“i came in on a friday night around 7 ish on 5/8 and the cashier was so sweet and attentive. food was good but i really just wanted to write this review so the manager knows that whoever was working the front tonight is an amazing employee and has great energy.“

“Went here with my mother on Friday, September 12, 2025. They have so many delicious looking selections! My mother decided to get the Hawaiian BBQ Trio. It is $15.99 plus taxes. You are provided three different types of meat- pork, beef and chicken and macaroni and rice. I chose the fried rice. It was $13.99 plus taxes. They only advertise the Shrimp Fried Rice and since I'm not a Shrimp fan I asked if I could substitute it for a different meat. The attendant said sure would you like beef or chicken. I opted for the beef. She said no problem and substituted the meat for no extra charge. The food came out very hot within 10 minutes! They also provide bar-b-que sauce for each meal, napkins and forks. We both thought that our food tasted really good. We would definitely go back.“

“Fast casual Hawaiian spot across the Lowe’s complex. Came here for dinner with my family and got two orders of the BBQ mix plates which come with kalbi, chicken, and beef. The mac salad was well mixed and they give a generous amount of rice. The meats were a teeny bit too salty but were still good. Two plates between the four of us were a good amount of food. Credit cards accepted. You order first and pay at the counter before receiving your food. There’s indoor seating available and you can also get takeout. You can call ahead to order as well. Parking lot available.“

“This poke is a class above all of the other shops, even in Hawaii. I think what makes them stand out is their sauces - every poke shop these days has good fresh tuna, but the flavors on this are just so good. The cucumbers are also a favorite of ours.“

“We found this place by of chance needing to use the bathroom whilst walking around Venice and what a great find. Staff are lovely and welcoming and attended to us well. The place was very clean and the food was just right and so tasty. I will be returning when I visit again.“

“Definitely the place to be on Sunday fun day! If you miss home in Hawaii, you'll feel like you are home not just because of the ono food but the incredibly courteous and caring staff. I drove up from Orange County and, the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an ALOHA and watched the place get packed. It was a perfect place to meet up with friends! Spam & eggs with rice for breakfast hit the spot. Malasadas are fresh and warm! Then they added live musicians playing Hawaiian music and I didn't want to leave. Highly recommend and plan to return again!“

“The fried shrimp is absolutely fantastic. Lightly breaded and good size shrimps . I Loved their special sauces as well . Also we got the teriyaki steak it was tender and they have great teriyaki sauce . The staff was very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend“

“I got the torta cubana and my girlfriend got the Suiza because she’s vegetarian. We both really enjoyed our food. Great experience. Only complaint is that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH. It’s 2026…set up a Venmo/PayPal or something. The atmosphere is nothing to rave about. I was going to give them 4 stars because of the cash issue but my girlfriend really wanted me to give them 5 stars so here we are.“

“Cherrystones catered my brother's celebration of life memorial last Sunday at the Toyota Meeting Hall in Torrance. We were about 120 people. The food and presentation was excellent. We opted for the Kalua Pork and the Teriyaki chicken, both delicious. Loved the broccoli salad and Mac salad. Our guests raved about the food. Cherrystones catered my dad's memorial in 2016 and the food was excellent then. I would not hesitate to use them again if I needed a catering service. Thank you Cherrystones for doing my brother proud.“

“This is by far my favorite poke on the mainland. I’ve had a lot of poke but after having sea salt I don’t even bother trying anything else. They have amazing rice bases and great variety of fish and sauces. Could not recommend it enough 10/10

“I tried this place for the first time today, and I am very happy I did.
It is a hole in the wall type place with Hawaiian style poke & other Hawaiian dishes.
I had the sweet & spicy ahi and salmon combination with rice, and it was excellent, in my opinion. Also, the service was quick and really friendly.
I plan on coming back soon!“

“Very friendly staff! They are always very nice and friendly. The food is delicious and you get large servings compared to other places! The atmosphere is great! Sometimes it gets a little busy, but their service is very fast! Love eating there!“

“There’s certain l&l’s that are great out of all the ones I’ve been to this one is third in my book.
The only thing I eat all the time is chicken katsu curry so that’s what I base my review on.
I got the regular size and as always it was a lot of food enough for two people or two meals.

“The menu is small but very focused. It became very apparent why because as we eating da Ono grindz, we saw how busy you got. By the time we were all pau, everyone was served! “Closest thing to Zippys with better seasoning and portions of meat I've found. While not exactly a plate lunch as it's not traditionally in the styrofoam it closely represents zippys with higher quality when compared to fare back home. U gotta navigate yourself here since it's in a food hall in a corporate park but free parking helps. Everything is reasonably priced and they have a wide selection especially with their garlic chicken and Portuguese sausage which is hard to find at most places. Solid place that I don't mind returning to just wish they had more locations in oc but I get it.“

“This is my second time ordering from LuLuBowls (one was on postmates), but this was my first time ordering directly from the LuLuBowls website directly (honestly a much better, and streamlined experience).The food quality is superb, I would like to see a larger portion of rice (or the meat add on) in the bowls in the future. The food feels “clean”, not greasy, and is light enough to make you feel satisfied without feeling like you ate too much. The bowls I tried, were all bursting with surprising umami flavors!
