“I saw this place while visiting a friend and decided to try it out.

It’s a fairly big coffee shop/cafe with comparable seating both indoor and outdoor. It’s attached to the Calvary Chapel in Garden Grove, so plenty of parking available.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their items, even offering drink and food suggestions.

I ordered their signature Churro Latte that has house made dulce de leche, vanula and cinnamon. It definitely taste like a light churro, not overly sweet.

“Cute little boba shop! We're tourists from Arizona and we enjoyed it. We got the strawberry mango tea with strawberry popping boba, haus milk tea boba and taiyaki. The taiyaki was absolutely delicious, fresh, hot with the perfect amount of Nutella. Would definitely come back whenever we return to California. 🫶“

“7 Leaves is probably my favorite boba chain in California when it comes to consistency and pricing. This location is fairly large and with plenty of parking, makes a great stop for a drink.

I ordered their Assam Black Milk Tea with Oat Milk and Boba, and it's just how I like it each and every time. Their tea quality is pretty good, boba is soft, and sweetness levels are to my liking.

While I love 7 Leaves, I do find it odd that they couldn't make me Jasmine Milk Tea Latte with Oat Milk. The jasmine milk tea is pre-made so only the Asaam or Oolong are available to be made with oat milk. However, my friend did not believe this to be the case and was finally able to uncover that they CAN mix pure jasmine green tea with oat milk to make it a milk tea latte.“

“I recently discovered this place and ngl this is a hidden gem. I was impressed by a variety of items which brings back all my memories of growing up in Vietnam. Their menu is so diverse with so many Vietnamese street food. I tried Cuon Top mo cham bo, Phoi suong Thap cam, Bap xao dac biet; all of them were delicious and visually appealing. All the workers are friendly and are willing to help me anytime. Highly recommend!!!“

“Fast services and friendly staff. The ladies always greeted us with their brightest smiles. Roasted pork baguette and egg coffee are worth trying. Also recommend durian coffee for durian lovers. “This is a restaurant/lounge. Fri and Sat nights they have DJ playing music. This place is opening late till 2am during the weekend I believe and midnight during weekdays. Love their grilled chicken feet better than the kinda steamed ones. Their ribeye not bad at all also the bone marrows. I was there for both brunch/lunch and dinner. But I was never there when the was DJ. Weekday is easier to find parking than weekends“

“We ordered take out for lunch from Hoa Sen. We tried their fried soy fish with ginger sauce, stir fried yellow noodles (with chicken and vegetables), rice with veg spare ribs and bbq pork, and a chicken congee with mushrooms. Total came out to $54 which is typical for veg food. The stand out for me was the congee. It is hard to find vegetarian congee that isn't just bland. This one had pieces of chicken and mushrooms and it was so good. The noodles were also great. I like that we got a variety of vegetarian meats. It was a very satisfying meal.“

“I'm quite picky about my boba. I need it 25% sweet with light ice, and I really want to taste the tea in my boba drinks.
This is a recent thing in an effort to be somewhat healthy so before i always had gotten 100% sweetness in my boba. This cafe makes their drinks with quality tea and I really like that. My one very big quib about this place was that they don't do sweetness levels in percentages so that knocked a star off for me bc they only have heavy sweet or light sweet, and light sweet in ny opinion tastes like 100% sweetness. I tried asking for no sweetness and they couldn't do that. The cashier was really helpful and patient with all of my questions so that was great.i ordered a jasmine milk tea light sweetness light ice and it was very very sweet, but the tea was very strong which I liked. I am noticing a trend in boba places going hard at making their drinks sugary and I wish that wasn't the case. I think the milk teas might be sweeter but I will make an edit to this post when I get a non milk tea.
