“Ahipoki in Hawthorne has some of the friendliest service I’ve had at a poke spot. Ali was super helpful and welcoming, helped me put together my bowl, and made the whole experience easy. He was handling the cashier, making bowls, keeping everything clean, and still had a great attitude the whole time. He’s funny, easy to talk to, and genuinely seems like he cares about customers having a good experience. The food was fresh and delicious too. Great service, good food, clean place, and a really chill atmosphere. Shoutout to Ali for making the visit a good one,

“There is always a line here because the food is delicious!

My only suggestion would be to make the ordering process a little clearer. Since there’s usually a line, having a menu posted outside would let people decide while waiting. It would also be helpful to clearly explain what comes with each bowl (rice, 2 proteins, 2 sides, etc.), since the current board can be a little confusing.

“Last week I was traveling through LA on my way to Santa Barbara. I had some time to kill so I looked up Poke. Came across this amazing place! I am admittedly new to Poke. The staff took good care of me and I wound up having such a hard decision. I think the spicy Poke might have been might absolute favorite. “Had dinner here yesterday with my Mum and this place certainly ticked all the right boxes, if you’re looking for a healthy spot along the Venice beach broadwalk this is the place to go. “Beautifully designed space and fresh healthy ingredients! As a vegan I appreciate the yummy, healthy (not fried) tofu and all the veggie options! Easy pickup near my gym so will be back for sure on days when I’m too time crunched to cook! Ordered for pick up, it was ready very fast, but stayed to eat at the lovely tables by the windows. You could also sit outside on the nice street tables.“

The Teri beef at other places can be kind of fatty, it was lean and clean. The appearance of the restraunt does not do the food justice. Its our new go to in Torrance, beats our old favorite Island Hut. Sauces including chicken salad dressing are great. Not fancy just good. Grab some and head to the beach.“
