“Truly incredible. I found out about this place from the LA food podcast, and it really delivered. It looks like a hole in the wall, but you walk in and are greeted by music and delicious smells. The staff are very attentive and nice and our pizza was warmed up quickly. It was fun being there, we got to see the pizza getting made and someone shaking bread and pesto in a bucket. The actual pizza was delicious. Even the cheese pizza was so so flavourful and had such a good texture. Definitely will be coming back!“

“We ordered 4 Taiyakis for only $12. Then the owner was so sweet! She offered a 5th one for free. Got our fresh Taiyakis after pager rang quickly! All flavors were great: Red bean, apple, custard cream, mango, and chocolate filling within freshly baked crunchy shells. We almost wanted to order another round if we were not on the way of leaving Little Tokyo Market. Must try again next time!

WOW!!! This was our first stop coming into town and wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! The second the first bite of Alex’s incredible burrito and street tacos hit my mouth there was no going back. His ability to create such incredible flavors in not only the burrito itself, but all of the add ons and sauces as well is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Would go again, again, AND AGAIN! 😋 Not to mention Alex’s ability to make you feel at ease and have a great time in such a comfortable setting.

“Hey you guys I'm back with another review. Los Gatos Tacos was very much on point. Yall know I like delivery too so this time I ordered delivery. The driver did pissed me off because they sat my food in front of the door with no call or knock, but I was eyeing the app because I was hungry. It was around 730/8pm on a Saturday when I ordered. Anyway it arrived still hot and ready to eat. I spent like 60.00. I got the 3 queso birria tacos with the consome 3 asada tacos, the birria quesadilla and the tapatio birria ramen. It was so delicious you guys I dipped the tacos in the consome and it was ?... the ramen was very good the birria was seasoned very well. I almost drank all the consome ? ? had to save some for my kid, so I suggest if you like dipping and sauce like me get extra consome for sure. I will be dining in this restaurant very soon.“

“Went kinda late night after the gym bc I was craving some sushi and when I arrived it seemed like a little hole in the wall. Honestly the chef is the cutest most awesome humble guy. He brought our food out and there was a little heart on the plate made of eel sauce and spicy mayo and he said don’t break it. Fish was fresh and the vibe was immaculate actually so surprised. “Well, to be honest I went to pick up a meal for someone. I tried so hard to find the building but could not. I drove around a lot, then I notice a food vehicle. I saw the name of the company I was told to go to, so I jumped out and ran over to a man close to it, and he notified me that the food service vehicle he was in was where I was to pick up the food I was there to pick up for their customer. He was so very, very helpful to me that I was thankful to have stopped at the right place. I must say that the person I told I would pick it up for loved and enjoyed the food a lot. So, now I know where to go, and I am always very impressed with excellent customer service, which I did receive there.“

“Really yummy breakfast burrito! The Rico Suave is what I got and it’s their go to. For $13+ I wish it be a little bit bigger for a breakfast burrito. I used to go to Tacos Villa Corona in Atwater Village all the time and they charge $7 for theirs, so that’s what I’m used to. Service was ok…for a breakfast joint like this you’d think they’d be super friendly or energetic. All and all it’s worth trying next time you’re in Beverlywood/Beverly Hills area.“

“We had an early dinner here on a Wednesday prior to a theatre tech rehearsal. Despite the troubled neighborhood, this place is an urban oasis and has a safe parking lot. We told our kind wait person, Sierra, about our time crunch. Meals came out within 10 minutes of giving our order. The gourmet Mexican food is mucho delicious and the happy hour prices (on both food and drink) made our experience a delight.“

It can be a bit intimidating for people not familiar and a bit simple but the effort to prepare takes a lot. For the price, I wish it came with a side of rice or something to complement it. I really enjoyed the Tofu and Eggplant dish also. The Eggplant was super unique and cooked in a way I haven’t tried before and was very flavorful with a dark miso crust. The Corn and Sausage was unique too and presentation was pretty cool. I really enjoyed the Strawberry Shaved Ice for dessert. Great way to end!! Overall, the food is on the lighter side so if you’re looking for hearty or indulgent food this may not be the best pick. They serve smaller plates that are good to share between two people or a small group. Service was great though and super friendly.“
