“First time visiting Rosecrans Kitchen, and we definitely want to come back! Despite the modest strip mall location, everything we ordered was fantastic. The lamb chops were amazingly good as were the chicken and beef kebabs. Very generous portions of meat, hummus, salad, pita bread, and rice pilaf. JoJo, the owner is very friendly, gives excellent service and is an amazing chef. Highly recommended!“

“One of the best meals I’ve had in LA. The food was exceptional and had so many amazing flavors. I went here on a date and the atmosphere was perfect. It is all outside but the heaters kept it toasty and it’s very picturesque. Our favorite things we got were the yams, and there was a delicious mussels special that was SO good. Extra bonus because they have a parking lot. Will definitely be coming back many times!“

Laith's Café also makes its own assorted fresh fruit health juices, and markets fine coffees mixed with cardamon, cacao, and dates from family farms in Jordan. “I recently purchased food from here while attending a conference in the city of Los angeles. It was truly fall off the bone deliciously seasoned chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was a little difficult to separate out some of the smaller Bones from the half chicken but I got through it and enjoyed that I could rend the flesh with my hands because I did not have a knife and fork (I do not mind this it made me feel cool to eat it manually). The bread was spectacular and was baked to a degree of fluffiness that I have not experienced in another bread. I got it with hummus and pickled turnips which were pretty delectable, very toothesome and vibrantly colored. The sauces I chose were the tahini and the red sauce which were both nice accents on the food. I also got a delicious mint lemonade which was the perfect amount of sweet and tart with a nice cool mint flavor.

It is so difficult nowadays to find truly authentic Middle Eastern food, oftentimes it is just a poor imitation co-opted and misappropriated by people from northern Europe who think they have a claim to the land. That's why I am so glad you have gotten food from Jerusalem Chicken where I could tell it was cooked by people truly native to the land.“

“5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!“

“Dynamite Mediterranean spot located in a Lawndale area ghost kitchen. Everything that I tried here was fresh-tasting, well-seasoned and so delicious! Standouts for me were the kafta kabob and the gyro meat. I was very impressed with the authenticity of the flavors and the loving care put into the preparation and the presentation. And, the accompanying baba ganoush was very fresh and tasty. David, the chef and owner (along with his wife) is very friendly and welcoming.
