“My husband and I have decided this is the best bar ever. We met some locals who were gardening out front (literally gardening lol) and they made us want to go in immediately. Speaking of, if anyone knows the gardeners name we cannot remember for the life of us! Which may be due to the very strong drinks and amazing 90s dance pop music. We felt immediately at home, the bartenders were lovely, and we can’t wait to come back.“

Every room is high-end designed with personal outdoor jacuzzis and there is an adorable gift shop with reasonably priced goods. Rio Nido is quickly becoming a premier destination to suit vacation needs in the central Russian River. Rio Nido Lodge’s events are tastefully decorated and I am proud to own a home in Rio Nido nearby the Lodge after watching it be vacant and neglected for a handful of years.“

“We love this place! The food is ALWAYS good; the service is always good, and we love that there is always a good band playing and we get to dance! Our first waiter was Ben and oh how we loved him so we always asked for him when we would go in. Sadly, Ben moved out of the area but then we got Danny! Another fantastic server and now we always ask for her! Can't vouch for the other servers but my guess would be that they are all good! Susie is the owner, and she is wonderful! She always mingles with her guests and even gets many of them up dancing! I hope she knows how much her regulars appreciate her! I'm so glad we found this place because we do not live out there. We live in Santa Rosa, and I must say it is always worth the trip out there for a great evening!“

“I’ve been coming here for over a decade (though only in fits and starts). Every time, I am very happy. I sit on the deck looking over the river, order a drink and a meal, and chat with friends and locals. I leave satisfied.

The staff? Good at what they do and occasionally exceptional at banter. The food? Average to outstanding. The menu has changed over the years. But it hasn’t gotten worse. If anything, it is what you would expect from bar food in this area and priced fairly. The wait time? Not sure why people are harping on this. Do you have a prior engagement at the opera? The beers? They are fine. The mixed drinks? They are also fine. The atmosphere? Unforced local/townie (and I don’t mean that as a slur). Sure, there are some ‘interesting’ people hanging out. But what do I care? I am a guest. Don’t poke the bear and don’t get the reaction. Poke the bear? Be prepared to engage with ‘interesting’ people who live here. Seems like common sense.

This last visit, I was with a group of nearly a dozen people. Some had been here before. Some hadn’t. Everyone had a great time. That is what a place like this, in a place like this, should do. Support locals. Get out-of-towners to spend their money and leave happy.

“We had a great time at the Bubble Bar. Sarah was a great hostess and has a large selection of bubbly delights. My wife (nicknamed Bubbles) loves dry bubbles, so we opted for a Spanish Cava Brut Nature (Nature meaning no residual sugar added). The Cava was delicious.

We sat outside initially, but moved inside when Sarah was visiting with some friends. Overall, nice bubbles and nice company. Thanks Sarah! We would strongly recommend a visit if you love Bubbles.“

“I’ve gone to the Forestville club several times and I always have a good time. Last night I went and when I left, I did not feel normal. I had a couple beers, but I felt very intoxicated and very unwell the next day which does not happen to me from two beers. Ladies watch yourselves don’t leave your drink unattended and watch them pour. I didn’t leave my beer but the bartenders back is to me when he poured, that’s not gonna happen again. I’m 57 and I know what a hangover feels like, this was not that.“

“Kudos to Jason for making this such a relaxed & enjoyable experience. I wasn't staying at the Hotel Healdsburg but I was drawn to its quiet seating area where I could chill for a bit. Once the bar was open, I availed myself of a lime-ade with black cherry ... tasty and very refreshing. Later, I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos which hit the spot.“

“Agave Mexican Restaurant has the best, most delicious dishes north of Marin. Delicious authentic homemade Mexican dishes. The best Mole sauce with almonds, herbs, chocolates, the best Mole sauce in the United States of America.“

“I always enjoy my time at the Jenner inn. The tree house cottage was the perfect, private space for a night of relaxation. The room has 1 queen bed a Kitchenette with a sink, mini fridge and microwave. Satellite Tv and WiFi. Looking forward to my next stay.“

“Stopped in while visiting Healdsburg for the Jordan Winery Halloween party and had an awesome time. Classic dive bar vibe with friendly staff and a laid-back crowd. Drinks were great, service was quick, and everyone made us feel welcome. The best part, I accidentally left my credit card behind, and they went out of their way to mail it back to me. That kind of customer service is rare these days. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in town!“
