“As far as the food goes, the fish and chips are great. You get huge portions of fish. I've also had the oysters and shrimp, and both are also great. Everything has the perfect amount of batter. The macaroni salad and coleslaw could use more seasoning; it's mostly just mayo. Their tartar sauce is also lacking as it's mostly just mayo with maybe some lemon? Better to make or buy your own. The atmosphere is also lacking as it's located in a run down strip mall, and the one TV they have is off color. Overall I would still recommend this place simply for the food. One of the best fish and chips spots in the area.“

“This might be a gas station but the way they inject the chicken with seasoning makes a wonderful flavor and not to spicy like popeye's is. They have large boxes of chicken for your family to have leftovers, and your going to want them tomorrow. Deals on 25 pcs or more. Easy to fill up and get dinner at one stop!!“

“This option for school lunches has been amazing! Having the opportunity for my daughter to pick out her weekly lunches is the best. Before I used to worry that my daughter wouldn't eat lunch at school because she got tired of taking the same thing over and over again every day from home. Now with all these lunch, snack, and drink options I know she enjoys her lunch and everything else that comes with it. I now know that she is getting a healthy nutrition while at school which will keep her energized and focused while her day at school.“

“Popular pop up tent with fresh pupusas formed and cooked to order. Recommend calling ahead of time to order pupusas, but they have an outdoor table to chill at if you order on the spot. There's a small parking lot next to the tent that almost always has parking spots. Cash only.

The pupusa fillings have varied over the past years, but they've been consistently delicious. I've had squash/cheese, beans/cheese, and pork. Comes with the usual cabbage salad. The sauce is delightfully very spicy.

“I have been passing by this place for a few months and kept saying to myself that I would stop in and try it out. Finally, I had some extra time on my way home, so I stopped in and ordered some food. Very old fashioned establishment that reminded me of a Foster's Freeze. They have plenty of options for food and desserts. I went with the quarter pound bacon cheeseburger and spicy fries. The food came out piping hot and delicious! The price was a little more than I was expecting as the burger, fries, and a drink ran me about $20! I should've grabbed pics of the menu since most of the featured ones are pretty old. I saw a few people eating these ice cream cones that had a mountain of soft serve coming out the top! Definitely need to try one next time. The burger and toppings were super fresh and well cooked. I would've liked my bun toasted a little more. The bacon had a great texture and tasted amazing, not that floppy, thin, tasteless stuff that some burger joints use. The spicy fries were potato wedges with a sort of cajun seasoning that gave them a very slight spice. They were crispy but also pillowy and delicious!Plenty of parking behind the restaurant. I will definitely be back again, but more so as a treat to myself.“

“This is my first time to this location. I went with my wife and our daughter on the bus. It is in a great location that is easily accessible by bus. The route 99 bus through ac transit goes to the far corner of the intersection. It is less then half a block to the bus stop in either direction. Inside it is clean, not too busy and the staff are very polite. I would highly recommend this location. Even at dinner time it was not packed like other locations.“

“This is the best Chinese takeout place in the East Bay. Hands down. The food is always fresh since there are so many people who come here. Whenever something is running low, the cooks already have the next batch ready. I personally like the barbecue chicken or pork, as well as the ribs in black bean sauce. You can't go wrong with the salt & pepper fried fish as well. The best part is that it's very affordable!“

“This place is one of my favorites whenever I crave for phoa. However in my recent visit my order for phoa has some basil leaves that have some insect bites in them and they were not welded out when served with my order. I complained to the server but he mere said sorry and not change the basil served to me. I hope they will be more careful in serving fresh veggies to customers.“

“I haven’t really been inside El Pollo Loco restaurant for a while now and it’s quite modern. This location happens to be new, which is right next to Union City.

The menu went all digital and the food here is good also. Perfectly fit for getting all of the nutrients you need to keep yourself in shape. I also like how they seasoned the chickens as well as the rice. I think I should try other foods besides the chicken meals like the bowls and burritos.

Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces when I got here!“
