chicken made it feel like a warm homemade meal made with love. Vegetable Samoosa, Daal Tadhka Lentil, rice, and Naan were delicious. Prices were very good, and very nice clean table settings, plates, and inside. The outside, which looks misleading, is nothing like the clean interior. I highly recommend this restaurant!

For the record, for all other Indian restaurants: Take notice of how Daal Tadhka should be properly cooked and looked like, as was the case at this great restaurant.“

“This small Indian restaurant is not the best place to eat in. It gets hot inside and there is no air conditioning. However, it is perfect for takeout. The food is consistently delicious. The butter chicken, chicken tandoori, and chicken tikka masala are all full of flavor. The garlic naan is soft, warm, and really tasty.

Service is fast and efficient, so picking up your order is quick and easy. If you are looking for great Indian food to take home, this is a solid choice.“

“Khansaab (previously Shor) in Hawaiin garden is an absolute gem. The food was incredible, and the ambiance and hospitality were even better, truly a Michelin star-worthy experience.

We ordered mango lassi, chicken psao, malai tikka, and Peshawari chicken with garlic naan (the highlight of the night with mouthwatering flavors), and finished with knafah- everything was outstanding and full of authentic Pakistani flavor.

“Absolute perfection. I got the vegetable biryani, full of flavor, perfectly spiced, and aromatic in every bite. Take out is a better option for this place. They had one table. It's akin to a quick serve Chinese restaurant where they give you rice, garlic naan, plus the items of your choice.

They had 3 vegetarian curries and 3 meat curries when I went today. I was offered samples befoee deciding.

I chose the goat curry and the eggplant curry. Both the perfect amount of spicy and spiced properly.

The foods I tried today were excellent and I'll be back to try more in the future.“

“This is by far the best Indian food in OC and possibly in SoCal. My husband and I have been eating here for over a decade and we’ve found the service, food quality, and family that owns the place to be exceptional every single time. We are greeted like family when we come in and consistently have a great experience. We’ve had Indian food from CA to London, and still, Tandoori has the best flavor of them all. My husband has tried a number of things on the menu and raves about the Chicken tikka masala. I LOVE the veggie korma. The flavor is full and rich, and when you ask for spicy, they give it to you. The garlic naan is absolutely delicious, as are the samosas. We’ve eaten in, gotten takeout, and also ordered on DoorDash tons of times and every single time the food is piping hot and so flavorful. We love that it’s family run and that they use all family recipes. I’ve seen some reviews mention portion sizes being small, which is wild because I always have leftovers. I order an extra rice to make a second meal out of it and it never disappoints. The space is modest which makes it feel like a hidden gem. 10/10 will keep going here.“

“So delicious! Where else can you get vegan tikka masala, butter tofu, saag tofu.. tell me, I wanna know! So hard to find. So pleased they offer so many vegan options beyond the normal chana, dal, bhindi, aloo we usually get. I missed having a creamy, rich tikka! The tofu butter masala was my favorite (at least I think I was that one - the darker orange one). Closest to a tikka one might have had before going vegan. Absolutely loved it. Called and confirmed everything on the "Indian Vegan Cafe" menu is 100% vegan. I bet you can also just go to Southern Spice and sit down and order it. I'll have to try someday. I did pickup after placing a GrubHub order - be warned, it seemed to take longer than the non vegan orders, wasn't ready quite when the app said it was. Not really a "ghost kitchen"... really just Southern Spice's vegan menu but separated into a different name for ordering.
