“It’s difficult to put into words how essential this place is. Just up the road from the nirvana that is Marshall, this spot hits the spot. With the best pastry this side of France, and pizza you’d kill your own mother for… I could go on forever extolling its virtues. But I didn’t even mention the coffee. “Nightingale’s Is the best bread ever and their cookies are divine. The Batard is one of my favorite breads ever. My husband bought A baguette and I made homemade bruschetta. Homegrown tomatoes basil. Love this summer treat.“

“Does the FDA or DEA know about your Savory Galette? It must contain some kind of controlled substance. Holy Moly! It is Delicious!!!“
“The service was good, the flavor was phenomenal, the texture was a bit off like it had ice crystals formed in it--not very creamy, and the atmosphere was... well, bougie tourist town, what do you expect? The price is absolutely absurd. I paid $7 for a single small scoop in a cone so bland and stale that I felt like I was eating a paper cup and wished I had just asked for one instead of having to keep biting through the gross waffle. I had the bourbon plum ice cream and I'd highly recommend that flavor if you want to try this place out.“

“Stopped in for the first time this morning, was pleasantly surprised by this local gem. Nice people working, the owner shows real pride of ownership with this establishment. Clean bathroom, good coffee, nice snack, regulars are welcoming, highly suggest you give it a try. We will be back.“
