“This place has a great variety of Mediterranean food, including delicious shawarma, kabobs, and plenty of other classic dishes. Everything is really good, but if you really want to try something authentic—something that honestly, only Sudanese people really know about I highly recommend trying Agashe.
Agashe is a popular Sudanese street-food tradition featuring thinly sliced beef or chicken, heavily coated in a flavorful spice rub made with roasted ground peanuts, chili, garlic, ginger, and cumin. The meat is then traditionally grilled over hot hardwood charcoal, giving it an incredible smoky flavor.
I know the combination of meat marinated with peanuts might sound a little weird at first 😂, but trust me, this meat is beyond! Ask for it with the spicy sauce and onions that usually come with the order. My looooord! 🔥
I don’t think Agashe is actually listed on the menu, so make sure to ask for it specifically.
One important thing: Agashe takes at least 30 minutes to prepare, so I highly recommend calling ahead and placing your order before you stop by. It will be well worth the wait—you will not regret it!

“A small and quick French inspired bistro in Westwood. It’s not a full service restaurant, you order at the counter, they give you a number, and then they bring the food to your table. Inside is not very large and the tables are pretty close together, so it would not be suited for large groups. Service was very fast so if you were in a rush, this is the sort of place to stop, but also many were sitting in and working so you don’t have to rush out if you don’t want to. The server behind the counter was polite and everything that we ordered came out fairly fast. Parking in this area can be a bit of a pain. The best option will be metered street parking or one of the plots.

For this visit, I chose the Croque Monsieur and enjoyed it. I opted for the turkey instead of the ham and thought it was a nice change. I would like them to use more beschemel sauce and toasted the meat or bread a bit more but still, it was enjoyable. I would suggest adding avocado as well. “THE SERVICE.
First off, when i went to Beckett's at the LAX Hyatt, I was warmly greeted (by a specific gentleman) as soon as I walked in. Upon me mentioning I was doing takeout, I was still treated as if I were dining in.
A really cool guy named Marcus, was my server and he was so sweet and genuinely kind. He answered ALL of my little probing questions about the menu and he didn't get annoyed.
Marcus was very professional and knowledgeable about the menu.
He forgot my BBQ sauce 😄 but I'll still come back, just because of his wonderful service!!

THE FOOD.
I ordered the Veggie Medly flatbread and a Veggie burger nad fries (i wish the fries were krinkle-cut).
They both were delicious.
The flatbread was actually a little bigger than I'd imagine and I could've actually just ordered THAT alone. You get a cool amount of food for the price.“
