“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

“Beautiful ambiance, actually done right, with nepalese decorations and nice traditional background music. Service was fast and the staff greeted me with a smile. Food was tasty, and the portion was decent size. I will be back. It's an oasis of peace in Huntington Beach.“

“Chicken tikka masala, goat curry and biryani was delicious. Every dish we tried was exceptional, showcasing a high level of creativity and attention to detail. The flavors were well-balanced and unique. The service was also impeccable; the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive.
It reminds more like a hometown vibes. Especially, Himalayan soup.“

“A man from a far country came to this restaurant, tired and hungry, and bought some Indian food. Much to his embarrassment the credit card denied the transaction. No problem, said the seller, take it and pay another time. God Bless you noble @Sandeep Kumar and your staff ברכה והצלחה בכל מעשי ידיך“

“Was super excited to eat at Masala Bae. My friend had been hyping the lunch buffet for so long and we would always talk about coming to eat here on a Saturday morning. Well today was finally the day and it really didn’t disappoint.
We showed up pretty much as soon as it opened and only had to wait about five minutes before we could start getting food from the buffet. It was all so delicious! The standouts for me were the paneer and the chili chicken. I felt like these two dishes complemented each other incredibly well. I am not much of a dessert guy but I also tried the different desserts they had and I enjoyed them very much. Especially the custard with the fruits.
The waitstaff were all amazing as well. Super welcoming and friendly, they made us feel right at home. It was nice and cold inside which was also great because of the heat outside. Would love to come back and eat here again.“

“Truly phenomenal service from the waiter, Jatinder, and the new owner, Robin! They were so attentive, kindly checked on us frequently, and kept our water topped up. The pakora, onion bhaji, and samosa appetizer sampler was really delicious and I haven't had such wonderfully and delicately spiced samosas like these that weren't greasy at all. My family thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. The potions were large and very reasonably priced. The location is a bit tucked away on the corner of Harbor/Adams as they don't have a sign on the large marquee, but it's a gem worth finding!“

“We ordered hara masala paneer, assorted starter and naan for dinner . Naan and paneer was too good. If you like spicy then you can ask them to make it. Service and staff are amazing. Place is decent. They have outdoor and indoor spaces for sitting.“

“This small Indian restaurant is not the best place to eat in. It gets hot inside and there is no air conditioning. However, it is perfect for takeout. The food is consistently delicious. The butter chicken, chicken tandoori, and chicken tikka masala are all full of flavor. The garlic naan is soft, warm, and really tasty.
Service is fast and efficient, so picking up your order is quick and easy. If you are looking for great Indian food to take home, this is a solid choice.“

“Been here for father's day with my family. We ordered a number of dishes and had requested to serve mild spicy. It was really mild and the freshness of all the dishes ordered was quite remarkable. Was impressed with the immense cleaning of this place including the restroom. The ambience was very open and relaxing. Enjoyed the dinner. Recommended.“

“Absolutely loved our experience at Shahi Mahal Restaurant!
We tried the Nihari, Chicken Chilli, Chicken Biryani, Punjabi Samosa, Chaat, Mango Kheer, and fresh Naan — everything was bursting with authentic Indian flavors. The food was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. A special shout-out to Moeen, one of the co-owners, who was incredibly friendly and guided us through the menu with great recommendations. His hospitality made the visit even better.
If you're craving real, traditional Indian cuisine, Shahi Mahal Restaurant is a must-visit!“

“it had been a few years since we were here. That was a mistake. We realize had much we missed it. The ambiance, the service and oh my, the food was delicious. My Indian husband and his Indian nephew and cousin were with us. We had 3 appetizers. I had the chicken Biryani, mild as requested, but very flavorful, hubs had a lamb dish and the others had vegetarian 😋. My husband complimented the owner when we were leaving. White tablecloths, fine artwork, authentic food, served artfully. A true 5 star dining experience. Royal Khyber now moves to the top of our go to restaurants 😀“

“This charming restaurant has some of the best Indian food my wife and I have ever had (we have eaten more than once at well over a half dozen high end Indian restaurants in London and at a number in New York and elsewhere in the US). We especially enjoyed the mulligitawny soup (with chicken)and the chicken tikka masala and the naan was excellent. We appreciated the lack of blaring rock music and the fact that, when we asked for our dishes mild, that is exactly what we got.“
“Vishnu Catering did a spectacular job at the event that I planned for ~100 people in Santa Barbara. They showed up on time, prepared, and were very professional to work with throughout the entire process. We haven't even gotten to the food yet - every single person at the event (desi and non-desi) enjoyed the food and praised the food to us. Of note, the rasmalai, double ka meetha, mutton curry, mango daal, chai, apollo fish, mango lassi, chicken tikka masala, paneer makhani, aloo gobi, and more. You can't go wrong by choosing Vishnu Catering for your event. They were a hit. Thanks Ram, for all the effort and for helping making our day so special.“

