“Come with me to this local favorite dining spot in Balboa Island for more than 35 years. Casually cozy and comfortable.I had:1. Fresh blueberry pancake - pancakes with syrup, two eggs, bacon, ham2. Chips & salsa3. Crock of french onion soup4. New England clam chowder5. Fish & chips6. Old school club7. Hot chocolate - perfect on a cold day!Amazing and warm service, really makes my visit lovely.“
“I'm always surprised to see the few stars on this place. I always go for the pastor street tacos. Service is great, people are friendly and ready to recommend things. Granted not every item in the menu is amazing, but that is every place. If you want some good pastor tacos and good guacamole, you will like this place.“
“Love their pupusas and anything with plantains. This place is great all around, customer service included. Every time we call our order in they are friendly and accommodating. I do wish they were open a bit later, but the food is just too good to knock a star off for hours of operation.“
“I always liked this cafe for their breakfast and lunch menu. So I thought I'd take my granddaughter here for a breakfast, she really likes this place too. She ordered the pancake special with a side of hash browns and extra egg. So much food she took some home. I had the the veggie skillet, so delicious, with a side of one pancake. Oh my goodness, that one pancake was eight dollars! The tab for our breakfast for was over $70 and damm that a lot. I know prices have gone up, but it's gonna be a while before I go back.“
