“Been going there since I was young and they still got it. Pupusas fairly priced compared to how much they are in LA. Waitresses are super welcoming. But I do recommend that you know how to speak a bit Spanish so you can order comfortably :)“
“Sivar Treats has an amazing staff and delicious food. There are many tasty treats: pupusas, plátano, el caldo de gallina, los postres. My family hired them for a baby shower and they were professional , kind , and the food was perfect . They have another location opening in Silverlake too!“
“Had a day off so my BF and I looked up brunch spots and found this gem. It was so good and he said he would come back too. We ordered the pupusa's with scrambled eggs and I ordered a caramel iced coffee and he got some cucumber juice. We definitely suggest this place and we will definitely be returning.“
“OMG did I find my new favorite spot! I was too busy eating that I forgot to take pictures. The place is so cute and the service was amazing! What we had : 3 Pupusas Beans and cheese 2 Revuelta pupusa Eggs with Machaca Red Cheese Enchiladas Large Ensalada drink“
“Great service, very welcoming and although it's a market there is plenty of seating. Pupusa we're fresh, generous, and delicious. Curtido was just ok .. could have used a little more flavor.. missing some of that zing .. a little bland .. had to add a lot of hot sauce. steak with onions was generous and very flavorful. the casamiento (salvadoran rice and beans) was just mash ... not fluffy and light. Very dissatisfied... nothing like home .... Will return for pupusas ... maybe ... cuz the curtido is what makes it ... and curtido is lacking. Would like to try the plantains and beans ,. Definitely come check it out ... lots of options ... i only tried a few.“
“The waiter recommended the Caldo de Gallina and Wow great recommendation…it was super tasty and just the right amount of serving and the price was fair. The service was wonderful I would recommend this place if your looking for fresh clean meal.“
“This place was great. Delicious food, great service from both the waiter and the cooks, and good environment. We all ordered pupusas and I ordered a sope also. They offer vegan food, just by changing some of the items by not having cheese or sour cream or meat. Their beans are yummy and the plantains are super yummy. Everything tasted good, including their coffee. We will definitely be back here to eat in the future.Vegetarian options: You can get anything here without meat.“
“I came here a day after I had visited the VCHOS food truck for pupusas. The food truck charged $10 for TWO pupusas. This place only charges $3.50 each! I initially thought for $3.50 they can't be better than VCHOS, but they ARE!!! I ordered 6 Revueltas to go and they were amazing! The curtido and salsa roja are sooooo good too! You might wait a little bit but it's totally worth it because the food is made fresh to order and HOT! The ladies there are really nice too! They only accept cash or zelle though so be prepared for that. It's a total hole in the wall not visible from main streets, but those are always the BEST places! Now I know where I will spend my time waiting for my car when it's being washed at the Alamo. And I will not be going back to the food truck. Give 'em a try!“
“Now that this is Jenny’s Kitchen I decided to order some of their new items. I ordered 2 pupusas, side of extra crispy fries, and a double cheese burger with bacon combo. Only $20! And the food was amazing! The pupusas were delicious, the bean and cheese one was probably the best I’ve ever had! I’m definitely coming here again and again since I live right next to it. It’s only two workers but that didn’t stop them from treating my order with so much attention and care. I’m so excited for this place!“
“Machaca, bean and cheese, quesabirra tacos are delicious. Caldo de res had a little too many pieces of fat according to my dieting wife. Phone order pick up went smooth and quick. Definitely will be returning. Anyone know how's their menudo? Taco Tuesday specials advertised.“
“The pupusa’s has always been good and idk of just me but I feel they add more flavor now I always get the cheese and beans and the pork with cheese and beans. The black beans and rice mix was good too. The only thing that sucks about the place is the parking lot it’s always full and it makes it hard if you just want pick up and “
“This is another review of a popup that I tried as a result of them having been at Trademark Brewing a couple months ago (being one of my favorite local breweries, and a great place to pair beer with all manner of types of food, as their food vendor changes daily.) I will note, the pupusas themselves (that is, the exterior corn-dough part) were a little dry compared to my favorite ones (at our local farmers market), but the pork pupusa had a lot of pork in it, and the pork was pretty tasty, pulled pork-style pork, and not too salty (I feel like that's a fairly common problem with meat pupusas). Tons of great, melty cheese, too. Couldn't really taste the loroco in the loroco pupusa though, mostly just tasted like cheese, so if they were back in the future, I'd definitely go for two meat ones. More flavorful curtido than my favorite farmers market vendor, too (and I like their curtido a lot - Vchos' was even better, though.) Also loved that, for only a quarter more pupusa, you can also add jalapenos, which if you like peppers, I would solidly recommend. I also added a side of plantains for $1.50, which was the perfect amount to accompany the pupusas. Great plantains, too. So, overall, I'd say, while they could've been a little less dry, I *would* definitely pay $11 for that meal again ($9 for two pupusas + adding jalapenos to both + plantains) if I saw them at Trademark again.“
“I definitely recommend it… a horchata worthy of being called “Salvadoran horchata”On my visit the cook had the seasoning of our land ? the girl who charges was very friendly, everything was very clean, quiet atmosphere…The only thing a little high are the prices $ for the amount of food served in an order.“
“I met up with some family in Whittier area and eow. The food was delicious and I LOVED the guanabana (soursop) juice! I’ve never seen it available anywhere before! We had about 7 people in our group and everyone loved their food! Pretty much everyone got pupusas and my partner got the chow-mein which I hear was surprisingly delicious as well. Someone else had told him about it. We live far, but when we’re in the area we’re definitely making a visit.“
“I've only tried the pupusas from this place, and they are pretty good compared to other restaurants in the area. So this review is for the pupusas ONLY. having said that, they taste authentic and they are generous with their sauce and curtido. Because of this, I am willing now to try other stuff there. Since the most basic of their cuisine is good, I want to assume the other plates are good as well. Will definitely update. For now food is a 5 service is a 4.“
“We got a revuelta and chicharrón with cheese, it was packed with filling and was so cheesy and gooey (in the best way possible) we also got "Fresco de Maracuyá" aka passion fruit water. It was so refreshing and not overly sweet! This is not fast food, they are a small business making your food fresh, please keep this in mind. I recommend ordering ahead of time on the phone, our order was ready in about 10 minutes!“
“Food is always fresh and very tasty. Our usuals are Plato de carne asada, Torta de carne asada & Sopes de carne asada. Red salsa is delicious. Green salsa not so much. Their breakfast is always a hit as well. And their prices are the best. Check them out!“
