Came In with my uncle after hiking 7miles on the Auburn trail and had a really great experience! Our bartender Jeff who worked the bar Upstairs was absolutely amazing! Very personable, great energy, gave really good recommendations. Not just with my uncle and I, but with every customer that he interacted with! I was visiting from New York for the weekend and based off that service I would definitely come back! I hope the owner and Jeff read this post! She bragged about this place and twisted my arm. I am really glad to share those memories time spent. Her roommate likes hanging out there on a Sunday reading a good book. I could see that too!! “On, Friday, January 24th we came in as a large party (9 adults, and 10 children) with no reservation for a poorly planned birthday celebration. We came in around 4:30, and were told they didn't have the space to accommodate us right then, BUT they would have their large room available in an hour when the waitress running the room started her shift. I know we were so lucky it was available but I just appreciated so much being accommodated considering our poor planning. In the future we will be sure to make a reservation well in advance. We managed to kill an hour, and when we got back and seated in the large room, we realized quickly it was worth the wait. It's a large room with a door, that we had primarily to ourselves the entire time. Our amazing waitress got an order in quickly for breadsticks (which were so delicious) to keep the hungry kids settled. Which was very appreciated. She was just so patient and kind with our chaotic group. She seemed at ease, was friendly and kept everything organized. The food as always was delicious. Everything was so good. The salads, the wings, the pizzas... everything I've come to love at Old town pizza. My absolute favorite pizza place hands down. Aside from the food being consistently delicious, the service here is excellent. The staff is amazing... from the host to the pick up counter. This was my birthday pick and not only was I beyond happy with the experience, so was everyone in my party. Some were new customers who raved about the food and some had never experienced your sit down service before. Everyone walked away full and happy. I could not have asked for a better experience. I just feel bad I waited so long to write this. I will continue to rave about OTP to anyone who will listen and I will be back again soon. Thank you OTP Roseville.“

“Went to The Brass Tap last night for the first time and for my wife's early birthday celebration.

A few highlights:
1. Service and ambiance are fantastic, especially if you love sports. Service truly was the hero, but more on other good stuff and opportunities to come.

2. Drinks - My wife had a nice Chardonnay and I enjoyed one of the many fantastic brews on draft and in bottle. A small nit pick would be if you arrive during happy hour and last drinks just served outside of happy hour, as it was busy, let's not upcharge as if we arrived after happy hour ended.

3. Food - We ordered a small appetizer of loaded crinkle cut fries. If you don't like sour cream, make sure to ask for it to be left off, but bacon, cheese, and fries together were awesome. The Mrs asked for sliced jalapeños on top and wouldn't you know, they were freshly cut vs jar bought. Kudos and truly made the difference.

We moved into dinner and it didn't miss, in fact, my wife's soft tacos and my flat bread option were both very good. With the soft tacos, the chips and salsa (nice kick) were spot on!!

Not looking for an area to critique, but the restaurant could use some detail on the walls and a revamp of the falling apart and extremely dirty menus, but the outstanding service with a smile won over the visit.

Guess one last thing I would mention, as I overheard one employee try to explain the best they could do was window tint doing very little to step setting sun from blinding so many, would be to but rollable shades on all windows.

I thank you for making the dinner enjoyable for my wife and the birthday wishes, right after we paid, were a special touch as well.“

“We love Max's from SanFran. The food is very consistent, but the service has been questionalbe for the past 10 years of stopping in Auburn from Reno. Seems like they only cater to locals and don't care about travelers. Example: We were seated today. Cashier cleared and wiped table but did not set the table, give menus or even ask about drinks. Took another 15 minutes for our server to appear, and she only brought napkins. Took another 10 minutes to get menus and silverware. When the order was taken, food came fast. We only spent an hour there, but when you are paying 75.00 for lunch of 3 people, I expect a little more gratitude. I know serving is hard, and they depend on tips, but here it seems to be expected, and they don't want to earn it. We will continue to go there, but we know what to expect.

Parking: Available when place is not too busy.

The only negative to our dining experience is where we sat. It was busy and lots of foot traffic. Other than that perfect experience. And the price for 4 people came out to 30 a person. Will definitely add this to our sushi rotation.“
