“Good food and plenty of free parking. It is also close to the LAX Airport which makes it convenient for y’all to stop by on your way there or on your way back to y’all’s city if y’all are just dropping off someone. Price is very reasonable. They also have exclusive restroom just for the customers, I just hope they can make it a lil bit cleaner. They have friendly service but their food takes a lil bit long and limited seating inside. Aside from that no issues.Definitely recommended!“

“I had the BBQ short ribs. Nice portion and very tasty. The rice was mush but I did go over there at 230 in the afternoon. Kind of a weird time so I won't knock off any stars for that. Short ribs were the super star and the reason I went. The guy working the front was very nice and the place looked clean.“

“Fast casual Hawaiian spot across the Lowe’s complex. Came here for dinner with my family and got two orders of the BBQ mix plates which come with kalbi, chicken, and beef. The mac salad was well mixed and they give a generous amount of rice. The meats were a teeny bit too salty but were still good. Two plates between the four of us were a good amount of food. Credit cards accepted. You order first and pay at the counter before receiving your food. There’s indoor seating available and you can also get takeout. You can call ahead to order as well. Parking lot available.“

This small grab 'n go restaurant has a line to order. With only a couple tables outside and a small parking lot, it is not a place to stay and eat at. However, the staff are friendly and most importantly, food is sooo good.“

“Last week I was traveling through LA on my way to Santa Barbara. I had some time to kill so I looked up Poke. Came across this amazing place! I am admittedly new to Poke. The staff took good care of me and I wound up having such a hard decision. I think the spicy Poke might have been might absolute favorite. “Loved the food here! We ordered the beef ribs, grilled salmon, and a couple of poke dishes. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and SO flavorful; even our young kid liked them instantly. Maybe they smoke the ribs a little too. Whatever this shop does it's "broke da mouth" good. The salmon was delicious. The poke flavors were amazing. We even liked the mac salad and I normally don't enjoy that. Even details down to dressing the rice with dried seaweed was appreciated by us all.

My wife was super happy to be able to sample so many poke flavors as she was ordering. This is our new "go to" Hawaiian place because it's some of the best; even compared to on the islands. Also, the prices are quite reasonable. We can't wait to go back.“

“Waited to be seated but no one showed up so I decided to get takeout, and when I got to the takeout are the service was good and food didn’t take long either.

So I got the BBQ chicken and fried chicken plate and it was pretty good, Mac salad was ok and the coleslaw was great not gonna lie. The inside of the restaurant is really nice and they have a huge dessert shelf with a bunch of dry and refrigerated sweets.“

“After fasting for a blood test, it was nice to get a satisfying breakfast. Corned beef hash, over easy eggs and a Span Musubi. (skipped the 2 scoops of rice and bread roll... too many carbs.) Server was sweet. Price was average for the area. Seemed to adhere well to pandemic protocols for restaurant with was assuring. I recommend this place for breakfast, for sure.“

“Tried it for the first time today with the hubby and we were blown away. I had the Hulu Chicken with salad, rice, green beans, and broccoli. Chicks had a delicious flavor. Ginger salad dressing was so good. The high school kid who works here was so personable and you can tell he has a good work ethic. My dish was only $12! Our new favorite place! Can’t wait to come back and try the poke. Hubby loved his Hulu chicken wrap!

“This is a new restaurant in our neighborhood and they serve our families two favorite types of food. Hawaiian and Mediterranean and they do both very well!

After ordering they gave me a free sample, which was literally a meal all its own, to nibble on while I waited for my order.

I'm incredibly impressed with this new hole in the wall shop.

“If you are looking for a taste of Hawaii while in Long Beach, go here! Kind, friendly, and delicous. The only thing that would make it better was a little better atmosphere because there was a lot of boxes everywhere, but the food makes up for that. I got it to go and drove about 10 minutes home and it stayed warm and was delicious at home. So good!I ordered the Kama'aina Plate but I was not sure how to pronounce it and I said a #1. I did not realize there were other #1's! The older lady that was helping me was kind and understanding when I noticed she was making a different order. I said "Oh I think I ordered wrong, I wanted the pork and laulau" and she corrected it no problem.The food was AMAZING. Poke was fresh and flavorful, the kalua pork was delicious, but the laulau was absolutely amazing, melt in the mouth and delicious.“

“So the brother at the front counter, his name is Joel and he was extremely awesome and very helpful and helping me pick out what I wanted and his customer service was awesome. I really appreciated his care of detail and he made me feel just at home restaurant is very clean very Ohana and very well-maintained. They had a lot of good selection of meats, sides and drinks as well and I got a half-and-half, pineapple, chicken and lava Katsu chicken with Mac and veggies. It tastes so freaking good. It was awesome and they give you a lot of options on sauces as well but yeah, I recommend this place if you want real good authentic Hawaiian food so yeah it was a 10 out of 10 and I definitely recommend this location without a doubt, aloha and Mahalo.“

“We were so stoked to find out Beach Hut still existed when we moved back to the area! Still the same menu as 20 years ago and still amazing Hawaiian comfort food. Great friendly staff in a much easier location to park then back in the day in Hermosa. We will be back many many more times!

The chicken katsu on garlic noodles was a knockout - the chicken was incredibly crispy and flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly garlicky and addictive. The furikake chicken was another winner, with a satisfying crunch and a sprinkle of that magical Hawaiian seasoning.

“We were just passing through and looking for something close to our hotel, and so happy we found this spot! Because it was our first time, we got complimentary chili - definitely see why it’s 7 times award winning! Very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and very accommodating to make sure our order is to our liking. We had 2 bento boxes, Kaula pork and bbq pork. The portion sizes were perfect and the meat was very flavorful. The sides of macaroni and cucumber salad were just as good. We also had one of their many specials of the day, fish tacos, which were incredibly fresh and simple, exactly what I want for fish tacos. Next time we’re visiting LA, we’ll be sure to be back!“

“I’m amazed. I was just passing by and decided to have Maui Chicken. DELICIOUS! I ordered salmon and avocado poke bowl, 100% recommend this place. Service amazing, they are very polite. It was a very hot day, I forgot to order water or anything to drink, the owner gave me a cold water bottle before leaving and said “it’s a very hot day outside, have some water”. They literally treat you like family. I saved this place in my favorites, I’m coming back. It wasn’t the free water for me, it was how kind they are here, they are laughing all the time, very nice energy. Food is AMAZING, taste and freshness are incredible. Portions are perfect, not too much rice. The plate comes with rice, A LOT of toppings, salad and mac&cheese for $19.
