El Flaco Taqueria is a reliable spot for good Mexican food, especially for those with high standards. The fish tacos are a standout, with some considering them the best they've had. The BBQ flavored asada is also a highlight. The menu features popular items like shrimp tacos and wet burritos, which many customers crave. The food is consistently tasty, and the owner cares about her customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant offers a shaded area to sit and enjoy the meal. Prices are reasonable, with tacos under $3 and a regular burrito for $7.99. The carnitas tacos and asada fries are highly recommended by visitors. While the food is usually prepared quickly, during busy times, ordering ahead is advised. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and suggest additional items like champurrado, caldo de res, menudo, pozole, albondigas, taquitos de pollo, and chilerelleno, which are sometimes available on a stand-up board. Overall, El Flaco Taqueria is a great Mexican spot with delicious food and friendly people.
