“Roadhouse checks all of the boxes for us. Great atmosphere, amazing service, food and drinks are consistently great! Whether you’re in need of a great date night, or a celebratory dinner, a place to refuel after a sporting event, you can count on Roadhouse to be the perfect place. It’s one of our favorite date night spots in town. We can always look forward to not only amazing food and drinks, but we always leave happy, from having the best conversations with other guests, and staff. Hands down, the best Old Fashioned ever! They make their own syrup and I love it with Buffalo Trace. It’s delicious. Oftentimes we eat off of the appetizer menu, because they are the perfect portions to share or have alone. Favorites: steak bites, pork belly, mozzarella moon pies, brussels sprouts, onion rings, patty melt, homemade chips, Old Fashioned, sweet potato fries, huge salad, pastrami sandwich and my husband’s favorite beer, Pliny the Elder. “The Xinantecatl Restaurant arose on our horizon after a week of backpacking in the Sierras. I'm sure it wasn't only the contrast with rehydrated camping food while slapping hummingbird-sized mosquitoes. But this place is the real deal! Each person in our five person party descended into reverential silence while enjoying fajitas, salad with steak, camarones a la veracruzana (spicy and savory) and camarones a la diablo (SPICY and savory). Meals were served with hot corn tortillas following complimentary excellent thick cut tortilla chips and both red and tomatillo salsas, both tangy and yummy. The man who greeted us was also the chef and waiter, a charming guy on top of talented and efficient cook and cultural translator (ask him what the restaurant name means!).  Complimentary ice creams were his final gift as we departed home to the showers he never let on knowing that we needed.  I'll be back for sure whenever I'm in town!“

“waited over an hour for our food - all we ordered were nachos, chicken tenders, fries and a sandwich. there were literally 2 other tables besides us and they already had their food. server wasn't even apologetic or anything. finally had to get my nachos to go : menu said beef nachos. more like canned chili nacho with little to no "beef". not worth $13 by a long shot. never going back. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!“

Usually if not short staffed, you can call your order in ahead of time, or order at the counter.You typically won't spend more then 5min waiting for your order, MAYBE 10mins if busy, or short staffed.Subs are typically REALLY good & fairly priced.They ONLY hire women (kinda sexist & weird), but they can be real snarky, short tempered & rude at times. For not reason, other then you ordering your sub, the way YOU want it.The pizza(s) are take & bake & everyone's oven, Cooks different. That's the only issue with the pizza(s), but my rating does NOT reflect on that issue.My rating is based off the STAFF as mentioned above & sub quality is 90% on point. But, that other 10% is when the ladies, are being b*tchy!????? - Rawk & Rall!

She had the house salad—fresh and delicious—but I have to talk about the California Burger. This burger was incredible… so flavorful and satisfying! Easily one of the best choices we could’ve made after a 12+ hour drive.

“Came over for a quick breakfast. Roman seated me quickly, got me more coffee, and had my food in about 10min. Eggs were cooked perfectly, potatoes were good, and he even brought me a side of fruit since I dont eat wheat. Only complaint was the ham was a little tough but thats ok. Would definitely return. “Great burger joint in small town Kingsburg. Building is always clean, and tables are very nice. Food portions are large and taste great. You can customize your burger how you want and you can see them cook it all in the open kitchen. The people that work there are always really friendly too. It's just rough going there at lunch time due to the students going there during their break. The line will be gigantic, so plan around that. Outside of that, it's the best place for a burger in Kingsburg.“

“My husband and I stopped here Saturday night (about 11:30pm) and were super hungry. David the server was so friendly and greeted us with a big smile. We could tell he was busy so we waited patiently. He came over and took our drink order. About 5-10 mins after that he came to our table to tell us that it was time for the cook (Chuy) to go home and the new one still hadn’t shown up yet. “I don’t have a cook to cook your food, I’m so sorry”. We could tell that he felt terrible as he was telling us but when he saw our faces he quickly offered to cook us dinner if it was easy. We agreed and he happily took our order and went off to cook our food. About 10-15 mins later he came out with our food. I asked if he made it and he said “no. The cook stayed behind just to took your food”. What a guy! Both David and Chuy went above and beyond that night. They both made sure that we had our food and gave us some amazing service. This place has some great people working for them with some great work ethic. I hope the owners see this and give both of those guys a pat on the back.“

You do not get customer service like that anywhere at all anymore. She constantly came to check in on us, (family of 6) god bless her. “Always stop here to eat out of the hot sun. They have a little more to offer here than the other ones. Free ice water helps a lot. Some people just don’t know how to clean up after themselves. Usually always half full. It’s always nice to watch the rhino, wildbeasts, elephants, antelope, ostrich while eating.
