Off rip, I knew it was gonna be bomb because my boyfriend actually has great taste and recommended it. I mean why would I date him otherwise? But I still had to be the one to taste it to believe it. Those biscuits put them on the MAP! I had lost faith in biscuits & gravy in this city. I have been let down time and time again because it was so weak. But these gave me hope for the future 🥹 I could see this place being my breakfast new normal. So if you ever want to stop by there, hit me up beforehand and we can brunch together🫶🏼🍽️ this is the type of place I would have FOMO over“

“My husband and I stopped here for breakfast. This restaurant has been around for years and known for their breakfast. The food was good, service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. “WOW! If you are from LA or visiting LA this is a MUST! My dad has been eating here for 40 years and called me to meet him for lunch yesterday at Fromin’s! I work less than 10 mins away and dad asked if he could order for me, so I arrived and a Open Faced Hot Turkey Sandwich was put on the table the second I walked in by a Older bald gentleman who had personality and character that was so warming… he made me smile and like I belonged! The Hot Turkey Sandwich was smothered in Gravy, not too much but not too little, perfect! I had a nice big helping of Mashed Potatoes on the side smothered in Turkey Gravy which was OMG good! I can not say enough about how amazing the Turkey was! I had a side of fresh fruit which was also plentiful… and it didn’t disappoint either, all the fruit was fresh cut and super sweet! I would eat here every single day if I could, do not let the prices scare you…when it comes to good food in LA, anyone should understand to turn a profit you have to charge. I believe that hot turkey sandwich was about $27 but like I said I would eat it every single day if I could!
To top it all off when I was leaving I met one of the owners which was a lady who said she owned this place for 40 years as well! She was super nice, but I could tell she was all about business as she should be!
I just wanted to make sure I reviewed this place because it isn’t very often you find a special place like this… and when I find a special place I like to review it and make it known because I want it to stay open forever! Don’t think about it, JUST GO AND TRUST ME! I’m 260 pounds for a reason, I like to eat!!!! A huge plus for me as well was knowing this place is the Definition of Kosher! Everything is fresh! It was a Privilege to eat here and I deeply disrespect any person who says otherwise!“

“I just ate here for my birthday on Saturday. I have been to Belize and this food took me right back there. The owner Leslie, is from Belize and is very friendly and attentive, as his the staff. Phenomenal food, and large portions. Get the sampler platter for your appetizer, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are ever in Gardena, you should stop here. Gardena Cinema is a few blocks away, and is also fantastic. The restaurant closes at 7pm, and most shows start at 7:30, so it makes for the perfect evening.“

“Excellent ambiance and service. Stopped by for a quick weekday brunch and our group thought the portions were great, well cooked, and appreciated the side items as well! Bakery items (cinnamon bun, cookies, muffin) were all tasty and fresh. Would recommend.“

“I have been craving pancakes, and they had a sing breakfast served all day, so I stopped to have breakfast.
Thank you to the lady who gave me my food she was very nice and friendly while the morena at the register wasn't having a good day.

“Came here for breakfast while traveling in Washington. Establishment seems to be well managed and well maintained. Matthew was our server and did an excellent job of taking care of us. We ordered the Breakfast Sampler, which I believe used to be called the Grand Slam. It came with two eggs, three meats, hash browns, and buttermilk pancakes. Breakfast of champions! We were quite satisfied when we left to hit the road to Forks, WA. We would definitely return if we were ever in the area.“

“This is a classic diner, locally owned with a big menu and a very solid breakfast. The shakes are old school with the chocolate shakes made with chocolate ice cream. There is very little turn over in the friendly staff which makes me think the owners try to do right by them. Given its aesthetic, there have also been a few movies filmed here including most recently, Wolfs, with George Clooney and Brad Pitt. The booth is marked.“
