Excellent experience dealing with the restaurant owner Ron. All of his staff made us feel very welcomed and were very accommodating during our event. Food was very delicious and our guests complimented it very highly. Would highly recommend this place for it's authentic Indian/Pakistani food!!“

“Was really sad to see my favorite unique + quality brunch spot in the bay change format to being fast casual. It was such an easy brunch pick to take out of towners or friends to.

Now instead, they've become easily one of the best fast-casual food in the bay. So I really can't complain. I guess their format changed worked because I've eaten here more often than when they were full service. The value for the money you get here is pretty nuts. Still just as good ingredients & just as good preparation, all at a more approachable price point & form factor. What really gets me is I'm truly getting restaurant quality cooking for a unique cuisine I don't see very often, just a version that works better to-go. When you compare to some of the other casual lunch/dinner places in the area that have a similar format, it's really no competition. You'd be hard pressed to find a better way to spend $20-30/pp. I also love that they kept some of my favorite guilty pleasures from when they were a full service restaurant, like the knafe pancake.

Their in-house online ordering system is pretty slick and a good deal too. Works just as well as doordash without any of the bloated prices. Wouldn't mind seeing this spread around to more restaurants.“

“This is a family run place with outdoor seating. The food is quick, fresh and tasty. Women members of the family are nicer than the men, who can be clueless and unhelpful. Sometimes the meat is recooked in the crispy tacos which are otherwise my favorite. The flautas are also fresh and good as are the refried pinto beans.I like this casual place a lot—you can buy Russian River Brew next door at Raymnond’s excellent pizza place and sit in the sun with the locals.“

“Prettiest coffee shop imaginable! The coffee shop itself is a vintage airstream and it’s parked within a really beautiful garden store. So you can sit and have your latte amongst all the beautiful plants.

I got a special treat this morning and chose the seasonal cinnamon mocha latte. It was absolute perfection.

“One of my San Francisco Bay Area Secrets..., that is no longer a secret.

Great Bar and Restaurant; old school making drinks (yes, heavy on the alcohol), a wide selection of worldly beers on the menu, a few beers on tap, and a good selection of amount of food that comes out of that kitchen of theirs.

I have been going to the Warehouse since I was a child, when my parents would take me there for dinner way back in the 1980s. Plus, there is a 11-foot tall polar bear, with another black bear for photography. Next door (random hours) is a clothing, antique store and on Sunday's (spring and summer months) is a live band.

If not live music, there is a jukebox with a very wide selection of music to choose from (with cash or on-line), only one (1) pool table, but because there is so much history in that place, there is no need for any activities like pool.

Overall, one of the best drinking holes in the Bay Area. We Love the Warehouse and shall never go to long without a visit.“

“I have been wanting to try this place for a while, and I’m so glad I finally did. The food was very fresh and delicious, and reasonably priced for the quality. The braised lamb sandwich had soft flatbread, crunchy herbs and vegetables, a tangy sauce, and perfectly tender lamb. The service was friendly, warm, and the food came out quickly. Fava is a lovely lunch spot and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant lunch in North Berkeley.“

“When people say a place is 'a hole in the wall', it can go two ways. In this case, it means intimate, small and you hope it's not crowded when you go because there are more fans than seats.

We got lucky, and went before (5pm) the crowd flooded in immediatelyafter we ordered. There was only one Hamachi Kama in the house, and we were the fortunate ones to have tasted it. It's clear this fish wasn't previously frozen, (if it was, they knew how to mask it) it was flaky, super fresh and flavorful.

Each piece of the Kensington roll was SO large, I'm embarrassed to share a photo of me cramming it in my mouth, because it was impossible to be graceful.

The beer with a hint of peach was a must try, it perfectly paired with everything we ordered.

All of the great reviews of how good this place is, were true, including mine.

“My family and I had Bula Pies on Springs Rd. by 7/11 for the first time this evening and it was delicious! We had the Thanksgiving Pie and the banana pudding and both were so good! The limeade drink is my new favorite too so just wanted to shout out to them because food was great and the customer service was too!“

I had left over to take home for another meal. My Pickled Bean & Pork Mix Noodles was so delicious I ordered one to go for my son. The restaurant decor was simple and classy. From chopsticks to tea cups and plates, everything was thoughtfully presented. The place was quiet, we were able to talk at our regular conversation volumes. “My friend had been telling me about this place for months, and I finally went. It's as great as she said! The coffee (well, I had a Chai) was delicious and so were the pastries. They also sell a small variety of items - prepared grab and go food & drinks, jams, and more! The vibe is awesome. It's cute inside & out, with lovely outdoor space on the front patio or back. It reminds me of the coffee houses in Portland (houses w/ tables set up in different rooms).

“Looking to beat the heat so we headed to Berkeley for lunch. Got the Pastrami Ruskie with Latke. Sooooo good. Huge portions. Friendly service. They were out of Prosecco so they couldn’t make me their Old Man & The Deli. Got a margarita and it was both tasty & packed a punch.“

“THE FOOD IS 1000% WORTH THE WAIT!! We arrived around 11 and waited in line for a good amount of time. 30 min? 1 hour? Longer?? I don’t even have a clue because we chatted and looked at all the beautiful scenery there. The staff does a really good job of keeping tables turning and they seat you after you order. I really appreciated how they kept the pace and we didn’t have to find our own table.
The food was sooooo good. We had huevos rancheros, chicken and waffles, tres leches French toast, and a breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was just ok but everything else was AMAZING. 🙌🏼 The michelada was the best I’ve ever had EVER. We ordered a fresh squeezed orange juice to go and were blown away. We all agreed that we’d stand in line for the OJ alone! Ugggghhh, it was all so good! I wish we didn’t live 3 hours away!!

However, wayyyyy too much mayo and does not include Pate, you have to order Pate as an extra add-on, but only $1 extra. Overall, great sandwich but wayyyy too much mayo. “Delicious drinks and kind staff! I work from here almost every day and the staff are always super kind and drinks are delicious + high quality. The business is family owned too which gives it a homey and welcoming vibe.

For working there are a few outlets and fast wifi speed. It's usually not too busy especially in the mornings.“