“We were greeted by the jovial manager - owner of this local favorite Indian restaurant. There were so many delicious dishes to choose from; we had Lamb Masala and a Chicken dish both with yummy Aloo Paratha and Garlic Naan. All dishes were generous and we will bring more friends next time to try from the huge selection. Gulab Jamun is my favorite dessert with Mango lassi, a perfect pairing.“
“We recently visited Anaheim on vacation and had an incredible culinary experience at Namaste Biryani! Though it’s a cloud kitchen with no dine-in option, the food more than makes up for it.
We ordered the Karivepaku Paneer, Paneer Biryani, and their signature Namaste Biryani with boneless chicken—each dish was bursting with flavor and exceeded our expectations.
If you’re in or around Anaheim and craving authentic Indian flavors, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend giving it a try for takeout or delivery!“

“Absolutely the best Indian food for 60 miles around. We have tried just about every Indian restaurant located near us. Tandoori is by far the most delicious Indian food, always made with fresh ingredients. The staff is super nice & friendly, and the prices are great.“

“This place is consistently great. I've tried their chicken and rice dishes, and they all taste great. The tandoori chicken and (I think) butter chicken are especially good. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is that they skimp a bit on the portions and give you tons of sauce. If you're into that, it's great, but I just wish the meat portions were more generous.
The value is there, but for me it's borderline because of the portion size. Overall, this is a solid spot and very convenient for lunch if you're in the area.“

“Delighted by my midday visit to Urban Punjab in garden grove for a lunch at 3 PM—serendipity in its timing as they were open and welcoming. Tucked away in a modest shopping center that also boasts a superb shawarma joint, this place is a hidden treasure. The tandoori chicken and dal makhani I savored transported my taste buds straight to the streets of Delhi with their authentic, extraordinary flavors. The lacha paratha? Simply genius. Service was extraordinary, matched by the unique touch of serving drinks in metal, regal glasses that elevate the dining experience to one of noble indulgence. Having the pleasure of meeting both owners, their dedication was evident in every aspect. I'm looking forward to a return visit with loved ones in tow, ready to embark on a culinary expedition through their entire menu. Heartfelt thanks to Urban Punjab for a five-star experience.“

“Went here the other day to try it for the first time! I tried a two-combination plate with one vegetable curry, one chicken and cilantro curry, rice, and a side of garlic naan. It was delicious! I'd say the pricing is worth the quality, as it was incredibly tasty, fresh, and good portion sizing. I also got a mango lassi drink; definitely don't regret it!
Service was wonderful too, the staff is very friendly and amiable and I hope to be back again soon. :)“

“Had the best Indian food here while traveling away from India! The chef did a superb job, and my friends and I were stuffed silly. I particularly liked the dal makhni and garlic naan, while my friend thought the lamb curry was delightful. Definitely returning on my next SoCal visit! My sister is also a fan. Can too easily pack on the pounds here! Drank a lot of their infused water too.“

“One of the most sub standard experience! The food had all the same curry base, made from canned ingredients. The staff was unhelpful and did not care at all. The seating is narrow and cheap. The portion size of s horrible. The taste of the food is awe filling because it’s probably microwaved rather than cooked properly. Horrible experience. Stay away! There are better Indian restaurants.“

“So delicious! Where else can you get vegan tikka masala, butter tofu, saag tofu.. tell me, I wanna know! So hard to find. So pleased they offer so many vegan options beyond the normal chana, dal, bhindi, aloo we usually get. I missed having a creamy, rich tikka! The tofu butter masala was my favorite (at least I think I was that one - the darker orange one). Closest to a tikka one might have had before going vegan. Absolutely loved it. Called and confirmed everything on the "Indian Vegan Cafe" menu is 100% vegan. I bet you can also just go to Southern Spice and sit down and order it. I'll have to try someday. I did pickup after placing a GrubHub order - be warned, it seemed to take longer than the non vegan orders, wasn't ready quite when the app said it was. Not really a "ghost kitchen"... really just Southern Spice's vegan menu but separated into a different name for ordering. TLDR - highly recommend, especially if you're craving more creamy (but vegan!) Indian curries! Updated from previous review on 2023-06-08“

“If you’re looking for an authentic South Indian dining experience, Chennai Tiffin is an absolute gem. I recently visited and sampled their Masala Dosa, Idli, Puri, and South Indian Coffee, and I must say, it was a delightful journey through the flavors of South India. Masala Dosa: The dosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and had a generous, flavorful potato filling. The accompanying coconut chutney and sambar were fresh and aromatic, enhancing every bite. Idli: The idlis were soft, fluffy, and melted in the mouth. Paired with the tangy sambar and creamy chutneys, they were a simple yet comforting dish. Puri: The puris were served hot, puffed, and golden brown, with a mildly spiced potato curry that was a perfect complement. The portion size was generous, making it a hearty option. South Indian Coffee: Ending the meal with their signature filter coffee was the highlight. It was brewed to perfection, with just the right balance of strength and sweetness, served in a traditional steel tumbler and dabarah, adding an authentic touch. The ambiance of Chennai Tiffin is clean, simple, and welcoming, reflecting the warmth of South Indian hospitality. The service was quick, and the staff was courteous, making the dining experience even better. Overall, Chennai Tiffin is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic South Indian food. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned lover of South Indian cuisine, this place won’t disappoint. I look forward to coming back to try more of their menu! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)“

One time my blood sugar dropped while i was waiting for my naan and she fixed me up a little plate so fast and sat with me to make sure i was ok. The food there is delicious! I can’t find it here like they make it! My favorites are vegetable korma - saag aloo - and chicken tiki masala!“
