About Johnny’s Half Moon Bay

Johnny's Half Moon Bay is a charming and popular restaurant known for its delightful food and friendly service. The restaurant has a cool diner vibe, modernized to attract guests. The Tweety bowl, with its flavorful mushrooms, is a customer favorite, while the highly recommended crème brûlée French toast and Old School Benny, an egg Benedict dish, are also praised. The staff are attentive and efficient, and the restaurant's attention to detail, such as fresh cut flowers in the restroom and presenting the check in a Winnie the Pooh book, adds to the memorable experience. The food is fresh and exceptional, with guests praising the best waffles of their life, the smash burger, and the fried egg sandwich on sourdough. The crispy not greasy onion rings are also recommended, as are the very tasty mimosas. The service is great and quick, and the atmosphere is clean and inviting. If you're in the area, Johnny's Half Moon Bay is a recommended destination for breakfast or brunch.

We were in half moon bay for a couple days and got the gift certificate from Johnny's from a friend.
We were there early and food was good and ample, atmosphere was pleasant, staff attentive.
I could see it as a locals place.Although as visitors , they welcomed us as well
I've been to this location twice now (although I just heard they opened a new spot in my area, in San Mateo).
