“i came in on a friday night around 7 ish on 5/8 and the cashier was so sweet and attentive. food was good but i really just wanted to write this review so the manager knows that whoever was working the front tonight is an amazing employee and has great energy.“

“Went here with my mother on Friday, September 12, 2025. They have so many delicious looking selections! My mother decided to get the Hawaiian BBQ Trio. It is $15.99 plus taxes. You are provided three different types of meat- pork, beef and chicken and macaroni and rice. I chose the fried rice. It was $13.99 plus taxes. They only advertise the Shrimp Fried Rice and since I'm not a Shrimp fan I asked if I could substitute it for a different meat. The attendant said sure would you like beef or chicken. I opted for the beef. She said no problem and substituted the meat for no extra charge. The food came out very hot within 10 minutes! They also provide bar-b-que sauce for each meal, napkins and forks. We both thought that our food tasted really good. We would definitely go back.“

“Fast casual Hawaiian spot across the Lowe’s complex. Came here for dinner with my family and got two orders of the BBQ mix plates which come with kalbi, chicken, and beef. The mac salad was well mixed and they give a generous amount of rice. The meats were a teeny bit too salty but were still good. Two plates between the four of us were a good amount of food. Credit cards accepted. You order first and pay at the counter before receiving your food. There’s indoor seating available and you can also get takeout. You can call ahead to order as well. Parking lot available.“

“Worth the flight and drive out. The closest thing to Hawaiian poke (if you’ve had it before). Quality of the fish is awesome, ingredients super fresh, service amazing. Quantity is bountiful. Not a lot of space to sit and eat there but it’s perfect for a car picnic or drive it down to the beach.“

“Last week I was traveling through LA on my way to Santa Barbara. I had some time to kill so I looked up Poke. Came across this amazing place! I am admittedly new to Poke. The staff took good care of me and I wound up having such a hard decision. I think the spicy Poke might have been might absolute favorite. I can’t wait for my next trip to LA so I can stop there again!“

“We found this place by of chance needing to use the bathroom whilst walking around Venice and what a great find. Staff are lovely and welcoming and attended to us well. The place was very clean and the food was just right and so tasty. I will be returning when I visit again.“

“Took the fambam here after coming home from Kauai and man o man the Loco moco here was way better than what we had in Kauai. The poke is fresh and very tasty. Come get you some great food. On Tuesday they have buy one pound of poke get one free. That's crazy, but this is awesome.“

I drove up from Orange County and, the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an ALOHA and watched the place get packed. It was a perfect place to meet up with friends! Spam & eggs with rice for breakfast hit the spot. Malasadas are fresh and warm! Then they added live musicians playing Hawaiian music and I didn't want to leave. “The fried shrimp is absolutely fantastic. Lightly breaded and good size shrimps . I Loved their special sauces as well . Also we got the teriyaki steak it was tender and they have great teriyaki sauce . The staff was very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend“

“I tried this place for the first time today, and I am very happy I did.
It is a hole in the wall type place with Hawaiian style poke & other Hawaiian dishes.
I had the sweet & spicy ahi and salmon combination with rice, and it was excellent, in my opinion. Also, the service was quick and really friendly.
I plan on coming back soon!“

“This is by far my favorite poke on the mainland. I’ve had a lot of poke but after having sea salt I don’t even bother trying anything else. They have amazing rice bases and great variety of fish and sauces. Could not recommend it enough 10/10

“The plaza is nice and clean, with very good ventilation that helps not to mix food odors.

The dishes are not expensive and they are vast.

Today I have the combo with 2 proteins and the shrimps were sooo good, the teriyaki chicken was ok. The fried rice was great but a little bit too oily for me.“

“Visited twice, one for dine-in and the other for takeout. Both times were great and fast service. This place gives me tons of nostalgia when I lived in CA a couple of decades ago. I got chicken mini katsu, mini chicken katsu curry, and spam musubi. Finished the musubis but not the katsu- even the mini is a huge portion. For the price, you really cant beat it!“

“Tasty Hawaiian in El Segundo offers delicious, well-seasoned, and flavorful dishes. We ordered the Loco Moco, Garlic Chicken and Chicken Katsu. The staff was pleasant and friendly, making the experience enjoyable. The decor and dining area are very nice, though it does get quite cold inside, so bring a sweater or jacket if you plan to dine in. They also have a wide variety of Ling Hing snacks, which is a nice bonus. Overall, a great spot with tasty food and a welcoming atmosphere.“

“15+ years and this is the only L&L location I’ll go to. Located at Torrance Crossroads, easy to find, easy to park.

The owners and staff are the best here. What can I say, they’re always super welcoming and friendly, service is quick and accommodating.

Food-wise, you really can’t go wrong with any of their options, it’s perfect for any occasion. We’ve ordered their catering options as well for parties (half, full, etc.) and everyone loves it.

Price to portion ratio is excellent, especially the portions are very generous. We tend to always take it for take-out and one thing we always get is the mini chicken katsu plate with double macaroni. The mini is a lot, I’ll have leftovers for another meal. Crispy chicken katsu with the delicious sauce. The macaroni is great to pair with the katsu.

The bbq mix plate is delicious as well, the proteins (chicken, been and short rib kalbi) is well marinated with lots of flavor. I don’t think I even need any extra sauce with them. I do prefer the chicken over the beef, but I’m biased and not the biggest of fan of bulgogi style beef.

Other items I’ve enjoyed on their menu include spam musubi, pineapple chicken and the mahi mahi.

There’s really a lot of options. It’s a quick dining option with quality food.“

“Well, to be honest I went to pick up a meal for someone. I tried so hard to find the building but could not. I drove around a lot, then I notice a food vehicle. I saw the name of the company I was told to go to, so I jumped out and ran over to a man close to it, and he notified me that the food service vehicle he was in was where I was to pick up the food I was there to pick up for their customer. He was so very, very helpful to me that I was thankful to have stopped at the right place. I must say that the person I told I would pick it up for loved and enjoyed the food a lot. So, now I know where to go, and I am always very impressed with excellent customer service, which I did receive there.“
