12 Best Tex-Mex Restaurants near Glendale

“Today 03/30/19 i went to the Glendale location with my 2 children and niece. I had the best service ever. I walked in and a gentle man (domingo)? finished mopping cleaning the lobby acknowledged our entrance. I was looking at the Desert menu and said i want to Churros. He said ill have one too and i said ill get you one. He smiles and wdnt back to the line. Art was taking my order and i had a complicated long dessert order. I ordered almost every dessert. Art was very patient and understanding i had 3 young children to order for. He took my order and smiled and asked other co workers questions if he didnt know the answer. We got the food quick and my 2 kids started fighting because they both wanted strawberry shakes. Art and Domingo said dont work while I ordered another strawberry shake. They quickly made it and gave us extra straws when they saw my kids dropped them everywhere. I tries to give domingo? A churro he asked for but he stated thanks but he cant take it. I asked if it was per store policy he stated yes. I aaid thank you for great service and told the manager and asked how i can give feedback. They were great. Quick and understanding. perfect with no issues. Please tell them thank you very much. We appreciate it.“

“We drive 35 miles at least three times a month to eat here. We love Home State and as a Native Texan, I can attest that their queso is the real deal!!! I just wish they'd open one in Claremont, CA!!! The Don't Mess With Texas is my favorite taco and my husband loves the brisket taco. Everything is amazing though!!!“

“Food was good, ambiance was nice and service was excellent. For me, the place was too loud. If you do not mind, I can recommend the place. Just make sure you come early. They do not take reservations and the line was long.“

“I never knew there was a Homestate near by, I took my family there after I went to a couple of yelp events where Homestate was featured and loved their tacos, but I have never tried their hibiscus limeade. This was refreshing and amazing. My tijuana pather (brisket taco) fell apart but it was so good. Honestly, I've had several of their tacos and forth worth is my favorite. The potato taco was also decent. These tacos are messy because it is filled. You will leave full after 2 tacos.

The service was also great. They accidently left the bacon in the forth worth and fixed it right away. Even offered 2 cookies because it was busy and had to wait. That's great customer service.

I will be making this location a favorite for tex mex tacos.

Also parking is better after 6, it's only 30 mins prior right in front. This is downtown culver city so there's several lots and I'm not entirely sure about parking in the neighborhood, so just check signs.“

“Food is always fresh and good. They have some good deals during their daily happy hour from 3pm to 6pm. The fajitas are my favorite. Tacos are also good, and the nachos with steak. They also have kid meals. Good portions of food. Mango salsa is fresh and delicious. Plenty of fresh chips always comes with the food.“
