The great wine tasting flight is only beaten by the nice and interesting service. Well worth a detour to get this taste of atypical and fair priced Californian wines.
What a wonderful find. Popped in on our way back to Sonoma for a glass of wine. Ryan was so accommodating even though we didn’t want a full tasting and was more than happy telling us the stories behind his wines and their labels which were extremely interesting. The two glasses of wine we had (a Chardonnay and a Zinfandel) were outstanding and Ryan kindly gave us a sample of his wonderful Malbec. Would definitely be top of our list to revisit if we are ever back in Sonoma...read full review
We closed out our Sonoma trip stopping at Wine Snob. We got to meet the owners and their family who were visiting. They have a true passion for wine and the local wildlife that the wines are named after. Can’t wait to come back and visit again!

Wine Snob* is a charming downtown Glen Ellen stop that offers a delightful wine tasting experience. The cozy and welcoming tasting room features a great vibe, complete with background music and local artwork and jewelry displays. With a reasonable tasting fee, visitors can sample a variety of red and white wines, bubbly, and port. The founder, Ryan, personally welcomes and serves guests, sharing his expertise and passion for their high-quality wines, focusing on non-traditional Sonoma grape varietals and sustainable production techniques. The atmosphere is modern industrial yet inviting, and there is also a nice outside patio area. Many visitors have called Wine Snob a hidden gem and recommend it as a must-visit spot when in the Glen Ellen area. It is a wine tasting room where they source and make their own, offering clean wines without additives. Trivia night is a lot of fun.
