“I am 65 years old. We had dinner at Humble Bird Saturday night. I have never, repeat, NEVER had chicken this good. Crisp, juicy (but not dripping like other places), no grease in sight. We got mild, but used the hot honey supplied and what a combination of flavors. We also got potato salad and slaw. Both great additions to an already wonderful meal. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place was spotless. I live north of Seattle, but would consider driving down just for more of their chicken...Well, and to visit my kids.“

“I was first introduced to Nashville-style hot chicken at Hattie B's in Nashville. Although I've never found anything quite like it here in Los Angeles (Hattie B's chicken serves bone-in whole pieces, marinated through), I'm addicted to Dave's, and love the Extra Hot! (I'll stay away from Reaper...I don't need to try something that requires a signed waiver!)

My go-to is the #4, and their fries are great too. The extra pickles they include are a really nice touch, and the sauce is a the perfect alternate to ketchup, and really goes with the chicken.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I can order at the counter, at a touch-screen kiosk, or on my app. The app has kind of become the easiest option for me now that I've gotten the hang of reordering my usual. I try to limit my fried, fast-food meals, but Dave's is usually my first thought when I'm in the mood to indulge in that kind of treat. If you like spice, it's a must-try!“

“The taste is almost identical to Northridge BB.Q. The difference is that they don't provide the complimentary pickled radish. Also, I ordered two extra sides of pickled radish, but unlike Northridge BB.Q., the portions were very small.
I could tell they used clean oil just by looking at the chicken, and it tasted amazing.“

My 12yo said the chicken was tender inside and really good seasoning, he got Medium & hot (wasnt too spicy), fries were bland, needed some salt. Garlic knots were good, but too heavy on the seasoning. Sauce was ok, very tangy. He said the pizza was really good. Prices are a little high. It's a small place, about five tables inside, clean & located in a small plaza. Staff was very welcoming & pleasant.“

It was too late for doordash or a different service & I had a ways to go before my destination.I pulled up to the Lunch Box & they were still alive! Not only alive, but service with a smile as well! “They have the best gorditas around! It’s been a min since I’ve been back. Arrived on a Monday late afternoon and no one was there. Oh yes, call ahead if you want to order the gorditas. Like I mentioned previously they make it from scratch so it takes some time. The lady on the phone said my to go order would take 20 mins. Decided to eat it there and my heart melt! The salsa is bomb, the food is bussin, come support small businesses!

“Used to go to another kfc but the workers there were rude so I tried this kfc, I was pleasantly surprised. The workers were smiling, my food was hot and on time. I asked for sauce she gave me as many as I asked for did it with a smile and wasn't bothered at all. I will be returning here.“
